Feeling Sorry for Suhani

Yuvraj is not ay a stage where he can fall in love with Suhani, because his thought process is still very shallow and materialistic. Even if he thinks that Soumya is missing out on him, he isn't actually showing her that he loves her more than Krishna, just throwing all these material things in her face to acquaint her with both his and Krishna's "aukaad" (in his words).

He doesn't really love Soumya. He just thought she would a perfect fit in his world- beautiful wife for handsome Yuvraj who comes from the beautiful Birla khandaan. It was all about status. Even his behaviour is not that of someone who has lost their true love, but rather of a businessman who couldn't acquire the goal he set his eyes on. That is why he is not sad but rather, feels highly slighted by Soumya's refusal. He is angry about her rejection and not losing her, per se.

I feel bad for Suhani, 'cause it really sucks when the person you love doesn't even think you are worthy of their attention. She is in for a big heartbreak. I am looking forward to that, though. It will be her rise from the ashes. Hopefully, she teaches Yuvraj that the value of a person with light in their heart is always greater than the lightness of someone's skin. He should realise that no one will love him like Suhani, change his belief system and understand that he is not superior to someone just because he has less melanin in his skin.

Agree with you! I don't know what will be the condition of Suhani after realising the truth... Feeling so sad for her... For me, the most annoying part is Yuvraj's show off in front of Soumya... Really disgusting!

Yes, I agree. 👍🏼 Don't know why Indian TV is hellbent on portraying Indian parents as ostriches with their heads in the sand. I mean, why would any parent want their child to be married to someone who is downright disgusted by them?
Soumya's decision can still be blamed on her age and immaturity. What excuse does Suhani's father have? Does he plan on blackmailing Yuvraj to have children with Suhani too? He should know that this pretense has to end someday or the other.
