Everything was going fine and well for Ayodhya's citizens as their king Ram was ruling there and their was peace and harmony in the city but this peace and harmony came in Ayodhya after someone very important person in Ram's life left the palace .
The important person who left was his dear wife Sita.
7 years have passed away from when Sita left the palace.
Ram though grief-stricken was managing the Ayodhya matters very well keeping his pain away for Ayodhya 's sake.
Sometimes some cases come that somehow made him remember Sita and he become teary eyed while the case is going on but Lakshman was the one who always notices his brother's condition , he keep his hand over Ram's shoulder to give him strong support . When Ram felt Lakshman's hand over him , he gain mental strength and he quickly wipes his tears which were filled in his eyes and as always manages the case very well.
Ayodhya people consider him as the best king to ever rule Ayodhya so far.
After Sita , only Lakshman was left in his life with whom he can share his feelings fully with no hesitation .
On the other side , Sita had given birth to 2 twins : Lav - Kush and they were 6 years by now .
Sita was spending her days in very much hardship and none of her day spent without chanting Ram name . She miss him very badly each day but her sadness turn into happiness when she see her two twins . Sita thinks that here lav kush are there to give me happiness and support and she know that her lakshman would be always there with her Swami to give him support in his tough times.
In Valmiki Ashram:
One fine day , after making the food , she was running behind her twins to feed them.
Sita : Why are u both running , please have the food .
Lav : We will only have if u will be able to catch us.
Kush . Yes Maa , first catch us !!!
Sita [ bit sternly ] : U both , now see I will catch u both and today u both cannot run away from food .
She was running behind them but she underestimated both of them, her both sons were running so fast that she was not able to catch hold of them.
Sita finally gets exhaust and sits under the tree sadly and keep the food besides her.
She becomes sad and tears roll down from her face .
Lav Kush notices this and they both come running towards her and hugs her tightly.
Kush : Sorry Maa , we didn't mean to hurt u , we were just playing with you.
They both wipes her tears with their soft hands .
Lav : Sorry Maa , now we will never do this and will always eat the food without making any trouble for u .
Sita smiles
Lav and Kush says in unison : SORRY MAA !!!!!
She hugs them and says : OK Sons , I forgive u both, now cheer up !!!
Lav and Kush kissed her on her cheeks : We love u Maa !!!
Sita having a big smile : I love u both too !!!!
Sita after feeding them loving with her hands make them sleep singing lullaby.
Sita then remember that how his dear son like devar Lakshman also used to do this things like her sons Lav-Kush . She sometimes found an image of Lakshman in her sons .
FLASHBACK : DURING Ram-Lakshman-Sita EXILE
One fine cold night , Ram was sitting under a tree. Sita was cooking dinner and Lakshman was cutting woods for fireplace .
Sita : Swami , Lakshman bhaiya , Food is ready !!! Come inside .
Ram hearing Sita's call stand up and move inside the hut.
Sita : Come Swami and sit. I will serve u but where is lakshman?
Lakshman have heard his voice and says: Bhabhi , I will come and will have food later on . U both have food .
Sita [annoyed ] : Not again , lakshman !!
Lakshman : I will have food , u both please have it , I have some work.
Ram [smiling and in a concern voice ] : Lakshman , come inside and have food , do your work later.
Lakshman : Please bhaiya , I will do my work and will myself come and have the food.
Ram [smiles] : Go Sitae , convince him , I am waiting here for u both.
Sita moves out of hut smiling : Lakshman , please have food !!
Lakshman : Bhabhi , Don't worry , nothing will happen to me if I will not eat food now.
Sita [sadly] : If u will not eat food now then we will not eat food and I will not talk to u.
Tears roll down from her face and she goes inside the hut .
Lakshman realises his mistake and feels sad and he moves insides where Ram & Sita both were waiting for him . Sita was sitting sadly.
Lakshman bend down on his knees and hold his ears : Bhabhi , Sorry , please forgive me . I didn't mean to hurt u. Think if I have not cutten woods now then how would u and bhaiya will be protected from cold. But now see, I am in front of you , now please forgive me .
A bright smile comes on Sita face and she wipes her tears : I will forgive u only on one condition .
Lakshman [shocked] : What is the condition bhabhi ?
Sita : I will feed u today .
Lakshman [shocked] : But bhabhi , I am not a child that u will feed me .
Sita [smiling] : U r just like my child , Lakshman .
Lakshman hesitates but Ram through and eye signal ask him to agree .
Lakshman : Ok , bhabhi .
Sita feeds him lovingly like a mother and Ram also began to eat food seeing them eating food .
Lakshman [smiles with tears in eyes] : Bhabhi , u r just like my mother sumitra who cares for me just like u .
Sita [smiles] : Thank u lakshman .
Ram making an innocent face acts to make environment more lighter and happier : Sitae , sometimes feed me too !!!
