Everyone turned around to see who the night intruder was….

Neha was seated beside Aryan's bed…. Ajay, Boxer and Zubin were at his other side… Shotgun behind Neha….

Dipika was seated by the couch beside his bed…. She was contended herself sitting there looking at Aryan smiling at the jokes Ajay was cracking… The glances she stole at Aryan were thousands…. But she didn't notice that the glances Aryan stole at her… Smiling one swift sweep with his eyes and Dipika would be in it… He wondered why? 😉

The intruder was the night duty nurse… She was around fort years of age… They all considered her as their elder…. As their mother… 😳 She was very caring….. Very sweet, helpful and bubbly…. They knew her very well for the past two months….. Everyone liked her very much…. She never got angry… So they were all surprised as to why she was like this… She was having a tray with a glass on it… 😳

Ajay coming to her and tried to put his hand around her shoulders….

Ajay: Are… Lovely ji…. Kya baat hai? Tusi…. 😃

Lovely nurse held a warning hand in front of her and with anger on her face said…. 😈

Nurse: Distance… Tu mujhse door hi raha kar…. 😆

Seeing Lovely's expression Neha got up from her place near Aryan and came up to her…. Looking suspiciously at Ajay she asked… 🤔

Neha: Kyun Lovely ji kya hua? Ajay ne kuch kiya? Waise aaj itna gussa kyun?

Lovely came into the room and and went upto Aryan… Aryan was watching all this with an amused look on his face… The nurse went upto Aryan and taking his wrist started to check his pulse… Then she said….

Nurse: Tum logon ko inse milne ka waqt nahi hai… Agreed….Doctor ne kaha hai... Agar visiting hours ke baad aaye to doctor ne milne ki ijaazat di hai…. (Putting down Aryan's wrist she went to the foot of the bed) Aaj pata chala visiting hourse se pehle aa gaye, (Studying the chart) phir visiting hours tak ruke… Ab visiting hours ke baad bhi… Patient ko rest chahiye nahi?! 😡

Saying this she went to the cupboard to take out medicines to give Aryan… Only then did the team look at their watches…. And they were shocked… It was nine'o clock… For the past three hours and more they had been there talking with Aryan…. 😲

They looked at each other sheepishly… After the doctor had gone…. They had only talked and talked…. Of course Aryan didn't get a chance to even open his mouth because the team was careful so as to avoid him asking him questions…. 👏

Ajay and Boxer did gimmicks with Zubin…. 😆 Making Aryan giggle…. Everyone forgot the turmoil they had undergone these two months…. 😊 It was a jolly evening for them…. 😛

Dipika: Lovely ji…. Sorry… Vo hume samay ka andaaza hi nahi raha….☺️

Lovely came back to the bed carrying the medicines…. She laid them on the tray and took the glass in her hands….

Lovely: Andaaza kaise rahega???? Do maheene main aapko dekh raheen hoon… Subah shaam yahan haazir jo ho jaate the…. (To Aryan) Lijiye….

Aryan looked at the glass weirdly and then up at the nurse… Seeing his looks the nurse chided him…. 😡

Nurse: Aise kya muh bana rahe ho? Dood hi hai… Pee lo….

Aryan: (Mumbled) Dood? 😒

The others looked at each other and suppressed their smiles…. They all knew…. Aryan hated milk…. Give him loads of coffee; he would drink without any complaint…. But for milk he would run thousand miles…. 😃

Dipika: Sister… Ye dood???

Nurse: Oh… Ye… Doctor ke orders hain… Kal inki regular diet shuru hone waali hai naa… Isliye aaj to inhe bhooka nahi rakh sakte… Isliye sirf dood hai aaj raat ke liye… Waise bhi do maheene se kuch khaya peeya nahi hai to inke digestive system ko normal me aane ke liye ye ek start hai… Lijiye….(Sternly)

Aryan still looked sorrily at the milk… No he didn't want it… 😭 😉 He looked at the others wondering if they would help… But no… 😕 They all stood away from him just watching…. With great effort he took the glass and gulped it down…. 😃

Nurse: Hai Nanak ji… Yahan ke bacchhe bhi is dood ko peene me itni pareshaan nahi karte….. 😉

Shaking her head she gave him the medicines… Aryan hated medicines too… More than milk… 🤢 With even more great effort he swallowed the medicines the nurse gave him…. Seeing his face expression the team was doing great efforts to suppress their laughter…. 😆

The nurse took the tray and started to leave the room… Before going she turned back and said….

