No tragic ending, please!: Sachin Pilgaonkar
Shailesh Kulkarni | Oct 26, 2011, 12.00AM ISTIncidentally, he has had no formal training in either dancing, singing or acting and says he learnt it all by observing others. "If you have passion for a particular skill, nothing is impossible," he believes. Recently Sachin's filmJana Pahachana, a continuation of his 70s film Akhiyon Ke Jharoko Se, released. Apparently the tragic end of Akhiyon Ke Jharoko Se had disturbed him very much and he'd felt that injustice was done to the hero. "In God's kingdom one surely gets justice, though sometimes it is delayed. And so in Jana Pahechana I've shown a happy ending," he explains.
Before this one, Sachin had directed 22 films, the first being My Baap in 1982, when he was just 25. And on the acting front, he has has been a part of not only Hindi and Marathi films, but also Bhojpuri, Kannada, Gujarati and English films too. But right now, the actor is totally focused on his singing abilities charming the show's judges Anu Malik and Alisha Chinai. And what's his message for budding actors and singers? "Work hard to achieve your goal. You may be unsuccessful initially, but that should not discourage you. Keep trying!"
