Today's epi was brilliant?
There was nothing like ego hurt though, everything was quite natural.Sita's harshness to Lakshman as a mere woman was explained by Ravan. No chetna..well something.
And Lakshman's dilemma was DharmMahasankat. It was mummy ki sunu ki papa ki.Though despite knowing who is right,he had to take step in the other's accordance.
Life me kitni baar aisi situations aa jaati hai😆You know you should not or you are self-prepared,but dont know from where your weak points come up to cross your way.Phir?
ho jaata hai kalyaan😆
Not only Sita,I wuld say sabki chetna gyi tel lene.😆

P.S-Karan was absolutely brilliant +his dialogues.

What a great episode. I felt that even a blink could make me miss an expression on Sita and Lakshman's face. Maybe for a moment she had doubted that Ram was indeed in peril, but that moment when awareness comes to her eyes was excellent .After that it is a deliberate assault on lakshman to make him go away from the Ashram. Saam,Daam, dhand and Bedh is completely utilized by her for him to go away. You can see that it hurts her too whatever hurting she has to do to help Hari to destroy Ravan. Her body language ,her expressions completely belie the fact that she is mislead by the call for help. Her concern for her husband and her wanting Lakshman to support Ram is genuine, but it is for what is to come than what is happening now.
@SHRUTHI this is where your idea that it is all her plan, materializes, doesn't it? The whole scene had the feel of a parent who knows what to do but is hindered by her child's stubbornness, we would have faced this kind of situation with our children or siblings, where we have to use the resources of control ,intimidation ,bribery and more to make them go in the direction we want ...😉
Ravan predicts about a woman's emotions and her reaction to a situation, but he is not able to understand her power or her depth. This limited thought is his downfall. He does manage to kidnap her but he is not able to break her strength or her spirit .Here in lies the difference between Hari and him, Hari gives equal importance to her part in his mission and silently gives her the reigns and for sometime takes a back seat. It is similar to Krishna giving the reigns to Rukmini when he saves her from Rukmi's control. Here is where we have to learn from them and that is when this male dominated society would flourish.

Hi Milli di, yes, Lakshman had to go through a lot. A lot of pain and a lot of scolding. And hello Shivam bhaiya. Savita, yes Hari realizes the importance of woman and respects them, while Ravan exploits them. Srutha di, hope all of these analyses help, and Laku Akka, we were talking about this earlier- we need to have a balance between practical views and emotions!

Sruthi di's

Today Sita says protecting her husband is her primary responsibility. Without ram there is no sita.see here you see a wife desperation and Lakshmi's leela.see why sita haran required for protection of ram.it is needed to take dharma from ravan. For all the adharma ravan also has power of dharma. His accumulated bad karma has to take that dharma if ram has to defeat him.And ram cannot do it alone. Lakshman has to be there as his shadow. Today a mother send her son to his real duty.his duty towards larger universe. His role is not standing there and protecting her, but open himself to the opportunity to prove himself. That is real seva.sita is going to prove she can take care of herself. She sits right in ashoka vatika

Another thing ravan says to protect her husband a woman will cross all maryada.yes sita crossing maryada was for ram's protection. Still she had to give agnipareeksha. And shanta sanskriti allowed her to cross maryada for a boy child. No questions asked. So sanskriti maryada is what it defines. But prakriti has only one maryada and sita displays that. Protection. Prakriti will do anything for protection. That is why I say your power is most when you are protecting something or someone. That's the difference between lakshman and meghnadh.lakshman want to protect. Meghnadh obeys.

Awesome analyses, as always, Sruthi di. Ram, Lakshman, and Sita's lives were all connected to the welfare of the universe, so Sita, to uphold Lakshman's and her duty, sent him away to do his duty, being with his brother and helping him fulfill the goal of his avatara. Now, time for the theme of the day!

The theme of today's episode was warnings. Let me elaborate...

After hearing Marich's imitation of Ram's voice, Sita is tensed and asks Lakshman to go and protect his elder brother. Lakshman tells Sita that Ram can not call out for help like that, so that must be a Mayavi Asur. She then remembers Jatayu's warning about Ravan taking revenge and tells Lakshman that this is no ordinary danger, so he needs to fulfill his duty by protecting him. When he still doesn't budge, Sita takes his bow and quiver to go rescue Ram herself. He stops her and requests her not to go. Then, Sita starts saying that Lakshman does not really love his brother and that all of his service was fake. After many of these accusations, only then does Lakshman agree to leave. The thing that hit me about this scene is that Maa Sita gave Lakshman a message through all of her words and actions. First, she tells Lakshman that his duty is to be with his brother at all times and to protect him. When she picks up his bow and quiver, she wanted to say that uphold his duty at any cost. And when she hurled accusations at Lakshman, she blesses him that may no one every doubt his love and service towards his brother every again. Such is the maya of Maa Lakshmi.

