When private forums were introduced, the idea was that a private forum that proved its popularity (e.g. 200 members) could apply to become a public forum. However, there was never support for members to post open invitations in public forums for everyone to participate in our private forum events, and thus many members may not know that "private" doesn't mean "keep out."

I have pushed back against DT efforts to keep even auto-join private forums' existence obscure. It cost me at least one WL increase, but now the DT is at least allowing private forums to invite new members through the Creative Contests topic.

Good luck for your effort to go public! I hope there will soon be clearly published guidelines for private forums:

1. What is the rationale to discourage private forum members to publish open invitations in public forums?

2. How to apply to take over a private forum when the Creator and Managers have never posted in it?

3. What happens to a private forum when the Creator is banned?

I think you can promote your forum in chat club thread of the forums. I never did that as usually i never found any supernatural shows except naagin which had it's own forum. But since bhaagin and Shaitanee rasme may not have much activity in main forum i felt it's better to use this rather than using 2 different forums

sir, there seems to be a glitch, the notification panel is obstructed. I did refresh a couple of times but it is still showing the same way

My account was in hibernation and it took me a while to figure out a way to turn the 'deactivate' mode off.

I hope this issue is worked upon.

vijay's picture and name being hidden, an issue that I reported two weeks ago for my Outbox, also exists in my Inbox and in the Mahabharat Katha private forum's list of topics, at the bottom of page 2.

The topic "Decoding the Gita" displays a blank instead of vijay as the Author. The first post of this topic doesn't display vijay's picture.

On the same page, vijay's second post displays his picture. On the second page, third page ... vijay's first post is missing his picture.

If vijay has read the PM, the Indian flag appears faded, and if he hasn't read the PM, the Indian flag appears unfaded.

Next to other PMs sent to vijay, I see everything: his picture, name and Indian flag.

If I search my Outbox for vijay so that only PMs to him are listed, PMs that had only the flag (when all PMs were visible) now appear with everything because they're no longer the topmost PM to vijay on the page.

This peek-a-boo effect is specific to vijay and no other members.

While hovering on the day the exact date n time used to display earlier . It’s not showing any more . Can you please look into this .
