How the CV's should redeem themselves.

The show for the past few weeks have been a roller coaster of bad writing, stupid dialogues and inconsistent emotions depicted by a lot of characters. Of course, this is not the actors' faults, they're merely doing what is instructed to them by the CV's. Which is why I have a few points to the CV's on how they can redeem themselves from the monstrosity they have been calling a serial.

1: They need to show consistency. By this, I don't mean like dedicate the next few weeks to Yuvani scenes (although I wouldn't mind that). I mean, they need to stop trying to include every single ounce of cliche overused plots into one serial. I feel like they're trying so hard to fit in too many plots that they're losing track of everything. If they want Yuvraj to hate Soumya all the while protecting Suhani from her, stick with it. Don't make it look like Yuvraj has lot brain cells and have him go out shopping with her. It makes no sense. If they want Suhani to be suspicious of Soumya, stick with it, don't make her then lose track of this and continue on with her Soumya crap.

2: Fix what is wrong with each character. Make Yuvraj get rid of his anger and focus on his wife, let him realise she is equal to him, and not someone to shout at when you want. I don't care about him falling for her, but at least show that he thinks of her as an equal now, and not as some personal maid. Make Suhani realise that she can't please everyone in the world, bring back the Suhani we all know, the one that didn't lose track of who she was in an attempt to please her in laws. I know you're trying to show her as some kind hearted girl, but as of now, all she's been shown as is being a doormat. As for Soumya, this girl is too far gone to be fixed. Send her off to a pilgrimage and have her cleanse her soul in holy water. May she be redeemed.

3: Finally, stop making this show about Soumya. I know that every serial need some kind of fang wielding vamp to add to drama, but when the show focuses too much on the villain that's when the line is crossed. They need to find a balance between evil and good on this show, without tilting the scale on to one side. At this point if you gave me a trivia on Soumya and Suhani, I'd probably only know stuff about Soumya since that's all that is ever shown. For the last time, she is not the main character, stop treating her like a freaking goddess. Find the balance you so clearly need.

These are just some points on how I think the CV's need to redeem themselves. I am aware that so many people have stopped watching the show as of now, including me. So I'd like to know your thoughts on how the CV's could redeem themselves and the show.

Great post.
While I dislike a lack of logic and convenient black holes in a plot, it may be the only way forward in this serial, but only if the freaking cvs pay attention to what viewers want. As matters stand, Yuvraj is further off than ever from coming to love/cherish/long for Suhani; snaky and gang are winning all the way; Pratima is toothless, poor lady (and Sharad is missing); the brothers could easily be forgotten as even living in that house; no sign of suhani's parents or sister, which is a pity, because BH and the same old characters are beginning to feel claustrophobic.
So, what I'd like:
1. Widen the net, show more of Saurabh and Anuj, diversify into their lives and show their affection and support for Suhani. More of Bhavna, esp as I read that her husband is related to the birlas. As Suhani is determined to be blind, she may need help seeing the truth about snaky, have someone to discuss strategy with, get a boost from 'her' people to supplement Pratima and Sharad's support, because the latter 2 are constrained due to family politics.
2. If we have black holes anyway, then throw that whole horrible jerkraj week into a black hole, and go back to the point when he seemed to be at the start of kuch-kuch-hota hai with Suhani. And, as he gets more into her, let her pull away and screw his happiness.
3. Please, please, please, Suhani needs to stop trusting Snakey and start paying her back. I wish--it won't happen, because it's fairly clear they're going with the MU line, with her suspecting the sainted husband, which I fear will only make her more eager to fall over herself pleasing him if it's proved she's wrong.
4. Make yuvraj get over himself. WTH is he vso arrogant about? Even when he's nice to Suhani, there's an element of condescending that I don't like. That's why, even if it happens that Suhani thinks HE is up to no good, rather than the snake, I don't mind. Let him get a dose.
5. Just get to the effing point where yuvraj and suhani are overcome with passion.

I agree with all your points. It's gotten to the point in the serial where I think the cvs are now lost themselves. They're trying so hard to show the vamps of BH that they've forgotten that the reason people started watching was for the main character. The reason people have been sticking through the crap they're feeding us is that they're hoping for even just an inch of a yuvani moment. Like I said before they need to find a balance and show more than soumya in the show. I agree that a lot more characters need to be shown.

Stellar post and great pointers! 👏👏👏

1. CONSISTENCY: This is the pivot which keeps the SSEL wheel going. The reason we are all so pissed off, is that they're flip-flopping when it comes to the leads. One day Yuvraj is affectionate towards Suhani, the next day he is all out angry at her. As you said, they had a GREAT plot with Yuvraj trying to protect Suhani against Somu, and they trashed it. I, for one, was loving the SnakeRaj fights over Suhani. They turned Yuvraj into Soumya's whipping boy for no reason. Suhani is one of the dumbest protagonists on Indian TV right now. She is super-smart when it comes to Ankit and others, but dumb when it comes to her won life.

Without consistency and believability, you lose the viewers' interest.

2.CHARACTERS: I think the biggest issue is Yuvraj's character. They had taken the correct path with his character but have now gone back on all of the progress he made and in fact introduced faults into him which he didn't even have. Yuvraj needs to be the stubborn guy who falls in love with Suhani despite himself. Now, he is an ass who mistreats her along with his Dadi. Don't trash Yuvi to the extent that the audience loses their connect with YuvAni. The Indian audience is emotional and can't accept a husband who has NO reaction to his wife in trouble. 😕 Don't confuse the audience when it comes toYuvraj's love for Suhani. That has to remain stable, no matter what happens. All the other characters are well-etched and I don't know why they keep trashing their leads.

I made a post about the TRPs, so check it out if it interests you- http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4309079

@bold

I completely agree. At the end of the day, what most people are watching this show for is Yuvani and the development between them, if as audiences, we lose the connection we feel we have with them, then the cv's would literally have nothing to fall back on to keep their show going. Like I already said, I know every show need some kind of villain but they need to find a balance between that, and evidently they don't know how to do that.

The CVs are under the mistaken impression that SoDa's plotting independently bring them their ratings. They don't seem to understand that the audience only appreciates plotting as long as it affects SUHANI, the main protagonist. She is the hero of the show and people wanna see how she deals with SoDa. Nobody is tuning in to watch SoDa's story. 😆😆

I think the CVs are walking a razor thin line with Yuvraj because nobody is gonna accept YuvAni if he is gonna be indifferent to her and be more friendly to her BFF..

😆this misconception of theirs will surely not bring them the ratings they desperately need to keep their show on air.