In Kishkindha, Hanuman goes to meet his guru, Surya Dev. Surya Dev warns Hanuman that he has to be alert, and to be able to understand Bali's actions and plan, they would need an intelligent minister, who is Jambavant. Hanuman agrees to meet the wise, immortal bear king, and thanks his guru for the suggestion. Here the importance of humility is highlighted. Hanuman is a very intelligent and powerful person, so he could have easily brushed off his guru's suggestion. But, no, he humbly accepts the suggestion, for he knows that a guru only thinks good about his disciples.

Finally, Ravan and Akampana are rejoicing over the success of their plan, but Akampana is still worried. He warns Ravan that as long as Lakshman is in the ashram, the Sitaharan is not possible. But Ravan is confident on his Mama Marich and woman nature. Here, the fact that is highlighted is that confidence is always needed to fulfill a plan, completely and properly. Without confidence, mistakes are bound to happen and the plan will not be executed properly.

After watching the whole episode, I felt that the main message of the episode was that it is important to listen to your elders, and when two elders tell you different things, always side by the right. Ram told Lakshman to stay with Sita no matter what happens, but Sita told Lakshman to go and protect Ram. Lakshman was in a dilemma, but he listened to Sita at the end because he wanted to prove that he loved his brother and he didn't want to upset his Bhabhi. Because of that one wrong decision, Sita was kidnapped. So children, listen to your elders, and always side by the right! Now for a quote...

The advice of the elders to young men is very apt to be as unreal as a list of the hundred best books.

-Olivia Wendell Holmes Jr.

That's all for today, guys! Please post more analyses, I want to get into a good discussion!

Aadhya's

Am emotionally drained aftr seeing the epi 😭
Karan was exceptional 👏
I have been trying to understand the impact of emotions in our lives & this week's episodes throws some light on it. As it has been proved many times that anger leads to destruction, other extreme emotions too has a negative side effect esp when they are so high that our logical thinking is turned off.

Sita's empathy made Ram to go behind the deer inspite of Lakshman's logic reasons. Ram's inquisitiveness made him chase the deer inspite of his logical mind warning him to return. When Sita was ready to sacrifice herself, again Lakshman took the decision of going in search of Ram. Whereas Hanuman differs here, when Surya dev told him that Jambhavan could be of help, he wasnt affected by ego. He readily accepted the offer 😊

The lesson i learnt is a channelized emotion will always help us in achieving our goal and when ur logical mind says something, listen to it & act rather than acting emotionally 😃

Hello guys, here is another story from my side. If you have interesting stories, please post them!

Lakshman is the avatar of Shesha Naga, the mount of Vishnu. Lakshman complained that he always had to follow Ram's instructions even though when he thought they were unjust as he the younger brother and thus duty bound. Ram promised his that in the next life, he, Lakshman would be the elder brother, but also told him that he would still follow his instructions. They were reborn as Balrama and Krishna.

Don't you think the Sitaharan episode was one of the reasons why Sheshnaag requested Narayan to let him be the big brother for once? But here also he couldn't do anything! 😆

It is very much needed 😊 Both Ram & Krishna's maya is difficult to understand. Since both are Vishnu's incarnations, Krishna's teachings would throw some light on Ram's actions. So, looking forward for u to connect both, Srutha 😉😃

Yes Aadhya, all of Vishnu's avatar's are connected in some way. One way is that in all of the avatars, Narayan and Lakshmi are separated. 😭

Plus I loved the fact in yesterdays episode where Raavan said that in the worst situations people (irrespective of gender I feel) lose their conscience and logic. Obviously, Sita knew that Lakshman was not guilty of anything, but to send Lakshman away she hurled all thoughts that came to her at him. Also, the other thing which I liked; was when Sita said that the true identification of a person is in the hardest times. And in this hard time, the true emotions of all of them poured out:
Sita: A fearless warrior, and a true wife
Lakshman: An emotional man, whose life is devoted to his brother and sister in laws seva
Ram: Emotional and his sixth sense became strong

That's it for now :)
