As our dear officer Trupti wanted, I am giving the synopsis of the SS2 FF here…. If I have forgotten anything to add, please do so…😊
Now because of Trupti I am having a good time recollecting all my past memories of this FF…. I think it would be useful for other officers as well! 😳
So it happens this way…. SS2 FF starts from where the real series of Special Squad got over….
In Anna Kartoos case, Aryan is shot and he falls down with the whole team around him with the exception of Zubin and Neha… The witness Ganesh whom they save is also with them in that jungle….
Happens that Aryan is shot and falls down…. The whole team is beside him crying… Dipika who was near to him, holding his hands in deep grief bangs on his chest… The shock revives Aryan…. The team feels his pulse and finds out that he is still alive, very feeble…😛
They immediately do some first aid and take him to a nearest hospital… There they treat him a little… In the process the strict Dipika breaks about a thousand rules but cares less about them when Aryan's life is in stake…. For higher treatment he is taken to Appollo Hospital, Nasik….
There the doctors treat him… The dean of the hospital Catherine D' Souza is Dipika's friend…. She treats Aryan but no positive answer is given… Aryan is still in danger….😭
Dipika gets a call from the Commissioner that Ganesh's life is still in danger as the sting operation against Anna Kartoos is still on… So Dipika tells Boxer to take Ganesh to Mumbai and hand over him to the Commissioner… Also the media or Anna Kartoos gang are not aware that Anna Kartoos, that lady is dead…. 🤢
All this makes her very depressed and worried…. Praying for Aryan's life she goes to a temple near by… There hearing Aryan's name aloud one of Anna Kartoos's men in disguise, decide to take on Aryan as per previous instructions from Anna Kartoos…. The main man, right hand on Anna Kartoos is hiding in the hospital staff quarters of one of the hospital ward boy…. So taking inside help from the ward boy, they make a plan to murder Aryan that night in the hospital… 😲
Cathy, Dipika's long time child hood friend helps the SS team relax by taking her to her house near by the hospital…. At this time of crisis is when Neha and Ajay come a little closer after months of their tiff… The same night two of Anna Kartoos's men as per instructions from Anna Kartoos's right hand man decide to inject a brain death poison to give him a slow death… They first pull out all his life saving machines and are just about to inject the medicine…. But fortunately for him the night duty nurse surprises them and manages to save Aryan in the nick of the time by ringing the emergency alarm…
The whole hospital is in wake and the SS team also comes in at the exact moment and finally capture the Anna Kartoos men… Aryan's life is saved but he slips into coma….
Upon interrogating the men they come to know about the main man hiding in staff quarters… SS team and the local police design a sting operation and finally manage to capture the man… And from him taking all the information the whole Anna Kartoos gang is wrapped up!
Mumbai…
Aryan is shifted to Mumbai's branch of Appollo Hospitals as the team had to report back to work….
The whole team feels dull about going to work but remembering Aryan's dedication and commitment decides not to disappoint him and go to work…. Every night Boxer and Ajay taker turns in been with Aryan… Even though he was in coma, the team felt safe when someone was there with him…. Regularly mornings and evenings Dipika and the rest of the team visited him… Just a look at him gave solace!
Special Squad is a government organization…. Aryan Khanna was a dedicated Chief… So the organization has to be kept running… So as per special instructions and special permission… A Mr. Vishal Malhotra is appointed as the temporary chief of Special Squad until another permanent arrangement is not made… Or the team prayed Aryan gets well soon…
Vishal Malhotra… A name the police department had never heard till then… A name which never existed in the records of police… Because from the date he had become a police officer, he always worked under cover… He was never in his original form… Always working in sting operations… As per rules he has been working long under cover and the department decides to give him a permanent identity… He might not be involved in sting operations as often as he did… So in the intermediary break he takes over Special Squad…. ⭐️
Oh how the team loathed him… Tall… Handsome… An eligible, able bachelor…. Arrogant…. Self centered…. Disrespectful…. Damn damn annoying… He had done his homework… So knew everything about the present team of Special Squad…. But the main thing the team hated about him was he always… Always taunted Aryan… In every small and big talks he taunted Aryan… And the team were surprised to find he knew so much about Aryan…. Even personally…. They kept on wondering how!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🤔
He made the team call him 'sir'…. He loathed them too… Taunting each and every of their work and talk, he made them realize how they had never taken Dipika's words seriously…. Always fooling her and not believing in her… And this time of crisis made the team come closer to Dipika and one another….
