Yuvraj grabs her hand, "Where are you going?" Soumya turns to look at Yuvraj, "Yuvraj.." Yuvraj pulls Soumya on to the bed. Soumya falls on to Yuvraj. Soumya looks up at Yuvraj smiling. Yuvraj slowly begins to drift off to sleep, "I wont let you go." Soumya lifts her hand to touch his face but quickly turns to look at the door as the lights comes on. Pratima stood there expressionless watching as Soumya rush to remove his hand that held onto her. Soumya then sat up on the bed trying to fix her sari, "Ma, what are you doing up? Weren't you sleep.." Pratima lifts her hand forbidding her to talk. Pratima continues to watch as Soumya tries to fix her sari that wasn't out of place. Pratima felt disgusted seeing her sit next to her beloved son. "Enough, you did what you wanted to do. Now quit acting and go from here." Soumya stared at Pratima cursing her luck. Soumya gets up and begins to walk towards the door when Pratima grabs on to her hand as she was about to leave. "Dont you ever call me Ma even by mistake. Call me Aunty! I am only Ma for my son's and my bahu's and you are not one of them." Soumya lifts Pratima hand and cups it's in between her hands, "I just didnt want you to feel lonely since Suhani has left the house." Pratima slowly pulls her hand away, "Yes she has left but don't think it's forever. She will be back tomorrow and he will bring her back." Pratima turns to look at Yuvraj sleeping. Soumya sneered at Pratima comment. "And don't worry, I won't tell Yuvraj about this drama you were about to create." Pratima turns to look at Soumya, "But don't force me to tell him." Pratima points her chin towards the door, "You may leave now." Soumya storms out the room and runs up to her room. Pratima walks in and sits next to Yuvraj. She gently sweep her hand over his face, "Yuvraj... Yuvraj.." Yuvraj turns away from Pratima, "I just want you to be happy." Yuvraj said as he drifts off to sleep again. Pratima smiles at him as she gets up off the bed. She goes to grab the blanket and lays it on him. "Good night." She stares at the empty space next to Yuvraj. "It's time you come home." she said as she wipes the tear off her eye. She walks out the room turning the light off behind her.
Soumya sits on the side of the bed clutching on to a pillow. She gets upset and throws it across the room. "What does she think of herself. Suhani will come back! After what she saw tonight why will she come back?" Soumya smiles as she remembers how Suhani refused to talk to her when she found out that Soumya had gotten married to Krishna. "Suhani is gone and will not come back. I am her childhood friend who would know her better then me." Soumya gets off her bed and walks over to pick up the pillow. "I will finally have everything I want" she said as she hugged the pillow. "Tonight I will sleep peacefully."
Suhani is sitting by the window looking up at the sky. She thinks back to the good times she spent with Soumya. She smiles at the memories of her college life with her. Her smiles quickly vanishes as her beautiful memories turned to horrific memories of a friend turned foe. She understood Pratima and Sharad quietness. She understood Dadi and Rags hatred. She hated herself for it but she was even able to understand the reason behind Yuvraj deceit. But Soumya was just another riddle. They were best friend. How was she able to lie to her. If it had been something small she would have forgiven her but this was her life. How was she able to keep to such a big secret from her. How could Soumya let her get married to a guy who doesn't love her. Whatever her reasons were, what happen happened. But today, when she was standing at the door, she tried to find her friend but all she saw was a stranger who looked so comfortable after ripping her life apart. How could Soumya hate her so much. She only wanted the good for her. She wiped her tear as she looked at her packed suitcase. She thought after tomorrow night she would be on a plane to Australia. She felts scared and worried, she had never left this city before and now she will be flying out of the country. She was going to be all alone but she didn't feel any less lonely now either. Her phone began to ring on top the bed. She rushed over to pick it up hoping the ring tone wouldn't wake Yuvraj up, she answered the call angry "Krishna why did you call so late you know you could of woken up Yuv..." She stopped as she looked at the empty bed. "I mean uncle and aunty." Krishna gets upset "Why are yelling at me? I didn't leave your phone on loud. Normal people put they phone on vibrate at night. You made the mistake and you are blaming me." Suhani is shocked, "Normal people? You don't think I am normal. You are not normal, who calls this late at night." "I am not normal? Look who is crying out like a cat. Now you are not worried about someone walking up." Suhani bites her tongue realizing she was yelling and rush to check outside to see if she had disturbed anyone. She looked around from her door and saw no one approaching. She walks back in and closes the door. She lefts the phone back to her ear to hear Krishna calling for her. "Hello... Hello Gappi Ji..." "I told you not to call me Gappi. Wait you just said Ji. This much respect, what did I do to earn this much respect." Suhani says as she sits on her bed. "well I have to give you some respect after all you are the 8th weirdiest.. I mean, wonder of the world." Suhani ignores the comment, "I will take that as a compliment. Why did you call so late?" "I called because I wanted to let you know that go early in the morning to see Roshan, he should help you out with everything." Suhani looks down at her hand that layer on her lap, "ok." "Suhani, you should at least tell your family where you are going." Krishna told her afraid she was trying to break relationship with everyone. "Krishna, if I tell them they won't let me go and they will force me and Yuvraj to work things out. That is not right for him or me. I know what I needed to know. Sharma aunty is right I should live for myself. Over that I am just going to be there for a couple of days. It's not like I am leaving forever." "ok." Krishna said giving up. He knew she was hard headed like him and when she decided on something nothing would change her mind, "Call me when everything is done." Suhani gets up "I will." She cuts the phone and goes back to look out the window. She looks at the moon and admires it's beauty. A thought pushes her away from the window. She walks over to the side table and pulls out a notepad from the drawer. She walks back next to the window and begins to write.