Lakshman and Sita burst into laughing hearing this.
Sita [giggling] : Swami , what r u saying ??
Lakshman [laughing] : Bhaiya , what r u saying !!!!
Ram [making a child like innocent face] : Why not me , if Sitae, u can feed lakshman , then why not me !!
Sita : Ok Swami , I will feed u too someday !!!
Ram [making a shock expression ] : SOME DAY !!!
Seeing this , Siya and Lakshman both say in Unison : Yes !!!!
And they both starts laughing and Ram smiles seeing them laughing and thinks that his Lakshman and Sitae looks so cute while laughing !!
FLASHBACK ENDS
Sita smiles remembering this moments with tears in her eyes.She then go to sleep.
IN AYODHYA-
Lakshman was sitting on his sofa in his room and looking at his children playing with toys.
Urmila enters the room with plate of food for their children Angad and Chandraketu.
They both were playing with toys and seeing her mother approaching with food . They both runs here and there just to creat trouble for her.
Urmila : U both don't run here and there and eat food.
Both teases her showing their tongue.😛
Seeing this , lakshman giggles.
Urmila fumes with anger : Swami , U instead of scolding them , u r giggling.
Lakshman couldn't stop laughing at his angry wife : Sorry Urmi !!!!
He says sternly : Angad & Chandraketu, now enough , ask forgiveness from your mother.
Angad and Chandraketu [Laughing] : No !!!!
And they runs here and there.
Urmila : U both , wait, I will give u a good punishment , u both r becoming naughty day by day.
She keeps food on table and she runs behind them to catch hold of their ears.
But she was not able to catch them , they r running here and
there so fast !!
Lakshman was looking at them and giggling seeing his angry wife and naughty sons.
Finally Urmila give up and sit on bed sadly and tears roll down from her face.
Lakshman goes to Urmila : Urmila , why r u crying dear ?
Hearing this , both Angad and Chandraketu feels bad and comes to her mother and bend down on their knees.
Angad : Sorry Maa !!
Chandraketu : Sorry Maa , we didn't mean to hurt u .
And they both hold their ears and Angad says : Sorry maa , now we will not tease u and we will eat food without creating some sort of nuisance .
Chandraketu : Forgive us Maa, please .
Urmila calms down, smiles and says : OK , I forgive u both now , now eat food quietly sitting here.
Both agrees and they sit besides her and she feeds food lovingly to both of them in turns.
Lakshman smiles and goes back to sit on sofa . Seeing her wife Urmila feeding their sons lovingly. Lakshman too remembers the day when his bhabhi Sita feed him and tears roll down from his face. He quickly wipes his tears because he didn't want to get notice crying by his sons.
But Urmila has seen him and worries in mind that why is he crying ?
Lakshman was controlling his emotions and was looking Urmila feeding their sons with tearful eyes.
Not able to control himself he moves out and goes to terrace .
Urmila notice this and after feeding both of them , she sings lullaby to make them sleep. They both sleep.
Urmila rushes outside to find lakshman and she notices him at terrace crying looking at moon.
Urmila worryingly runs to him and put her hand on his shoulder : What happen Swami , why are u crying . I notice that u became sad when I was feeding Angad and Chandraketu . What happened ?
Lakshman hugs her and cries . Tears roll down from her face too seeing him .
She breaks the hug and wipes the tears from Lakshman's face.
Urmila : Please stop crying , I cannot see u like that , please tell me what has happened .
Lakshman tells her about that exile incident .
Lakshman [sobbing] : I am missing that moment terribly and my bhabhi both .
Urmila listening this too miss Sita didi and tears rolls down from her face too in memories of her.
Lakshman [sobbing] : I wish that moment comes once again but I doubt this will happen or not !!
Urmila wipes her tears and says : U can feel that moment once again.
Lakshman wipes his tears and look at her confused : But how Urmila ?
Urmila : Come with me.
She takes him to their room by holding his hand.
Urmila [smiles] : Sit here , I am coming !!
Lakshman : Ok , but where r u going?
Urmila : I am coming in few minutes. Just wait.
Urmila moves out of her room and comes with a plate of food and sit besides him.
Lakshman look at her with loving eyes .
Urmila : Open your mouth
Lakshman opens his mouth and Urmila feeds him very lovingly .
Lakshman : Urmi , why I am feeling that instead of u , my Sita bhabhi is feeding me?
Urmila smiles : In childhood , Sita didi used to feed food to me , mandavi didi and shruthkirti.
Thats is the reason I know very well that how she used to feed all of us.
Lakshman after eating the food hold her hands : Thanks a lot Urmi !!
I am very happy that I feel that moment in form of u.
He hugs her .
Urmila [smiles] : I am very glad that I am successful in cheering u up.
