I am using web version now, and still I cannot tag @Sutapasima or @LizzieBennet or any other mods after I have pressed a new message from my inbox.

So instead I have to go to their profile and message them. Then it gets tagged. Is this a thing? I have to now go to someone's profile and then I will be able to message them or sth?? smiley13

The clean-up of posts on our platform is conducted through an automated process, designed to maintain the quality and relevance of discussions. This system automatically removes posts that are considered low-effort or minimal, such as +1 posts or similar content like "thank you", "please update soon" etc.

I realize this increased frequency of clean-up has impacted your post count. It's important to note that this automation is impartial and applies the same criteria to all members' posts. Our goal is to foster meaningful interactions over quantity.

If you have concerns that your posts are being removed erroneously, or if you notice any inconsistencies, please do let us know. While the process is automated, we are always looking to refine and improve it. Your feedback is invaluable in this regard.

We appreciate your participation in our community and your efforts to contribute positively. We're here to support you and ensure a fair experience for all members. If there's anything else you need clarification on or assistance with, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Also, I still cannot tag users if I am creating a post. I still have to reedit and tag users - and that too type out the whole of their usernames!

We can’t double quote anymore due to the copying restriction smiley19

Surely it should be possible to copy paste our own posts right in case we want to post it in other places etc

I posted a comment on this article, pointing out that the episode date was wrong, the most shocking part of the episode was left out, and the wrong character was named at one point.

Someone revised the article, but instead of thanking me for helping to fix it, my comment got deleted and my number of comments dropped.

Is it a technical glitch that when an article gets pulled and reuploaded, comments get deleted? All of the Likes didn't get deleted, so I suspect that India Forums is allowing its staff authors to delete comments to save face at the expense of members' rank promotions.

Hi,

I am here to make request/suggestion, can moderators get an option to restrict user from commenting into a post for certain number of hours or days or weeks.

I have seen in the past that whenever situation goes out of controls moderators are forced to lock a thread in order to control the situation. But i felt it would be injustice to thread maker if she or he is attacked by a group of members and if those posts are responsible for closing down the thread.

If moderators gets an option to restrict those who are responsible for getting the thread closed then it will help thread maker to put thier pov with much ease and also helps moderators keep the thread clean.

May be the option can be like auto 24 hrs restrict once they add it. The user can only comment after 24 hrs and mods need not intervene in unrestricting users. It can be automatic task.

Similarly for mods they can close a thread and add a timer after how many hours thread should get reopen. This way mods need not monitor every locked thread.

Thanks,

Diya