But what stunned Vishal Malhotra, the Great as he called himself…. Was Dipika…. 😳 He had never had much respect for any women… After all women were women… And his view was they never could do much than take orders…. But Dipika Gosh…. She was different…. At this time of the crisis where the whole team was missing Aryan, where Special Squad had to prove its stand without Aryan… She was calm… Composed…. And was the main reason the team worked so hard even without Aryan!
She attracted him…. She made him calm down in his arrogance without her realizing… Because she hated him as much as her team, because he always taunted Aryan and behaved like a spoilt brat….
Cases came in… Cases got solved…. The team was impressed with Vishal Malhotra… They became less hostile towards him… But still kept their distance…
Vishal Malhotra fell in love with Dipika…. The more he had tried to stop his feeling they erupted in him… But he knew… She loved only Aryan… He was aware of this even before coming to Special Squad… But love is love… The more you suppress it, double the force it comes out….
During these times…. Shuffling between hospital and work, Dipika came to realize how much she loved Aryan… How much she missed him… Whenever he was around they fought…. They looked at each only sternly…. But now she missed him so much…. She and Neha have a heart out talk with each other and Dipika confesses her love for Aryan… But she also voices her doubt about Aryan… What plan he had about his future? Because his past was bitter… And who knows whether he was able to get over Niharika and Shaina! Neha assured her that Aryan had to move on in life and his past was not going to intervene again…. But only time could tell! So Dipika waited!
Vishal Malhotra brought with him to the Special Squad office his assistant Haseena Iqbal… Who was the only one who knew about his real identity and all his sting operations… Vishal's confidant… Daughter of a retired military officer… So faith was all he had on her…. As arrogant as Vishal was, Haseena too was just as self centered…. But a little less than him…
Her days in Special Squad made her come closer to Abbas Ali Baig aka our Boxer….☺️ Love was in the air… But because of Boxer's dark past he wasn't sure whether their relationship would be accepted by Haseena's parents… But Haseena's family was a broad minded one… A nation serving family… Haseena's father retired Military officer… Mother house wife… Brother in customs…. Bhabhi a lawyer…. Haseena herself was a lawyer but had not practiced because she might have to go against her bhabhi in cases… So she ended up doing a more patriotic work by assisting Vishal in his sting operations! On the sacred occasion of Eid Haseena's and Boxer's marriage was fixed… But none of the team knew it, because Boxer wanted his marriage to happen only after Aryan regained consciousness… Haseena's parents were skeptical about it because they were not sure when Aryan would come back from coma…. Boxer asked for time and they gave him few months!
Somewhere down the line solving cases and been together Dipika came to know more about Vishal… He was not so bad a guy after all… Just that he was been arrogant because in his profession he could not afford to any sort of commitment…. May it be any relationship or friendship…. But Dipika was different, despite his efforts to be away from her he felt himself dragged to her… He became a great support to her professionally and personally...... Dipika started considering him as a good friend… And Vishal too reciprocated her friendship with a slight guilt… Because he still loved her!
Dipika arranged for a special Pooja on Aryan's name during Navratri time… And during this time was when Zubin met his love… Purvi… Or rather she met him and he was lost in her thoughts for months… As she had come like a wind and disappeared like that so….🥺
On day Neha comes to know about a shocking truth…. Dipika's daughter! 😲 Unbelievingly…. Neha was upset and angry with her… But when Dipika explained the reason behind hiding the truth she understood and gave the assurance that she was always with her… Apart from Neha, Vishal, Dipika's best friend was the only one who knew Dipika had a daughter!
God answered the SS team's prayers…. Within months Aryan regained consciousness from coma… A time the whole team rejoiced and celebrated….. But he was still suggested to be in hospital because he had to recover fully from coma…. And this was the time when the whole team came to know how Vishal knew so much personal about Aryan… Even Dipika came to know only then, when Vishal's mother came to visit Aryan…. Vishal's father and Aryan's father were cousins…. A family feud had separated them, but Aryan's mother and Vishal's mother were always in best terms… And after Aryan's parents death Vishal's mother always kept tag on Aryan without his knowledge… Because Vishal's father still didn't forget the rift…. Also Aryan and Vishal went to the same college in Mumbai… Vishal been one year senior to Aryan!
