Agni very nearly tells family what is relationship btwn her and alak/shagun but stops at last moment and changes her statement saying alak is like her saasu ma as she had done all the rites when agni had first entered this house.
Maganji arrives at shagun's inlaws, shagun n sumer are out to doctor's, fil asks about future of the child, maganji requires to see the kundali of both parents. mil doesnt have shagun's kundali and calls iravati to send it.
Alak worried about agni's revealing the secret and plans to tell ammaji that agni is vasun's sis but agni approaches her and clearly threatens alak not to reveal her secret and in return she will not reveal alak/shagun's secret.
Ira looking for kundali desperately in her room, finally find it under her mattress and relieved about it.
Ammaji ties a taveez on Alak's hand in front of kanhaiya after puja and prays for the long life of her bahu and grandchild...both in tears.
Alak wishes to send two jars of laddoo and pure ghee to shagun's place but ammaji refuses to send her due to her state so ammaji orders ira to take it. ira afraid of maganji's reading her face and finding whats in her heart makes some excuse and instead delegates to Agni...alak worried but agni reassures her that she will not forget her promise and will also send any messg to shagun if alak wishes to send. On the way out, ira hands over the kundali to agni telling her to give it to shagun's mil...agni curious but ira snubs her. while sitting in the car, the kundali drops from agni's hand to the ground and agni leaves without it.
