it took almost year for us to bring Barun and Sanaya to top..even after Geet went off air, and IPK was on top of the charts, its only in April 2012, Barun came to top and SI in second place.. I really don't think fan base has got anything do with number of shows or the number of hits and flops..some of these guys will stay in our hearts for long time..

Lol.. fan points are based on number active fans for a celebrity. Active means fans who have logged on atleast once in a week, not how much thet talk about the celebrity in CC or in IF. Anyways it will be good if admins can shed more light on this.. we are not insecure😆

hey everyone ,
As I mentioned before , the topics were merged due to fact that both were queries regarding celebrity ranking . Normally the topics prevailing at the same time are merged . This is not done to this single topic. We can not keep two topics discussing the same queries even though they are from two different fan groups. I request you all to stick to the queries and not point fingers at the other fan group.

Stalking again is a universal state of affairs on the forum...otherwise how would people appear out of the blue knowing exactly what was said elsewhere. Personally I have to say curiosity has made me look a few times but that was a until I realized that most of the venomous filth spewed in them is actually detrimental to my own faith in human nature so my statement is based on past experience.
Btw, it's a public forum and if anyone has the right to state their views then anyone else should have the right to read them. Perhaps Vijay should consider chat clubs which are not visible to everyone but then the activity in those chat clubs should not be a part of tv rankings.
Absolutely an actor should not be getting fan points for activity created which has nothing to do with them. If as a fan of an actor I am debating in say the Debate Mansion about politics then what on earth does that topic have to do with my favorite and why should my activity in that forum be attributed to my favorite. Go ahead and create a separate ranking for fan activity. Otherwise include Forum rankings in with celebrity rankings...at least they are related to the celebrity in question. Another point being that posting a topic on a show forum discussing a topic is more time consuming than chatting so obviously chatting makes for more activity. In that case all fan bases should stop making forum posts and threads and should just indulge in chatting.
So what if a show is a 'flop' and get's buzz...at least it's airing and the people involved in it are working on TV. So as it is a TV forum please continue to give buzz related articles about celebrities for whom working on TV is still their priority.

the thing is called fan points na,not celebrity points. So what it has to do with the celebrity not on the tv for one year😆 if that is the case one actress is also not there on tv for some months now, fans are still active and even view points are max now.😆

So this is what fan point doubt is. Fan points are not based on how much fans talk about an actor, how will the concerned authority will find out and compute the points if it is based how much the fans are talking about the celebrity. It is based on the fans activity here in a way that, if a fan is logging in at least once in a week and if not that id will be considered as inactive. Not based on what we talk on forum and on chat clubs about the actor. And the max fan point is 500.

I've heard a lot of people are also questioning buzz and to be fair I think most fan groups do question it when other celebrities get it and make fun of other fan bases when their favorite ranks top because of buzz...some fan bases make fun of others when their favorite doesn't rank on top even when they do get buzz.
The thing though is that buzz is generally related to a working actor and their work...it's about current news associated with that celebrity. It makes far more sense for buzz points to be included in celebrity ranking than chat clubs or posts that have nothing to do with that celebrity.
If fan activity points are given on the basis of fans insulting celebrities or idle chit chat in chat clubs then it seriously reflects badly on the image of IF as a professional entity.
