How can a mother ignore a child's plea even if it is not always voiced? Sita doesn't ...she feeds her child and encourages it to confess its problems in front of its Father who has the ability to solve it. She is worried equally about the weaker child too and argues gently with their father on their behalf and succeeds in spurring him to take care of them{ many of us would have used the same ploy in our lives with our parents, haven't we?}
The leave taking scene of Jatayu was filled with so much depth. He tells Sita about his dearest wish of atoning for his sin of almost attacking her by aiding her in some way. She with infinite compassion acknowledges it and Ram with the same feeling ,endorses it. This scene took me back to the past when Dashrath confesses to Sita about his fears and Ram consoles him. Jatayu then keeps his hand on her head both in a gesture of blessing as well as gratefulness for her understanding. But he wants Ram to do the same to him and he hugs Lakshman. I loved the scene.
Sita is lost in her thoughts and I felt that the scattered flowers indicated that in her worry about her children she forgets her safety and comfort...But Ram collects them and restores them to her in their original condition, thus reassuring her that he would take care of their children's concerns. Today in these scenes they were beyond their corporeal forms and were indeed Vishnu and Lakshmi.
I was reading something today and in it was the info. that Jasmine and Tulsi were Vishnu's favorite archana...what a coincidence. Janhavi the dialogue about the entire universe helping him was perhaps a reassurance to her for the coming separation. Did you see she was standing in front of water under a tree and then sat on a rock maybe pointing to her stay in Lanka.
@Shruthi loved your analysis of MB and Ramayan. Agree with you completely.
@Geena agree with your perspective on Sita's motives.😉
@Janhavi loved your title and post. you have indeed said it all.
Thanks to all of you for liking my post on colors.
P.S-forgot to write it earlier but the flower jasmine is made of three colors white{purity}, yellow{knowledge and wisdom} and green{ identity and happiness}.So it could also be taken as her seemingly losing them and he restoring it to her with love and respect symbolizing her kidnapping and banishment.

@DD you have covered everything in Ram Sita scene. I liked your perspective of jasmine flowers, but I am more in line with Savitha's thought process. Look at the jasmine flowers Sita takes up. It had some gaps. Just like the knowledge she has. Adhura. She knows Prakriti, but has incomplete knowledge of Sanskriti. And that adhurapan he gives to Ram. And Ram gives her the gajra tied closely without gap where both the jasmine flower is there and the thread and those flowers are fresh. Whatever damage Sanskriti has done to Prakriti, Ram will wash away all that. She giving old flowers and with the new knowledge of Prakriti+sanskriti he will restore her honor. Fresh gajra tied together.
Maryada and Bandhan I will make a separate post. I have quite a lot of things to write on it.
Now coming to Lanka. Once again Shanta and Surphanakha. What did Shanta wanted. At any cost all her brothers has to be together. They should never fight with each other. They has to stand by each other. She even extracts a vachan from them that they will be together. In Shanta we see a mature elder sister nurturing bonds. Along with the 3 mothers, Shanta plays a very prominent role in the bonding of the brother. Their sister who gave up a life of luxury for the benefit of the kingdom stands as a role model for all the 4 brothers. Geena you talked about the base. Shanta is the base on which the 4 pillars stand in Ayodhya. And that base is strong.
Now look at Shurpanakha. Divide and rule policy. If one brother didn't pay heed to her, run to the next one. Doesn't matter it is not right to wake him up before he completes sleep. She wants to go. And Kumbhakaran he reminded me of Bharath, his absence, things he has no clue that happen without him, yet he is involved in everything and is asked to take charge. Nobody asked him can I do this or can I do that. But everything is put on his head. Tum Sambhalo.
Kumbharkarn is like that. He sleeps for 6 months. Lot of things happen when he is asleep. He is not aware of it and then when he wakes up he is asked to do things poor fellow may not want to do. Now Kumbharkarna have no clue why Surpanakha wanted to go to Dandakaranya. If she had asked he would have told yes with love for his sister.
Unlike Ravan Kumbhakaran looks more doting. I loved the way he called " behen". So Surphanakha wants to manipulate that innocent trusting love to satisfy her desire.
And Ravan he prevents that. So already tiff written between Ravan-Shurpanakha. In Ayodhya where the sister forms the base, here we see a sister using divide and rule policy and the brother using tact to put down the sister. Result brother-sister at logger heads. Lanka has no base on which anything can stand. Everything is fine is just an illusion and it can break any time.
Now look at the way Ravan treats Kumbhakaran. Bringing food. I mean Kumbhakaran is treated more at physical level, satisfying his carnal desires not allowing him to understand the situation or allow his mental process to work. Ravan wants his brother to know as much little things as possible. Cut to Ayodhya. Even in Bharat's absence Ram assures the Praja his brother is capable to rule Ayodhya. Bharat's emotional development to take ownership is given importance by Ram. And Bharath takes that journey to become independent, to become capable.
When we satisfy carnal desires, not developing the mental processes of an individual we are making them our slave irrespective of them having much better capability than us. As they are trapped in the physical things, not thinking beyond what is visible, obeying the command as their duty.
I am loving the way Lanka relations are shown.