Lakshman : I wish that where ever bhabhi is living , she too find happiness in any form.
Just like I have found my happiness and great support in you .
Urmila smiles : I too wish the same !!!
Lakshman breaks the hug and smiles : Now u should have some rest , already Angad and Chandraketu had really trouble u a lot today.
Urmila giggles listening this !!!
Urmila : U too take rest.
Lakshman : I will Urmila but Firstly I want to go and check that what Ram bhaiya is doing . He is very sad now a days.
Urmila : U go swami , he need you !!
Lakshman kiss on her forehead and moves out .
Urmila smiles : There will be no brother like u in this whole world. The world will remember u as an ideal brother , I am sure about it.
Lakshman moves to his Ram bhaiya 's room and he sees him lost in thoughts and tears were filled in his eyes.
The room's door was half - open.
Lakshman calls him from the door : Bhaiya !!
Ram didn't listen him as he was lost in his own thoughts.
Lakshman moves inside and touch his shoulder : Bhaiya !!
Ram comes out of trance : Lakshman , when did u enter , sit here.
Lakshman : I came just now , why were u so sad bhaiya?
please tell me.
Lakshman [sadly ] : Are u missing Sita bhabhi , bhaiya ?
Ram hugs him and sobs : Yes !!!
Lakshman tries to be strong for the sake for his brother : Bhaiya , control yourself , I can't able to see you in this condition.
Ram [sobbing]: For so long , I have controlled myself Lakshman for the sake of Ayodhya . Now I am not able to control myself any more.
Lakshman , it is very true that nothing is more stronger than Time.
See, how the time has played with me. My happiness will suddenly turn into deep sadness like this , I was never aware of that.
I have promised Sita during our marriage that I will be always there with her in all her happiness and sorrows. I can't fulfill this promise that I made to Sita.
First destiny separated us to kill Ravan and establish good over evil.
Now destiny , separated us once more . And I even don't know where she is , how she is , how she is spending her days in exile , I am so helpless , I know nothing about her.
Saying this Ram sits on ground crying.
Now , Lakshman too lost control seeing him . He has always tried to be strong in front of him but seeing his state , he lost control over himself . He had not seen him in such deep pain ever in his life.
Lakshman too sobs and hold Ram by shoulders : Bhaiya , Please be strong.
Ram [sobbing] : I fail in giving her happiness that she deserves.
Lakshman [ sobbing] : No bhaiya , please don't say that.
Ram : I am highly suffocated now because I have controlled my heart for so long , for 7 years . Now I want to cry my heart out , I can't live freely with so much of suffocation which is inside me.
Lakshman though was feeling very bad seeing him and was not able to see him like that , he gives support to him.
Lakshman : Bhaiya , I am here , u can cry your heart out and lessen your pain with me.
Ram listening this hugs his brother lakshman and he cries his heart out and lessen his pain with him.
Lakshman was moving his hands continuously around his back as a sign of strong support .
After Ram cries his heart out in lakshman's arms. He feels bit relieved and free.
Lakshman brings a glass of water for him and he drinks it.
Lakshman : Now take rest bhaiya !!
Ram : Will u fulfill my one wish Lakshman ?
Lakshman : Surely bhaiya , just say.
Ram: U know that whenever I was not able to sleep , Sita used to make me sleep by taking my head over her lap and caressing my hair during the exile .
Lakshman : Yes bhaiya, I remember it.
Ram : Will u also do the same ?
Lakshman [smiles] : Sure bhaiya !!
Ram lay down on bed and lakshman takes his head over his lap and caresses his hair .
Ram: After Sita , you are only left in my life with whom I can share my each feeling Lakshman . A big thanks to u for always there with me in my each pain and happiness . Thanks a lot Lakshman.
Lakshman [smiles] : No need to thank me bhaiya . I will be always there with you.
Ram looks at him with admiring eyes and thinks : There was a time, I always cared for lakshman as my child. Now time has changed a lot . Now he is no longer a child , he has grown up and changed a lot from our first exile. He supports me as my elder brother in each pain of my life, a big thanks lakshman to u for coming in my life . I am blessed to have u as my brother, lakshman.
After some time , he goes to deep sleep.
Lakshman smiles and says : Bhaiya , I will be always there for u and I am too blessed having u as my elder brother .
The whole scene was noticed by Urmila when she was passing by Ram's room to kitchen for water . Seeing the brothers in this state , she sees all scene from outside without making them feel her presence.
Urmila with tears in her eyes: Jijashree Ram had find his strong support in you , swami and u have find a strong support in me. Don't worry swami , I too will be always there for u and I pray to god that they made u stay together forever like this . I wish that my Sita didi also find support and happiness in any form .
Well her 2 wishes was fulfilled as Sita has found happiness and support in form of her twins Lav-Kush and Ram- Lakshman had always stayed together till the end of their lives .