When Aryan was discharged from hospital Vishal's mother, his Maasi Maa took him home with her…. She took care of him, recovering him from his illness…. And these moments were when Aryan came closer to Dipika… Seeing her open concern about him, he started to realize Dipika loved him!
But… But… He never could accept her love…. There was a fear in him…. Fear about relations… Because he felt that he was not capable of handling relationships… As any one around him were always into danger… And he lost them always.... Tend to put them in danger..... Niharika, Pallavi, Shaina, Neha.... So he maintained his distance from Dipika, even though he knew she liked him… He blindly refused to even agree to himself that he loved her…. Seeing him maintain the distance Dipika was confused and upset… But she never had the courage to tell him about her love as she didn't want to see him upset and confused about their relationship… She could never hurt him… Physically or mentally!
This was clearly seen by their team…. And with Vishal as head they made various small small stints to get them together… To make them outwardly recognize their feelings…. And a little it worked… But more it didn't! And finally after Aryan had regained consciousness Vishal could overcome his feelings for Dipika… He could make his heart understand that she was for him and he for her…. So he decided to maintain the pure relationship of friendship between them!
Diwali… A night of lights…. The whole team assembles at Vishal's guest house to celebrate Diwali…. And this night Dipika comes to know that Vishal loved her hearing him talk to his mother… She is shocked by his betrayal of not telling her about his true feelings… But then reveals that she was all along aware that Vishal loved her… But he was fighting with his feelings equally keeping their friendship in front seat… She was a woman and women have a knack of finding out the motive behind a guy's relationship with them…. She trusted him that he no more loved her and considered her as his best friend only…. He was relieved!
In the mean while Boxer and Haseena's marriage took place… Zubin was in dream land about his unknown angel… Shotgun's mother Mrs. Chatterjee talked to Aryan about Shotgun's lost love Cynthia!
Months rolled by and finally the day came when Aryan was re instated as Special Squad's chief and Vishal left for another sting operation!
Aryan became less aggressive in his work…. Abiding by rules and a little cooler with work tension… He had also started to take less of coffee because during his stay at the hospital the doctor had diagnosed him with ulcer and strictly told him to avoid coffee… Especially black… And since Dipika was always there to watch over him he reduced his coffee stints to two per day only… The only reason he became cooler and less aggressive was Dipika… He knew she loved him, but he could never accept another relationship with fear of putting them in danger again…. Thinking about his lost family…. He knew he hurt her thus but all was for her well being… Seeing her safe and sound…. The only thing he could do for her!
Valentine's Day… A wonderful day…. Loveable day…. It might have been a day when the hearts could have joined…. But alas… It didn't happen… The confusion still lived but in a different way…. There came a moment of closeness between Aryan and Dipika, when he might have told her he loved her… But that closeness made him nervous reminding him of his bizarre past giving him a literal headache… And in that moment of pain he blurted out Shaina's name… It was in confusion when he remembered everyone of his past but not able to bear the headache he had blurted out her name…. Dipika's heart crushed beneath all her dreams…. Her dreams floating like a ghost on top of them! She thought he still loved Shaina which was why he neglected her!😭
Sweet news was rolling in Special Squad…. Boxer was going to be father soon… Haseena was three months pregnant…. Ajay and Neha's engagement was over as a small affair…😛
But the love pair was still in confusion….
Dipika now knew, or thought she knew why Aryan kept neglecting her…. Why he wanted to be away from here… She decided she would not show her affection outwardly anymore if he didn't want to… When he loved someone else what more was there for her to do… Just when she had decided this Dipika had an accident and got her hand fractured…. She had to be in slings for a month or so… Since she cannot be alone Neha took her home with her…. Until her hands became alright…. Because her hand was in sling Dipika was not comfortable wearing suits and she had to opt for wearing modern dresses… Skirts…. Mostly… And Aryan was awed seeing her in modernized clothes… He came closer to her during those days, been there always…. Visiting her after office hours… Calling her up asking her well being… Taking her to the hospital for regular check ups.... He knew then that when she was around in office he got to see her everyday… But now when she didn't come to office he missed her terribly…. He then knew, he finally agreed to himself that he loved her…. And he could not live without her… And he decided, rather stubbornly that this time, he would definitely be around to save his relation! He had made the mistake in his past and would never do it again!😳
But it was too late…. Dipika had decided not to tell him about his love, because he would definitely get hurt for having borne that feeling in her…. And now she didn't much show much of her affection making him wonder why? How much it pained her to neglect him only she knew…. Because she loved him more than ever now…. And Aryan was as always confused not knowing whether to tell her his love or not!