@ Shruthi, The comparison of Ram and Yudhistir was nice but we also need to understand that Yudhistir is from Dwaparayug which is after Tretayug in which Ram lived. The Goodness was reduced slightly and that is why we could see the war between cousins.
Even though he was blind and was not fit to be the king (as per rule), Dritrashtra was envying his younger brother, who became the king just because he was physically not challenged. When he heard Pandu became father he thrashed his wife Gandhari for not becoming mother and in her haste, she spoils her embryo which breaks in to 100 pieces later grown as 100 Kauravas. Both the husband and wife were jealous of panduraj & his wives and the same hatred was followed by their kids.
Whereas when Kausalya & Kaikeyi lovingly share their share of sweet with Sumithra and ensured she was doubly benefitted by having 2 sons.
Ram felt happy when he heard his brother will be crowned as king and Bharat rightfully rejected the same as he was not rightful owner of the throne. But in case of Mahabharat, Neither yudhistir nor Dhuryodhan felt they should walkover and allow the other to rule. Dhuryodhan could have backed out as his father was not the ruling King and in a similar way, Yudhister should have walked out as his father was not the elder son and his elder Uncle's son shall bethroned as king.
Ironically both thought in the reverse way. Dhuri thought his father was the elder son and so he is entitled to be the king while Pandukumar thought since his father as the ruling king, he is more entitled. End of the day, they divided their province in to two and started ruling individually and end up fighting and killing their own blood.
The goodness level keeps decreasing by era and now in Kaliyug, it is worst than Dwaparayug.

Thanks Jaya for elaborating another aspect in MB. See I know goodness reduces in each yuga. My only point was people take Ram as Maryada purushottam and without understanding his actions, they imitate him committing mistakes.
I only highlighted that mistake and you have highlighted another mistake beautifully with respect to Ram and Bharath
And in Kaliyuga we make more mistakes just looking at action, but not the intend behind the action.

DD This episode was for us,it truly was.
For a moment,I remembered your post where you told that an astrologer asked you 'why didnt you opt for arts?'
Okay,he was an astrologer and not exactly a stranger😆

We cant solve some problems completely on our own and career is one of them.Unfortunately, abhi tak Hanuman jaisa stranger mila nahi mujhe😆
But kahin na kahin all of you help me a lot being complete strangers.

What I loved was that the kid's talent opened up on its own.It could have happened a many times before, but there wasnt someone who could notice/understand it and tell "You should go for it"
I am loving Hanuman's potrayal.
Like Shruthi Di's post before said, sometimes you should not judge someone and that all one needed at the moment was a shoulder to cry on.
Now I am eager to see how does Hanuman convince the child and his parents.
Even if once you clear out what you should do,there are a lot of fears standing beside you.

@bold yeh toh sirf ek incident bataya maine 🤣

There have been many such incidents where ppl didn't knew me much except my name..

Even strangers need a proof to figure out for what u r made of.

And that's what hanuman and the kid.. With proof came conclusion. And this is applicable even in our real lives..

For eg. U write smthn.. And share it on site or smthn. Ppl will come across ur work and if any pro bumps into it he/she can also offer u work. But this is possible if u take chances..

U feel we have helped u bcz we weren't hesitant to put our lives on a public forum..

So I always believe life is a gamble. U either win or lose. But u need to take chances. If u don't take chance u r already lost in the crowd..

Ok I forgot to put the kids part in my analysis. As DD said the people who come to me asking guidance wanted to know which course will give them job and in which job pay will be more. Nobody talks about what they like. The truth is if you follow your heart, if you do courses in what you like chances of you getting highly paid jobs are huge.
But you have to learn, you have to be a master in the choosen field. Wealth is associated with knowledge, effort one willing to put.
People never understand the journey towards wealth and power. It is not rosy. It is full of sweat. Many people cant even focus for 1 hr, how will they put effort 13-14 hrs to clear exams, to create designs, to execute something.
I have read Saina Nehwal's line that she used to get up at 4am and travel about 15-20 kms to the badminton academy even at the tender age of 6 or 7. Today we see her with crowns and medals. How many 6 or 7 years can put up her regime. Leave 6 or 7 years, how many 15 or 16 years can focus on what they want to do.
Yes you will get a job, you will even get a career if you apply your mind into anything. If you observe, the chances will come your way.
More than what gives job, what will give wealth apply yourself to what you like best.

What I feel here is even strangers are not completely stranger .
They have links and experiences that's why they are able to figure out , what u are made of
Which stage you are going through .
I am also going to land up on the platform with similar prob soon , I just hope that all the things that I am reading is going to help me .
Because we are all strangers yet our experiences are helping
Isn't it ?
