Nothing can help this show expect for better written characters. ITV audience are much smarter now than before so there are not going to accept illogical tracks.

Those shows are promoted as illogical, supernatural shows so ITV audience expects trash content. All Ekta shows are prominently watched by housewives (the typical TRP aunties) and they prefer the masala content.

The way that shows like SPM are promoted are most appealing to younger audiences. These audiences are more likely to have a more prominent online presence and are much quicker to pick up on tracks thats don't make sense. They promoted something and showing something completely different. Obviously, viewers are angry.
