Thanks a lot for the links.

I heard both the songs and they were truly a welcome change after Luck Aasma.
Coming to the first song,Dhol Baje..wow...I loved the way she sang both the male and the female parts👏She started with this high tone and great depth in her voice when she sang the gujrati words..like the way the people there actually sing..and then suddenly changed her voice in a soft tone to sing the female parts(I don't know what are the technical terms)😆She was so good!👏I loved the way she expressed with her voice..in the middle of the song..very good..I really liked the performance!Wonderful👏Its such a hard song..you know the range in the song..i guess in the original song,three singers sang..and here she managed it all by herself.really good..and since she herself is a Gujrati,she got the wordings right..so that was good too.Enjoyed the song.I liked the last part too..where she sang with the chorus..the atmosphere became so enjoyable.Very good.

The girl with the by god thing was irritating though😕

And now coming to Lambi judaai..for me..this is one of the best performance of Manasi!What feel to the song..What control over the lyrics...I heard the original song too..and both the vids sound somewhat the same.Very good attempt.She is so soulful.👏One of her biggest asset is that she has a lot of vocal work in her voice👏I am completely mesmerized with Lambi judaai..it was a full on performance for me.Really amazing!👏I wish her lots of luck.Like people say kuch logon ke awaaz mein saraswati ma baste hain..she is one of them.Didn't know she sings so good.👏

You're most welcome, Shounak...totally agree...Manasi ki aawaaz mein saraswati ka vaas hai...she is truly gifted with singing talent...I'm glad more ppl are now aware of what a fantastic singer she is...her singing speaks for itself...you don't need to be her fan...any objective person can see what a fantastic singer she is :-)

satya vachhan 😆 why is it so hard for people to appreciate every artist for what they are truly good at?! More importantly, why does one artist being exceptional at something implicitly translate to the other being held in ridicule or mockery?! I mean keep Ragini where she is with her singing, and keep Manasi where she is! they're getting compared because they're contesting for a common title - but where does the rest of the ego battle come in?! On a serious note - agree with you Nur. This has served an ideal platform for Manasi to showcase her singing... maybe it will actually take places on the music front from here on, places that she always sounds like having hoped to make it to! And like she said, post the very stressful shooting schedule for a daily like Gulaal - SYR is like this perfect next phase to have a project in hand, but also sort of break from that rut of a daily...

Thanks llyria for sharing Manasi's 2 links...I had missed her Gujju song from HDDCS...Marvelous fantabulous singing...She makes all indians and gujjus proud...

Mansi ke gaane ke charche sabhi sections me hote hai...Even in RMJ section as Mona - Sara Khan was there supporting her..
