@Shivam if Sulochana could be guided rightly by Mandodari even she could see Mandodari's vision. Problem was Mandodari never raised her voice enough till now. She was obeying her husband and MIL doing her duty as a wife. So Sulo was always at cross roads and ended up in the hands of Surpi. Bad influence.
Yesterday had a beautiful path crossing of Ram and Ravan on type of leadership . But that warrants an individual post. I will make the individual post and post the link here.

"If our two loves be one; or thou and I
Love so alike that none do slacken, none can die. "John Donne.

These words by John Donne suits both the divine couples, Siya-Ram and Shiv-parvati. Sita's lament in yesterday's epiosde was dodgy in its dialogues{esp about the fire and akhand sowbhagyavati blessing}For each and every marriage is blessed with the same invocation, isn't it; and to prevent her husband's death is not a wife's jurisdiction, is it? Whatever it is any blessing or a curse, its manifestation depends on on an individual's choice as well as his/her fate. This society as it is, where a woman esp a wife and daughter-in-law is held responsible for any misfortune that befalls her family, the dialogue ,in that context jarred a little. But she manages to direct it to the more receptive party. A stoic Shiv ji is not able to withstand his wife's verbal and non verbal entreating communication and sends Garud to save Ram and Lakshman {Hari's enjoyment at his own maya is really unmatchable😆}.Btw I thought Garud was an eagle, this looked like a hybrid!
Now to my favorite scene yesterday, Trijadha to save Sita ventures into the enemy's camp. The moment she sees Ram her eyes fill up{found the actress emoting excellently} and it increases by his addressing her as mother.I felt that once again as in the case of Dashrath,or Sampati, it is Sita who paves the way for Hari's benevolence and grace. Sita's name and then Hanuman's confirmation about her brings Ram closer to her. What follows is one of the beautiful samwad{I really missed this feeling of reverence in Ram-Shabri meeting}.The way his eyes tear up on hearing Sita's state for a moment before the warrior in him takes over, was noteworthy.
As for today's episode Hanuman's song was beautiful and profound. The background score and the songs have always enhanced the scene in SKR and today was no exception. For the first time Kaikasi seems to ponder on the inevitability of Ravan's defeat...
Another scene which stood out is Ram's war strategy, Ram fights his war against adharm whereas Krishna acts as the charioteer...Both of them trying to guide us humans to the path of righteousness.

@Savitha completely agree to you. Trijadha scene was beautiful I loved it. As I said in my analysis once again it showed unbound compassion of Ram
Coming to war strategy I felt Krishna speaking as Ram yesterday. In MB Krishna asks Arjun to fight the war for dharma. Here Ram tells clearly the purpose for which they are fighting so that everyone has the same vision.
I saw a visionary in Ram yesterday. A man who can clearly articulate his vision so that it reaches everyone. You see the picture inside you.

Yesterday's scene was really having me compelled to draw comparison between the wars in the two epics .

1. both the wars took place to uphold the dignity of a woman , difference is that in ramayana the main culprit was ravan , in mahabharata there were several ( duryodhan dushaasan and other brothers )

2. Both involved death of a young prince , In ramayan it was akshay , in mahabharat there was abhimanyu , both died away from their father's eyes

3. The 5 pandavas in my view can be compared to the main army leaders in vaanar camp , like sugreeva , hanuman , lakshman , angad and jambvant , both guided by respective avataars of vishnu .

Lakshman looks like Arjun , instrumental in killing the most no. of strong enemy warriors.

4. last but not the least , Its rama and krishna , One in which Lord vishnu is in human avtaar , fights with dharmaa , creates chakravyus and inspires his army , Where as the other , a complete incarnation of vishnu , goes a step further , not only creates chakravyus , but also breaks them , stands for dharmaa , but to maintain dharma , doesnt hesitate to play tricks too.

You guys are all right.
Ram is a visionary. He is called an ideal man for he is like that. He is Maryada Purushottam, as he knows his limits in society, but works around these very limits to rectify everything, and come out with the ideal way of living.

More on this later.

@bold1- MB is different. Panchali's disgrace was the catalyst. The war was much more deep rooted.
@red- 😭😭
@bold&italics- Agreed 👏👏

Rama and Krishna, without one, the other can't be understood 😳 They are two sides of the same coin.

Vanar sena started off well while the asur sena came to the battlefield without some gud strategy

When you know that u have some power which cannot be easily defeated by ur opponent then ur confidence level increases,,,,,, the same is dhumraksh's condition

Dhumraksh knows for sure that ram wouldn't be able to find him in all smoke,,,,, if ram isn't able to trace him then how will he kill him

A good leader knows about the strength, weakness and capability of his army men

Ravan knew about dhumraksh's strength and capability,,, so he sent him to kill the vanar sena nd not ram

If Dhumraksh would have killed ram then he would have gone away with all the credit nd ravan didn't want this

If there is no army to defend u then u can be easily defeated by ur opponent,,,,,, after each and every vanar would have been killed, ravan would have easily defeated ram as most of his strength would have been exhausted

As a good army leader, ram came to the rescue of his army

Dhumraksh's death was like a blow on ravan's face

An enraged meghnath wanted to enter the battlefield but ravan stopped him from going there,,,,, in a game we use our best moves at last , similarly ravan will use his best move I.E meghnath at last
Same is with ram, he'll also use his best move I.E lakshman at last

Ravan is worried,,,, his facial expression speaks just one line, "Dhumraksh toh gaya, ab kya hoga"

When u need help then there are many chances that you may join hands with ur enemy or someone whose worth is not that gud in ur eyes,, thus ravan had to go nd take Akampana's help

Tactfully ravan brought Akampana nd his fellow mates to his side

Akampana was easily brought to ravan's side

This means that Akampana is so silly that he couldn't identify ravan's real intentions

Trijeta is worried for ram, this means that she doesn't trust ram Completely nd she doubts his capability

Ram is not like Akampana that he will be easily fooled by ravan's silly tactics,,,, thus all efforts made by ravan are gonna go in vain

This post isnt about and symbolism and Loops
I just wanted to share with you all the detail of the war tactic SKR showed Ram employing against Raavan's Forces

What was shown is popularly known as the greek Phalynyx Formation

It is a supremely effective formation , both in attack and defence

This war tactic was the major factor in alexander the great winning many many battles and granting the Romans an unchallenged supremacy

Its mainly comprised of 256 men battalions , in 16 X 16 square , with all the infantry of the ranks of a heavy hopilite ( caomparable to today's special forces ).

The advantage lies in keeping their structure intact .

Some Pics

In standard Posture

In defensive posture

This formation earned the greeks victories all over the word , except in their Indian Invasion mainly , where they earned heavy losses , beacuse as strong something as this , it also has a weakness , and the weakness is " Use of Raw Power "

To destroy this tactic , Indian kings like porus and chandragupta used their war elephants ehich just crushed the walls of this structure , even sometimes battering rams were used