It's morning, Rags wakes up and finds Saurabh in front of the mirror putting on his jacket. "You are going to the office again. Can't you take off." Saurabh laughs, "It just my second day." Rags gets upset and throws the blanket off of her and walks into the bathroom. Saurabh watches her from the mirror as he couldn't help but wonder the little changes he was beginning to see in Rags. She had never gotten upset at him for leaving the house and last night when she said she was happy with his decision, he was shaken. He questioned whether this respect and concern would be short lived or was she in fact turning back into the person he fell in love with. He pushed the thought aside and began fixing his hair.
Pratima walks into Yuvraj room with a glass of lemon juice and sees Yuvraj sleeping with a smile on his face. As she admires him, Soumya walks up behind her, "Aunty?". Pratima quickly turns around, "What are you doing here?" "Umm the way Yuvraj came home last night I was worried about him." she told Pratima innocently. Soumya tries to walk past Pratima but is stopped as Pratima holds onto to the door. "You don't need to worry about him. I am here. Breakfast is being served you should go and eat." Pratima slowly closes the door on Soumya face. Soumya stares bitterly at the door, she stomps her foot and walks towards the kitchen. Pratima puts the glass down on the table and sits next to Yuvraj trying to wake him, "Yuvraj, wake up beta it's morning." Yuvraj tries to open his eyes. As the light hits his eye he grabs onto his head. He never had such a painful headache before, "Ma, what's going on? My head hurts alot." Pratima grabs the glass of juice and pain reliever medicine, "You got drunk last night that is why you have this headache. Why did you drink?" Yuvraj slowly begins to remember when he grabbed the glass of alcohol from the waiter after his friend stop the waiter from offering on the account that he doesn't drink. "Sorry Ma, I wasn't thinking." Yuvraj held on to his head as if it was about to explode while getting up to have the medicine. She hands him the medicine and juice, "Now rest a bit but make sure you eat something after you get up." The imagine of Suhani sari appeared in his mind as he hands the glass back to his mom. "Ma, Suhani came back, where is she?" He tries to get up but the pain in his head pulled him back. Pratima slowly pushes him to lay down, "That was not Suhani, it was Soumya. Don't think to much and go back to sleep. You need to rest." Yuvraj wanted to get up and toss Soumya out but the anger just made his head hurt more. He closes his eyes as his mom got up. Pratima walkes up to the door and turn to Yuvraj again, "I will send Ramesh to bring you a bottle of water make sure you drink it after you get up" Yuvraj nods. Pratima walks out closing the door behind her.
Everyone except Yuvraj gather around the dining table. Ramesh puts down a big bowl of salad on the table. "Look how great Soumya is she made salad for us. She cares about our health so much." Dadi praises Soumya. Everyone ignores the praises and begin to settle in their seats. "Soumya beta come and sit with me." Dadi told Soumya ignoring the fact that Rag was sitting next to her. Dadi looked at Rag making her move from her chair. Soumya smiled at Dadi and Rags as she took her seat besides Dadi. "What is the big deal, it's just salad. It's not a 3 course meal." Rag commented back as she took Suhani seat at the table. "Atleast she knows how to make something and doesnt just break bread." Rag was surprised by Dadi's change and couldn't take any more insults. She took the napkin off her lap and placed it on the plate. She was about to leave when Saurabh grabbed onto her hand underneath the table before she could get up. She turned to look at him and saw him shake his head slightly. She nodded to him in agreement. She sat back placing the napkin back on her lap.
It was early in the evening and Suhani was standing in front of road that lead to her house. She was afraid of what she would come to hear when she asks the truth behind her wedding. She begins to walk towards her house lost in her thought. She was always able to trust her father blindly as every daughter should. But the past couple of days have been so strange and venomous. She knew Soumya since childhood, she knew every inch of her but yesterday she met with a side of her she never saw. This thought of Soumya had stopped Suhani in her tracks. A shadow of fear fell upon her. She wanted answer but was afraid of hearing the worst. She didn't know if she could bare anymore. She had never felt so broken in life. She knew her father would have never get her married to someone who didnt love her. But she could avoid the bitterness Yuvraj had always shown towards her father. The wind blew her towards her house. She began to recall Sharma aunty words from this morning, "No matter how hard it might be to hear but the truth is better then not knowing anything at all." Suhani slowly begins to walk towards her house as she remembers the time when she, Soumya, Bhavna use to play with her father after he came back from work. She stops in front of the door to her house and begins to wipe her tears. The fly open in front of her, "Suhani."
Soumya sat on Dadi bed while Dadi was looking in her closet. "What surprise do you have for me, Dadi." Soumya said excited wondering what gift was she getting now. Dadi turns around and show Soumya some papers. Soumya looked sad as well as confused towards her. "Dont look at me that way, these paper will make Yuvraj yours forever." Dadi said as she hands her the papers. Soumya grabs the paper and looks at it confused "Divorce paper?" She began to go thru it. She looks up at Dadi and smiled, "Yuvraj and Suhani divorce paper."