Nurse: Now everybody out! 😳

Everyone solemnly nodded…. 😊

Just before the nurse could leave Neha called out to her….

Neha: Lovely ji… Aapne bataya nahi ki Ajay kya?

Nurse: (Looking at Ajay) Ye…. Ladka hai ke Bandar!?!

Neha: (Shokced) Ji?!?!?! 😲

Nurse: Baap re… Jab bhi yahan rukta hai to mera dimaag khata hai… Ye hai vo hai… Khud to sota nahi…. Aur mujhe bhi apni duty nahi karne deta… Kuch naa kuch bak bak karta reheat hai… Badmaash! 😉

Saying this she left the room…. But she had a loving smile on her face….. It was just that Ajay was up to his usual gaming tactics… And Lovely ji reminded him of his mother… So he would joke with her… She liked it too, but sometimes because of him she would almost forget her rounds…. 😳

Immediately the room burst was full of laughter….. 🤣

Boxer grinning came up to Ajay and putting his hand around her shoulder said….

Boxer: Kya baat hai maamu? Lovely ji se bhi?!?!? 😆

Ajay: Are Boxer… Kuch nahi? Vo to yoheen mazaak… 😉

He stopped seeing the look on Neha's face…. Oh... No…. Lovely ji had put him in trouble…

Neha: Apne harkaton se baaz nahi aaoge naa? 😡

Saying this she walked off in huff towards Aryan….

Ajay: Are Neha… Vo to sirf mazaak me…

He followed Neha making a sorry face….

Seeing them fight like Tom and Jerry Aryan thought… What had changed in this month he didn't know? But he definitely these two didn't change…. 😆

Neha: (Smiling down at Aryan) Aryan… Main chalti hoon… Bahut der ho chuki hai… Kal aaongi…. Good night!

She bent down and gave him a kiss on his cheeks... Straightening she stared at Ajay and left the room in a huff… On the way to Dipika…

Neha: Main car ke paas wait karti hoon….

Dipika nodded….

Ajay looked pleading at Aryan who only could grin…. 😃

Ajay: Aryan… Main abhi aaya haan… Ek minute….

Saying this Ajay followed Neha outside trying to pacify her….

Aryan smiled at him but wondered why Ajay had said he would come back? Wasn't he going home? And Neha had said she would wait for Dipika! Why? 🤔

The others laughed at the duo couple…. After a while…..

Shotgun: Aryan hum bhi chalte hain… Take care…. Chalein Zubin….

Aryan nodded to them….

Zubin: Good night Aryan! 😊

Shotgun and Zubin said good night to Boxer, Dipika and left too…. Seeing that he was alone with Dipika and Aryan Boxer felt awkward… Before Dipika could say anything, he went to Aryan….

Boxer: Get well soon Aryan….

Aryan smiled at him… How much ever Boxer seemed tough from outside he was as much very soft in…. 😳

Boxer: Main chalta hoon… Aaj raat Ajay ka turn hai… Shayad vo bhool naa jaye is chakkar me… Main use bhejhta hoon….

Aryan looked confused at Boxer and asked…

Aryan: Boxer…. Ajay ka turn? Matlab…. 😳

Boxer bit his tongue… 😵 He looked once at Dipika and wondered whether he had spilled the beans… But then this wasn't such a big matter… Aryan would anyways come to know of this when he saw him or Ajay staying with him for the night…. Dipika just gave a slight nod to go on with what he wanted to say…. 😊

Aryan noticed this too… What was happening to his team? For each and every matter it seemed they were taking Dipika's permission…. 🤔

Boxer: (Looking at Aryan hesitantly) Vo… Har raat main ya Ajay tumhare saath raat ko rukte hain… Tumhare paas… Dipika ka idea tha…. (Smiling) Main chalta hoon… 😊

Saying this Boxer fled from the room….

Seeing him go Dipika looked back and saw Aryan looking at her… ☺️

Vo ki hai... If you remember my FF many parts before... I would have mentioned is places that all these together are going to make the team more faithful towards Dipika... Even more than Aryan in certain places... Welll It is like this time now where they have to not to listen to Aryan for his own good😛

Aryan and Dipika kept looking at each other for some time…. 😍

Then realizing her state Dipika gave a start and made a move towards Aryan….. Approaching Aryan she smiled wanly…. 😊

Aryan: So?!?! 😉

Dipika: (Contracting her eyebrows) So kya?

Aryan: Nai…. Lagta hai office me kayi changes ho gaye hain….

