Ira sees Abhi and Meera in an embrace in the temple square completely oblivious to everybody else. She decides to rush home and tell everybody what she had seen. But then she controls herself and says that this is her trump card and she will use it accordingly when the moment comes.
Meera is sitting in front of the dresser in her room and thinking about ABhi and herself, with a smiling and shy face. She suddenly sees Abhi standing behind her. Abhi tells her that he had forgiven to give her something, he then bends down and kisses Meera on her cheek. Meera is surprised and she turns back to find that in reality Abhi was not there and she is dreaming. At that moment, Abhi enters the room and goes to where Meera is sitting. He tells Meera that he knows that she is thinking about him but requests her to share her thoughts with him. A bashful Meera runs away from her room and as she rushes towards the Puja room, she meets Suli and a few others who are surprised by Meera's sudden change. Raj tells Ira that he is happy to see Meera so contented and happy regarding her Mother's marriage. To this, Ira replies that Meera is happy cos she's in love with Abhi. Raj is surprised to hear this and wonders how Ira had managed to keep this truth to herself, a rare feat in itself. Ira replies that she had to keep it as a secret just like the secret that she has to maintain, which Ammaji had bestowed her with. Raj is confused.
Meera goes to the Puja room and tells Lord Krishna that suddenly everything in her life has changed because she is in love. She tried to understand how Shan and Alaka had managed to keep their feelings for each other on check for the past 20 years when Meera was finding it difficult to contain her feelings to herself only. Abhi also arrives there and asks Meera to accompany him somewhere. Meera tells him that they should somehow manage to arrange for a spot for Shan and Alaka to meet.
Meera forces Alaka to go with her to a temple, and Abhi does the same with Shan. Once both of them arrive in the temple, Meera requests her Mother to go and bring a Puja thali for the temple. Abhi asks Shan to get some flowers for the Puja. Abhi and Meera elaves the temple as Shan and Alaka goes to the same spot to make their purchases. They meet there and are very surprised to see each other there. Shan tells Alaka how Abhi had forced him to come to the temple and Alaka says likewise for Meera. They both realized that they had been set up. Shan tells Alaka that although Meera is a much matured person, yet sometimes she behaves like a child. Alaka nods in affirmative and goes away to the temple.
Once the Puja is over, Alaka comes out to find Shan waiting on the temple steps. The teo of them recount days of their past, and how they would end up fighting on the concept of children. Alaka believed the importance of children in a marriage, Shan thought that they were not necessary. But today he has learnt an important lesson and children are really their present. Alaka tells her the children are also their future and that they should be more worried about their children's future rather than their own future.
Abhi wants Meera to come with her. But Meera tells that she has to go and meet their Kulpurohit with the horoscopes of Alaka and Shan. She goes to the ashram to meet Kulpurihit but is met by Kulpurohit's guru who comments to Meera that if Meera wants to pursue her dream of getting her Mother re-married to Shan, she would very soon have to part with an important part of her life today. And that this sacrifice will play a havoc for her entire life. As guruji walks away, Kulpurohit comes. Meera tries to give him the horoscopes and tell what guruji had told her. But Kulpurohit stops her and says that if Guruji had said her something, then it should remain between the two of them.
Very thoughtfully, Meera returns back to his car. The horoscopes ar ein her hand. She accidentally bumps on Chaubey Maharaj and the horoscopes fall on the ground. Chaubey Maharaj picks up Shan's horoscope and tells Meera that Rajeshwari Devi might be trying to get his widower son married. It's a good thing and his best wishes are always with him and this would also keep him away from Alaka. Meera is stunned. Chaubey Maharaj further says that if any more mistakes occurs, then Ammaji will have to answer in front of every citizen of Benaras. And that the Bharadwajs will otherwise pay heavily and the people who will settle scores with the Bharadwajs is Akrosh Cahubey, whom Meera had slapped once. They go away leaving Meera completely dazed.
