He is one of the most popular faces ever on Indian television as well as films, and Sachin Pilgaonkar has worn the director's hat with elan too.

Besides, along with his actress wife Supriya Pilgaonkar, he managed to win the first season of Nach Baliyeas well. And yet, Sachin remains modest as ever and is still keen on learning new things. The actor, who is already a hit in Star Ya Rockstar, a singing reality show on Zee TV involving TV actors as participants, says, "Television and films have given me a lot. And yet, it's only human to ask for more. I am excited that I have got a platform to showcase my singing talent and I have been devoting three hours everyday to singing! This is my 50 thyear in the entertainment industry and yet, I am learning new things everyday. I can't ask for more. At the same time, we aren't professional singers and would expect not to be judged harshly in Star Ya Rockstar."

He adds, " I couldn't have found a better life partner than Supriya. Even today, she looks at both of us as students in this industry and her constant support has gone a long way in making difficult decisions seem like a cakewalk."

Will we see him directing a show on television in the near future? "To be honest, I can't make daily soaps. They are not my cup of tea and involve too much of stress. I am planning a bi-weekly show in Hindi in the near future, and it might just be a comedy. After all, people say that comedy is my forte." shares Sachin.