They remained silent about their feelings, but still loved each other more than themselves!
And thus they moved away from each other again, due to a reason of confusion which was not real at all!😕
This was the time when Special Squad had to prove its credibility beyond par…. It was assigned work with the CBI to wrap a dangerous group of drug dealers, who were weakening the country's youth like termites... Special Squad was solving a double death case due to drug overdose when this opportunity comes… Special Squad and CBI were two different directions never to see each other… But they had to because the Commissioner had ordered…. Dipika also requested him to relive her off the duty of been in charge of Special Squad… Because Aryan was back in his form…. So Aryan was Chief of Special Squad and Dipika remained the Forensics Head… But still controlled the team because they wanted her to come closer to Aryan!😳
Francis Ashokraj Expedite… A gawky, stupid, cool cucumber, irritating, intelligent, sharp minded CBI officer…. On special duty with Special Squad to handle the drug scheming activities….. Oh he was damn damn irritating and the SS team hated him… But girls liked him… A very very very high profiled flirt…. He was coooool and he had a terrible fashion sense which the girls adored… Except Dipika…. He headed the CBI and Special Squad combined force to track the drug deals…. It was very high profile case involving many ministers and high class business people!😆
She loves playing cricket with the children of the neighborhood and breaking window glasses due to her sixes…. She loves dancing and is very popular amongst her friends…. Sandy…. Toofan Mail!😉
As part of the drug mission, a false income tax raid is arranged in a business man, Mr. Chopra's house…. Aryan goes for a simultaneous raid to a minister's house…. Dipika and Neha accompany Francis to Chopra Residence….
Mr. Chopra gets his brother's son to hide some stuff in Sandy's house without her knowledge which the CBI sniffs out… They go to arrest her but she is proved innocent by Chopra's brother's son accepting that he had kept the drug bag in her house…. Mr. Chopra is arrested… Francis who was in charge of the raid behaves rudely with Sandy which pisses her off… And she literally fights with him for having dared arrest her!😡
And during this fight she reveals to Dipika who had assisted Francis on the raid that she likes Special Squad's working and appreciates their on duty staff like Vishal Malhotra…. Dipika, Neha and Francis are surprised by this revelation that Sandy is following the activities of Special Squad so close…. Francis is also surprised because he is in fact Dipika's best friend Vishal in disguise…. 😉 In disguise just for the drug case… A silent lead! Initially even though Dipika was not aware of this, she finally finds out about his real identity… How could she not have known!?!? A best friend knows her best friend anywhere, anytime, anyhow!👏
Holi Hai…. Aaya re aaya… Holi ka din….
Zubin finally gets to meet his dream girl… Purvi…. Zubin's uncle who expired few months ago had actually seen Purvi for Zubin… She was from the same town Zubin's uncle lived in… He had talked to her family about Zubin…. But never got around to tell it to him… After his demise Purvi's mother who had waited for Zubin and didn't see him coming to ask about Pruvi decides to marry off Purvi to another guy..... But Purvi who had heard about Zubin wanted him as his life partner…. She had come to Mumbai on various occasions just to have glimpse of him…. Zubin decides to go to meet Purvi's mother and convincing her relatives marries her there!