Dipika: (Innocently 🤔 ) Changes? Nahi to… Sab kuch waise ka waisa hi hai…. Waise bhi tum kab office aaye ye poochne ke liye….

Aryan: Oh… Come on Dipika… Tum acchhi tarah jaanti ho ki main kiske baare me baat kar raha hoon… Special Squad office ki nahi…. Wahan ke officers ki…..

Dipika turned her head a little to suppress her smile…. Immediately turning back….

Dipika: Aryan… Such me tum kya keh rahe ho mujhe nahi pata….

Aryan: Oh… Reeeeaaaaaallllllly?!?!? 😆

Dipika just nodding said….

Dipika: Unhunh…. 😉

Aryan: Oh... Please.... Dipika…. Sab log baat baat par tumhari….

Aryan stopped himself in time from saying anything….. Seeing her he knew she knew what he was saying…. But saying it explicitly… He didn't want to….

Dipika: (Crossing her arms) Meri kya Aryan?!?! 😉

She very well understood what he wanted to say…. He had noticed his team looking at her for permission….. And Aryan was stunned at such a difference in them….. 😔

Aryan looked elsewhere and taking a deep breath said…..

Aryan: Chodo…. Kya fayda?

Dipika: (Smiling) Aryan…. Agar kuch poochne chahate ho to directly pooch do naa… Tum kabhi nahi badloge….. Sab tumhari bhalayi ke liye hi kaha jaa raha hai…. Bacchhon jaise behave karna band karo…. Now I think you must go to sleep…. Der ho gayi hai…. 😊

Looking back at her Aryan saw the genuinity in her eyes and felt the genuinity in her voice…. He knew what they did was for him, but still he hated hospitals, medicines….. 🤢

Oh… How he wanted to escape from there….. He thought "Well!!! Escape?!?!? 🤔 That's a good idea…. Hmm… Maybe he should try getting away…. But then if the hospital staff saw him? How about the pipe?" 😆

Smiling to himself he asked Dipika…..

Aryan: I know…. Waise Special Squad kaisa hai?

What should she say? ❓ How much could she say? Special Squad…. Empty without him…. She…. Er… Everyone missed him a lot… Even though they followed a routine there was some hole in that which they had known not how to fill….. 😒

Dipika: (Softly)Special Squad is fine Aryan…. Lekin tumhari raah dekh raha hai….

Aryan smiled at this…. "Raah?!?!"…. 😉 Of course he too missed his office…. It was unbelievable that for two months he was away from Special Squad…. Two whole months!!!!!!! But then who had solved cases in his absence…. There was no presiding chief in his absence… Last time to atleast…. He stopped…. Thinking of her brought pain in him….. 🥺

Aryan: Waise Dipika do maheene se cases koun handle kar raha hai?

Dipika looked at him stunned "Do maheene"?!?! How did he know that he has been here for two months? None of them had said anything to him…. 😲

Dipika: Aryan tumhe kaise pata…. 🤓

Aryan: (Grinning) ….. ki main yahan do maheene se hoon? Dipika main Special Squad ka officer hoon…. Bed me hoon to iska matlab ye nahi ki mera sunana aur dekhna dull ho gaya…. Jab vo nurse aayi thi medicines dene tab usne baaton baaton me kaha tha naa… 👍🏼

Of course…. Dipika remembered that Lovely had said "Do maheene se dekh rahi hoon!"… Well now she was in trouble… How is she to tell him about Vishal? She didn't want him to get excited unnecessarily…. Especially when she felt Vishal and Aryan knew each other….. 😕

Dipika: Vo…. Um…. 😵

Just then the door opened and Lovely entered the room.... Dipika looked at her and let out a breath of relief…. She was saved from answering… Lovely came in smiling looking at Dipika….. 😊

Lovely: Are Dipika…. Aap abhi tak yaheen hain? ❓

Lovely went up to her desk in Aryan's room…

Dipika: Ji… Abhi nikalne waali thi….

Lovely: (Coming up to her) Poochna chahati thi… Kal inke khaane ka intezaam hospital se karni hai ya….

Dipika: (Interrupting) Nai… Nai…. Main la doongi…

Hearing this Aryan was surprised and pleased….. 😳 But he didn't want to trouble Dipika unnecessarily…..

Aryan: Dipika… Its okay…. Hospital se hi khaanaa….

Dipika: Its no trouble Aryan…. Its perfectly okay… Saath kaam karte hain to itna to kar hi sakti hoon….. 😉

Aryan: Phir bhi Dipika… Its fine…. Nurse hain naa… Hospital se….

