confused about shagun's sasu

Hey guys,

just a little confusion--i remember in the beginning when shagun came to the family the sassu was being outright mean to her 'yelling, saying bad things, making her do all the work, etc.etc.." but now seems like they changed it a little because although the saas is still being a witch but she is being a clever witch (being nice infront and being nice to shagun on her face but back stabbing)--

but i guess they did change the style of evilness--straight to her face or clever evil--(ha ha)

also notice the 180degree turn around of shagun's nand---my god---she was all mean in the beginning and she just lost all her evilness because of her little episode with her boyfriend...c'mon
