What an episode today. Sanjeevani track started with power and it ended with Power. Only difference this time was when first time the power used it was tantric power and second time the power used it was all encompassing love. Love the real power when you get it the right way nothing in the world can stop you.

Look at the way 2 men approached the decisive battle today. On one side we had Meghnadh who had lost his trust with his father. A mother who knew nothing could be done to him and a wife who was frightnened for his life. She was not even trusting her love towards him when she tries to stop him. And he is unwilling to trust his wife , her intuitions. Between her unadultered love for him and his father's selfish motives he chooses his father's selfish motives. To satisfy those selfish motives he goes to do pooja of a Goddess. Can the Goddess protect you when you have disobeyed your mother and didn't listen to your wife with good intentions. The man who disrespects the woman in his family for the trust of a selfish man understands the power of Prakriti, when Vanar Sena comes and make merry of his yagya place. I loved the way Hanuman extinguishes the fire with water. It was symbolic of ending the fire or life that is within Meghnadh. We live because oxygen burns and gives Carbon dioxide. We live because of our breathing. When breath is not there life is not there. Extinguishing fire symbolized extinguishing breath.

Coming to Laxman. What does he come with. Blessings of his elder brother, unadultered affection of his bhabi, support of vanar sena, trust of a mother and love of a wife. He stands there respecting Prakriti or woman in all forms. Love forms his biggest power and strength.

I loved the way Laxman dealt with Meghnadh. Destroy his focus. What a turnaround. Laxman who was slave of emotions wants to make Meghnadh today slave of emotions. Today emotion is slave to laxman. Once Meghnadh gets up and talks adharma, he gives a good tit for tat answer. When it is your turn to face adharma you talk about dharma. All adharmis do it when they get the taste of their own medicine. And then he says I will fight with you the way a warrior should fight. Alone. Come and fight with alone like a man. Then he takes Meghnadh's weapon. Asks Meghnadh to get another weapon.

That scene was superb. Meghnadh taking the trishul of Goddess and comes to attack Laxman. Instead of ducking the attack, Laxman jumps up and cut his head. That scene was simply superb. Laxman stands with Meghnadh's head in front of Goddess and Meghnadh falls facing away from Goddess. It showed the beautiful representation of one who doesn't respect Prakriti, away from Prakriti will fall and the one who respects her will stand as victor in front of her.

Another beautiful symbolism I observed was Vibhishan talking about the chariot that he will get if he completes the homa. Vijaya rath. If he fights on it no one can defeat him. Once again it ties with the way Laxman cuts Meghnadha's chariot in first battle bringing him down. Today however that task was done by Vanars.

Whenever you deal with Maya, never go without allies. How much ever valiant you are it is difficult to beat Maya alone. It is what happens with Abhi in Chakravyuha. Because the adharmi people want to win at any cost. They will do anything for it. So understand your power before going attacking the tantric power. Make love your greatest power. That is possible only when you act, when emotions are in your control.

After a long time, I am back to analysing :)
Dated: 3/8/16 (Tarini ) - 10/8/16

(I shall be posting about some lessons learnt from these episodes, if not in detail. Please excuse me)

Tarini, a devotee and at the same time the obligated. Usually, we see devotees as people who are free from any obligation of society, or desire. But here Tarini is just a child, who has been dwelling in the name of Vishnu since his senses. He is still obligated to follow the rules of his family, for he is not completely independent. Ravan's loss of sense is understood in the fact that he chooses to use his son as a tool, rather than a person in his fight against Ram. At this point, it is proven that the war against Adharma in any one's life is not just involving the very person but the ones around him. This is the very essence of the Gita too, that your Karma always effects other people whether you are aware or not. The goal is to do Karma alone, for other people. And it is this idea Raavan drifts away from, leading to his downfall.
Tarini goes to battle, only at his fathers command. And the very reason he doesn't see the Vishnu in ram at Once is because he is at that moment only working for his father for his achievement. Another basic idea of Dharma, do not be blind in anything; faith, love or trust. The minds eye should always be open, irrespective of the situation. Vibhushan is called a traitor by some, but in my opinion it is completely wrong. He is the one who had presence of mind and choose to be with Dharma. Therefore, he becomes a preacher of Dharma.
Coming to Raavan accusing the Gods for him being cheated against fighting with Vishnu, he doesn't realise the height of his crimes and sins that The Lord had to take human suffering just to punish him for his Karma. He is blinded by power, and thinks that controlling the 3 Lokas is it. But there is a world beyond it, which he fails to comprehend. A world where all are equal, and where all actions and based on actions only.

@Sruthi di Wonderful analysis! Love is the power that drives all actions- Adharma or Dharma. Lakshman was driven by love for his Bhaiya and Bhabhi, but Meghnad was driven by the love for respect from his father. But, respect is only gained when you give it. And Meghnad has disrespected many for his father. And for that father, he dies, ignoring all relations.

@Anu di Welcome back! :)

Karma is truly a great thing, di. Ram didn't know that his story will be recited all over the world in the future, but he just did the right thing, even if he wanted to do otherwise. Doing the right thing even when no one is watching is called true character. Ravan just did what he desired, and we hate him today.

I have heard somewhere that Urmila is an incarnation of the Ksheer Sagar. And that makes sense, na, without the Ksheer Sagar, there is no Adi Sesha resting on it, and there is no Vishnu or Lakshmi resting on Adi Sesha. The Ksheer Sagar is the support for all of them. Likewise, without Urmila, there would be no Lakshman, and without Lakshman, there would be no Siya-Ram. Her sacrifices are the support for the trio and their sacrifices.

@Anu you have beautifully explained Karma sakshi the nature which decides the result based on action only. Yes our actions affect others and their reactions to our actions affect us also. That is why direction from Lord is important so that he takes care of all reactions and we get the defense at the right time.
@Gowri respect is again gained by actions. You cant respect others if you dont respect yourself. Meghnadh was a man who measured his self worth based on his father's words and that undid him.

I actually felt sad for Meghnadh today. Making an individual post on it. Burden of expectations
