Dadi had used a phrase, "Rishton ka Shatranj- The Board Game of Relationships", when she was praising Rags and it got me thinking about ShaTima and Suhani.
I feel that except her family, that is Pankaj, Lata and Bhavna, Suhani doesn't have any outsiders, who would think on her behalf. It saddens me to think that Suhani doesn't have ANYONE outside of her family, who would put her welfare and feelings first.
If you look at Sharad and Pratima's relationship with Suhani, they do love her, however, their connection to Suhani exists because of Yuvraj. ShaTima's relationship with her wouldn't exist without Yuvraj, so really, they can't love Suhani as much as Yuvraj. I don't mean this as a criticism, I am just stating a fact. It's kind of impossible for them to think about Suhani as much as they think about Yuvraj, because they have vested interests. IMO, this factor makes them incapable of being good advisers to Suhani. Since they will ALWAYS think of Yuvraj first AND then Suhani, they can't independently think about what is good for Suhani, unless it's good for Yuvraj too.
Pratima's admission yesterday that she deliberately took Yuvraj's proposal to Suhani, even though she knew of his liking for Soumya, shows that ultimately, even Pratima made Suhani a pawn for her own mission- 'Reform Yuvraj and show him the value of a good heart'. 😲
The brazen way in which Pratima said in front of Suhani that she would do it again, without any regret, shocked me. 😕😕 How selfish. She didn't seem to think, even for a second, how Suhani would live with JerkRaj and the fact that Suhani would suffer in the highly toxic environment of BH.
Prats pushed Suhani into a snake pit willingly, because she knew Dadi's ways, and that Suhani would never be accepted by Dadi and her serpentine duo. 😕Like Pratima, Pankaj was also selfish and sentenced Suhani to lifelong purgatory. She played a part in essentially destroying Suhani's life. 😡😡 What irritates me is that she isn't sorry about it, in the least. 🤢
She wanted Suhani to be the one true antidote to Dadi's poisonous influence on Yuvraj, but she never thought that Suhani can't be the sole warrior who takes up the cudgels of change in BH. She needed ShaTima's direct and not 'hidden' support.
Very unfair of her to dump so much on Suhani, as if she is Superwoman. 😳 Suhani doesn't have some magic wand with which she can magically change Yuvraj. I hate this idea of the woman being some kind of reformer for her husband.
Yuvraj can change only when HE wants to, not because Suhani holds his hand and leads him towards the light at the end of the tunnel.
