We completely understand that long-time members may sometimes feel the need to step away, and we genuinely respect each individual’s decision. While we don’t offer instant account deletion, we do provide a Hibernation feature that allows users to step away while keeping their posts intact. This helps preserve the continuity of forum discussions, which are often built over years. Platforms like Reddit follow a similar approach—when a user deletes their account, their posts remain but are anonymized. StackOverflow and many other forums also retain user contributions to avoid disrupting valuable threads and shared knowledge.

Regarding your other suggestions:

• Dark Mode is already available! You can enable it from the hamburger menu—do check it out if you haven’t yet.
• We agree with your point on poll vote counts. While percentage breakdowns are visible, we’re working on showing the actual vote numbers as well. This improvement should be live soon.
• And yes, a Chess forum sounds like a fantastic idea! We’ll go ahead and get that started—it’ll be great to see discussions from you and your friends there.

Thank you for taking time to read my post. I am really excited for chess forums. I'm gonna inform them about it.

Regarding account deletion I understand your point now. It makes sense to not delete the account rather give option to hibernate them. Actually I haven't used reddit or any other forums except this one. So my opinion might be silly on that. 👾

Regarding dark mode, I am already using dark mode, it's great but I have faced some issues with this feature like text are darker sometimes even in black background and there is a post before the deletion post where a user has shown images of that. So I hope you will sort it out.

The inbox update was fine, but this new format of "My Posts" isn't that good. Please change it back to the way it was earlier.

I miss the old My Posts page Please make it like before

Also the timestamps are not working on My Posts page.

If you can be little specific what made you feel that it’s a downgrade, it will help in identifying the issue better and make necessary changes. We have not removed any thing from the page and rather tried to add for easy identification.

Hi,

I have been having issues login into my account for the past 2-3 days. Every time I press on the login button, it asks me to download something instead of taking me to the login page. Also, when I try to login through Google Chrome, it shows an error.

I was able to sign in somehow after multiple attempts. I have never had this issue before as a regular India Forums member.

Any help would be appreciated!

Earlier it was much comfortable and easier to look through 'My Post'

Please change it back to how it was
