Thanx Mano for the post...
It was an interesting one...

I would applaud SKR team for the wonderful dialogues...
They have maintained the Garima of the epic by choosing most appropriate dialogues...
Sita's agitation shock pain came across very beautifully in the haran and before that scenes..

What is mentioned in the epic was presented very graciously minus the harsh words used by both the characters..👏
The whole team has put in a lot of efforts and they ARE NOT doing anything for kicks...
The set of writers are well acquainted with the story...
They surely have a connect with it...

On the whole I am very happy with the show...I do relate to it... I watch coz I like it..😆😆

was the above not part of Valmiki Ramyan?
If u think the intention of the above part in
Valmiki Ramyan was different
U can explain what actually Sita and Laxman meant by this,
instead of bringing SKR writers in random
That would help us more
As I said this post is not about distortion

In an agitated state we do become emotional and react and even over react...sometimes things do get out of hand...and what shd not be said is said...that doesnt make us gray or black...
Dont we regret and try to take our words back when we gain our composure ???

yes we do blurt out things in anger which we don't actually mean
From the Valmiki part Sita nd Laxman appear more human than Gods
Both saying things that shouldn't be said then regretting it later
Though SKR has also kept that disagreement and argument parts intact
they have shown it in a subtle manner is what I think
Realizing our mistakes,accepting it and
redeeming ourselves is what important

thanks for the post mano, and i like the skr version more than whats written there, as i like the strong potrayal of sita
btw, i have a doubt. ravan held sita by the hand and took her. doesnt ravan have a curse that he can not touch any woman without her permission or he dies??

Though I am not 100% sure
It's in Kamba Ramayan that he can't touch any women
So he just lifts the ground that Sita is in, instead of touching her

Here the curse is that he can't force(rape) any women I guess
I might be wrong though

No dear , Ravan doesnt have any curse that if he touches other woman without permission , he will die

As per Valmiki Ramayan , during apharan , he lifted up sita with his hands and took her to pushpak vimaan

The curse he got from Nal kuber was that if Raavan tries to Molest or Rape a women , then he will burn to ashes.

As regards the Lakshman Sita Convo , it was due to sheer helplessness and fear that Sita Lost her state of Mind. She tried to convince lakshman to go out and protect ram , but he wouldnt budge , so she said those Harsh Words , she didnt mean it at all and later regretted it too

Same was with lakshman , he was trapped between his bhayia's promise and Bhabhi's order

But when sita accused him of ill intentions , he too said some harsh words to her as he was hurt too

This whole scene brought out the Human Aspect in both of them .

In SKR ,I found that lakshman sita scene was very good , in fact one of the best till date , but the haran scene was very poorly executed

This is what I know

Thanks for sharing Mano.
That shows the human behaviors in extreme circumstances. Later they themselves will feel ashamed of what they would have uttered but at crucial time, to achieve their goals, people do indulge in blame game.