The team was still investigating the Liquid Ecstasy drug case when a boy is admitted in the hospital for drug overdose…. He is in a very critical situation but gets saved by the Chief Doctor of the Appollo Hospital…. Because the doctor is a specialist in drug cases!⭐️
Imagine the surprise of Dipika and Francis aka Vishal when they finally meet the Chief Doctor…. Dr. Sandhya Agarwal… A London return…. Specialist in drug… Gynec by profession… A leading doctor in charge of the Appollo Hospitals after the D'Souzas…. It was none other that Sandy aka Toofan mail who liked Vishal very much and irritated Francis!😳
Sandhya helps the Special Squad team to wrap up the drug mission…. And in the process she reveals to Dipika that she knows Vishal Malhotra from more than six months…. Last year, even before he had joined Special Squad he had saved her from a crisis… Saved her life and respect… She had been indebted to him since then, because she didn't get a proper chance to even tell him thanks…. But when ever she came across Francis she fought with him irritating him and praising Vishal at the same time not aware that both were same…. Vishal was impressed and surprised with such a character like Sandhya Agarwal… He started to like her…. Dipika didn't fail to notice the difference in her friend's attitude towards Sandhya and decided Sandhya was best for him!😛
Vishal resisted Sandhya's attraction towards him because he cared for Dipika first… When Dipika had told him about Aryan's real reason for neglecting her he had got angry… But had not said anything for her sake… If he loved someone else why show open affection towards her making her yearn for him!😡
During the final step in the drug mission the whole team had broken about a dozen more rules upsetting Dipika… So cool her down they decide to give her a sweet surprise by going over to her house in the middle of the night to celebrate her birthday…. The best birthday of her life when the whole team was assembled at her home! Even Aryan….😳
The same evening the Special Squad team decides to have a triple celebration… Dipika's birthday…. Zubin Purvi's reception…. And to celebrate Neha and Ajay's marriage… Yes their marriage date was fixed just the day before!👏
That evening started out with a triple celebration…. Cutting three cakes…. Singing three different types of songs…. And also Sandhya was most welcome to the party… Courtesy Dipika…. 😉 Sandhya who had started out with liking Vishal came to the conclusion she loved him…. But his hostile nature towards her confused her…. She decided maybe Vishal wasn't interested and was about to call it quits when Dipika tells Sandhya about her and Vishal's relation… How indeed Vishal liked Sandhya but for her (Dipika's) sake, his best friend's sake… To see Dipika settled was his aim and he wasn't interested in his own life…. Sandhya then and there decided and promised Dipika that Vishal was going to be her life partner…. Come what may she was going to win him from him for him….😈
That evening though started out with triple celebration actually ended with a fourth one…. Cynthia… Shotgun's long lost love… As Aryan had promised Shotgun's mother he had tracked down Cynthia's whereabouts…. He definitely couldn't go outwards and talk to an unknown girl about her love life… So he sorted out Dipika's help in this matter… Dipika made contacts with Cynthia through a fortunate common friend as if taking for the drug case and talked with her in casual terms… Then later revealed about Shotgun and Cynthia had started to think about her long lost love…. As it was she too missed Shotgun very much… She came down to India to meet him, to reinstate her love… Seeing Cynthia Shotgun's life was in cloud nine and Mrs. Chatterjee too accepted their love… She had never wanted Shotgun to be away from his love, just wanted him to be with her in India! 😳
But that night unknowingly was the reason for another celebration…. All the confusions cleared between Aryan and Dipika…. There was duet dance at the end of the celebration night where all the love couples were dancing… Seeing them all her past feelings and pressure erupted in Dipika's heart and tears rolling she left the hall… Seeing her go thus, Aryan and Vishal became upset…. Vishal knew the reason but Aryan didn't… He wanted to console her and tried following her but Vishal stopped him and confronted him… Only then did Aryan reveal that he loved only Dipika and that day he had blurted out names which were just swarming in his mind…. Nothing specific…. Hearing this Vishal tells him clearly that he was thinking he was preventing from hurting Dipika by neglecting her love… But in fact he was hurting her more that way rather than accepting her love!
On the ride back home Vishal revealed Aryan's true sense of feelings to Dipika and gifted a photograph… Her and Aryan's close Valentine's Day dance…. Dipika's happiness knew no bounds when she comes to know about Aryan's true feelings…. ☺️
No more confusions…. No more hesitations…. No more secrets…. Everything was crystal clear…. In Special Squad….
