@Mano I was just telling by the current trend on TV. Also TRP audience doesn't like to see man's pain. For them it doesn't exist. They prefer female's torture as far as I have analyzed the trends.

Present trend if you look makkhi, naagin all gives TRPs. Not something sane.

Dahleez, Tamanna, Kuch Rang Pyaar ke and Ek Duje ke vaasthe is mentioned as the best current shows in many sites. Dahleez I completely agree. But look at their TRP

Though they do take inputs and do correction

But the main story line in intact

apart from few changes here and there I guess

If they go by fans demand

But still went on with their plan

u leave Ram bare chested that's showing of six packs

U cover Ram it becomes a problem too

Make bun then it's said it's too early

leave it open, then it's modern and filmy😆😆

Though they have tried to convey his desperation to search Sita and

lack of care on himself

(atleast I think so, as there is no reason to open it suddenly)

Except Dahleez I have seen parts of all other three shows

Agree they are better shows comparatively

But then I feel SKR's promotion is lacking too(baring initial few months)

TRP calculation is another headache

Calculation itself is wrong

Though BARC is better than TAM

Still the sample size is very small

But still see the TRP of shows running for years

literally with with no story at all🤢

@Mano sample size doesn't matter. Even if you take huge samples I don't think there will be huge difference.

Because many of the TV audiences are 45+ ladies. As I said earlier also many times I resort to hotstar to watch SKR or Dahleez. Same with my cousins and all. They are in hostels, they mostly watch online what they want to watch.

So the content that is understood by target TV audience is no story type, brainless type. Drama, Drama and more drama.

Also you can say these kind of shows gives these ladies and men too an illusion from reality. Where they can still see the doormat girls which are rare to find in real life these days.

It's also desperately trying to hold on to past which is falling away every second. Digital measurement is the way forward, where shows like Dahleez and all stands a chance.

hmmm...So not only D/L method even TRP calculation seems to be good project to aim for Nobel prize 😉