Dipika looked at him hard and said sternly….. 😳

Dipika: Aryan! Maine kaha ki main laaongi to laoongi…. Fine? (Softening her voice) Main chalti hoon... Take care…. Bye… Good night!

Aryan stunned looked at her…. She was ordering him here too! But then…. 😳

He just looked at her and mumbled a "Good night!"….. 😒

Dipika smiled and started moving towards the door… But until she left the room she kept turning back to have a look at Aryan… 😳 Aryan lying just watched her…. 😉 She came near the door but didn't realize it… She was just about to dash against it when she in time composed herself…. Embarrassed she turned back last once gave Aryan a glance and left the room smiling….☺️

Seeing Dipika go Aryan smiled to himself…

Also he had noticed the hesitation in Dipika when he had asked the question about Special Squad… He wondered…. Why was everyone so secretive about Special Squad? ❓ They had refrained from giving any news about Special Squad…. Why??? 🤔 Maybe he could get some information from Ajay when he gets back after pacifying Neha….. 😉

He felt dizzy…. He yawned once….. Maybe the medicine was making him sleepy….

As he was wondering what the problem was he heard Lovely nurse telling something….

Lovely: ….. acchhi hai!

Aryan: (Looking at Lovely at her place) Ji…. Kuch kaha aapne?

Lovely: Main ye keh rahi thi ki vo Dipika bahut acchhi hai… Raat raat der tak yahan rukti thi….Subah suraj ugta tha ya nahi vo yahan aa jaati thi…. ⭐️ Bahut phikar hai use tumhari…. Maine ye bhi suna ki tumhare liye pooja bhi rakvaya tha…. Tumhare baaki doston ko bhi bada fikar tha tumhara…. 👏

Saying this the nurse went back to checking her file….

Aryan was surprised at what the nurse said….. He was really lucky to have them as his friends…. He knew…. But hearing about Dipika surprised him the most…. He wondered! 😳

Just then the door opened and Ajay entered….

Aryan: Ajay….

Ajay came up to his bed and sitting beside him sighed….

Ajay: Ye ladkiyaan bhi naa…. Aise kaho to waise pakad lete… Waise kaho to aise… Haila…. Pata nahi kaise uske saath zindagi bhar sambhaalne waala hoon…. 😆

Aryan: (Grinning 😃 ) Kya baat hai? Maan gayi ya nahi?

Ajay: (Lifting his collar) Are koun gaya manane… Ajay… Ajay Desai…. Maan gayi naa…. Lekin had to promise

Trying to catch him off guard Aryan controlling his yawning asked….

Aryan: (Carefully) Waise Ajay…. Special Squad ka cases koun handle kar raha hai? ❓

Ajay:Of course... Vi....

Ajay was just about to answer Aryan's question but stopped in time.... Seeing him starting and then stopping Aryan raised his eyebrows suspiciously 😈

He looked at Aryan weirdly…. Oh… No… He was at stake…. Dipika had forbidden then to tell Aryan anything… But then with him asking how was he to manage it…. He got up and went to the head of his head where Aryan couldn't see him…. He hit his head twice thrice chiding that how would he handle Aryan now?

Ajay: Vo… Er… Vo… Aryan light off kar doon… Tumhe neend aa rahi hogi naa…. 😒

Aryan: Aj… (Yawn)… ay…. Meri…. (Yawn) …neend baad me….. Pehle Special Squad ke baare me batao…. (Yawn) Dipika ne mana kiya? Tum lgo Dipika ki baat (Yawn)... kab se manane🥱

Ajay bit his lip and looked around helplessly… 😔 Maybe he should say yes and put the responsibility on Dipika…. Agar aunty ka naam kaha to Aryan would stay put…. 😕

Ajay said standing from his place….

Ajay: Haan Aryan… Vo Dipika ne mana kiya hai…. Vo…

Lovely: (Called out softly) Oie… Bandar…. 😆 Kis se baatein kar rahe ho? Bandar ho hi ab pagal bhi ban gaye kya? Aryan kab ka so gaya…. 😃

Ajay looked at her stunned… 😲 He came back to the bed to look at Aryan…. Involuntarily a smile formed in his lips…. He smoothed his hand over Aryan's forehead and sighed happily…. 😛 His buddy was back… His friend.…. His best friend was safe and sound…. He went to the foot of the bed and pulled up the bed sheet.... Then he went to the sofa and sat down looking at Aryan sleeping peacefully….. 🥱