In these months that rolled by Aryan and Dipika had come closer and closer but still hadn't told each other their feelings… But they knew their heart talked…. 😳
Dipika was on leave…. She hadn't said anything to anyone except Neha…. During a murder case when Aryan interrogated a taxi driver, he found out from his taxi ride entries that Dipika had left for Pune that evening… But she hadn't mentioned about that to anyone…. And he was surprised to see the address against which Dipika had signed… She had shifted house but she hadn't said anything about that too… So much happened around her and he wasn't aware of that…. He felt upset that he was not close enough to her to know about her actions….😉
Two days later he came to know from Ajay that Dipika was back in city…. For those days Aryan had felt so much uneasy and wanted answers for all those questions he had in his mind… He decided to meet her that evening… In fact he had actually missed her very much in those two days when he hadn't even talked to her! He drove up to her house…. And him instead of surprising her which she did get surprised he received a shock, when he saw a small girl of six years old… Exactly Pallavi's age if she would have been alive, open the door… And when he later learnt she was Dipika's daughter…. Aryan was stumped… He didn't know how or what to react to it… But seeing Dipika safe and sound gave him relaxation…😲
Vishal was back again to Special Squad on special duty as Vishal Malhotra… It was now a known fact that Vishal and Aryan taunted each other on every matter… And the main reason being Dipika…. Vishal was closer to her… Talked to her more freely… Somewhere or the other Aryan did feel a little jealous about this!😃
Special Squad solved the high profile minister's death case and Aryan was attracted by little Sri… He never tried to learn about Srishti's Gosh's identity… Because he trusted Dipika… If she had decided to hide something, then it would definitely be for a good reason he knew…. And those days he started to visit Dipika daily after office hours…. Reason Sri… He liked her very very very very much… She reminded him so much of his daughter… And when Sri was in hospital down with pneumonia he was the one to suffer more next to Dipika… Whole of Special Squad knew Dipika had a daughter, but no one questioned her about Sri's father…. Sri and Aryan had come very closer to each other these holidays and Dipika was happy to see Sri like Aryan! And Vishal used Sri to get Dipika and Aryan closer! 🤪Sri acted as a love guru between her Mommy and Aryan uncle! 😆
On the other hand this was the time when Dipika and Vishal's mother along with Sandhya schemed plans to make Vishal accept Sandhya's love… But he always ran away from her… Dipika knew he liked Sandhya, in fact loved her before… But was as confused as Sandhya herself as to why he was denying that he never had or will have any feelings for her…. Before Dipika was the reason... But now her life was sorted out then why still was he denying Sandhya?!!?? Dipika and Sandhya knew Vishal was hiding something from them… The genuine reason he was holding back from Sandhya… And Sandhya who was as stubborn as him had determined to know the reason and make him accept her love!
Outside home Dipika and Sandhya cooked up various occasions to get Sandhya be around Vishal…. And at home Vishal's mom always called Sandhya home making her be around on purpose…. Vishal knew the ladies were doing this on purpose but he knew that if he retorted they would ask for a reason and he couldn't tell lies to them! The best he could do was ignore their tactics which he was doing till date!😕
Sri was staying in Pune with her Naani, Dipika's mother and studied in the same school in which Dipika's mother was the principal… Sri and Dipika's mother had come to Mumbai to stay with Dipika for the summer leave… And have gone back to Pune because school had reopened…. Before Sri left to Pune Sri had become upset about not having a father… Because she had seen a fatherly figure in Aryan and missed the relationship of a father very much…. Dipika talked to her about Aryan… Whether she would like to accept him as her father and Sri was more than happy about that… Sri had jumped at the idea and wanted so much to call Aryan then and there Pappa… But Dipika had to sustain her telling that she can call him that, when the time comes…. And that instant Dipika knew that if ever Sri would have a father, it would be Aryan! And only Aryan!😛
Just before Neha and Ajay's marriage there was a slight misunderstanding between them… Again because of Geethanjali…. But all was sorted out…. And it became the main reason Neha got to see her mother Mrs. Naik again! Even though Neha was still angry on her father this rift between her and Ajay made her realize her mother's stand in life and she forgave her mother! 😳
Now… Mumbai….
Ajay and Neha's marriage is going on in full swing with the whole team participating in the marriage as a family!🥳
This is the personal side of the FF… Professionally there were many cases the team solved and Special Squad's credibility had increased sky high in the past year! ⭐️
