Star Plus' mythological which started on a promising note has not been able to grab audiences' attention of late. The series is currently in last leg and will soon be bidding adieu to the viewers. However, what's interesting is that Ekta Kapoor's eagerly awaited show,Chandragupta Maurya will be replacing it.

As reported earlier, Chandragupta Maurya will see Rajat Tokas making a comeback as the main lead after his successful show, Jodha Akbar. Shweta Basu Prasad will play the lead heroine opposite Rajat in the show. Siya Ke Ram will apparently go off-air in the month of September.

Siya Ke Ram produced by Triangle Film Company has Ashish Sharma and Madirakshi Mundle playing Ram and Sita respectively.

It will be interesting to see if Ekta's historical show will be able to do any wonders.

Whats the use of showing Ramayan from Sita's perspective If Sita going to Mother Earth Story is not shown ?

Ramayan on Sita and no Luv Kush ? Strange !

These copy paste articles come in all new portals at the same time

which indicates that it's planned

It's either SP creating buzz around both the shows or

Ekta doing it for her upcoming show

But can't they try something different, rather than this😆😆

And what "has not been able to garner audience attention of late"

Ekta Kapoor is after Star Plus only dont know why ? Cant she Put the serial CGM on Sony or Life Ok or & Tv ?

I actually searched on net for this news , which popped across many channels after this piece broke out On IF

And what i find , all were Quoted saying " as reported by sources " or " according to IF website "

I too think this is copy paste stuff going on here🤢

And by the speed at which SKR is going , till mid september yudh kaand would have just ended

Now what do people want. They want to know CGM is coming. Well fine. Let it be. It is a big budget show, so obviously it will need lot of buzz.

But why are you after SKR. Or is it because SKR has the popularity if SKR is mentioned CGM will get noticed.

@Sutapasima EK was always after DABH when it topped the chart toppling her JA. Even if JA comes one week as topper she will say JA has toppled DABH.

Now she wants to show her CGM something great than SKR. It might get TRP. But I am sure content wise it will never match SKR.

Guys, I think the information is probably misinterpreted. Because I just read in the newspaper today that the lead actor of DABH himself confirmed that DABH is going off air in September. So it could be that CGM replaces SKR at 8 and SKR might air at 9. Considering 9 pm attracts more audiences and SKR's trps have started increasing too.

Guys as we know SKR is a finite show and it is bound to end sooner than expected. And we have been hearing that it may end by in September. So going by the speed, we should not be surprised if the war ends by mid august and then there is not much for them to show than Ram Pattabhishek and then Sita's second excel. so a mini leap and Lav Kush story with Ram's Ashwamedha Yajna. So I am still OK with the news of SKR ending though it gives nostalogic feeling but what deters me is one more historical character will be butchered by Ekta. I am clear that I will not start with CGM and I don't want one more heartache which I suffered during JA for getting emotionally involved.
