DD..Fantastic post..

I dint see the episode yet (Miss it every tue n thu since m out) will have to see repeat.

But your write-up reminded me of a few line from the filmy bhajan, "itni Shakti hume dena daata" the lines are:

har taraf zulm hai bebasi hai
sehma sehma sa har aadmi hai

Guys going to write a very long post. Had beautiful episodes in the last 4 days. Especially I loved the sunday episode with just Lanka though couldn't watch the last 10 mins. And when I saw the spat between Meghanad and Sulochana I understood 4 pillars exist in Lanka too but unfortunately it lacks Dharma.
Now see Indrajith is Swadharma or wealth here. He is loyal towards his father. On his own he will go any extend to protect his father's command, his father's glory right or wrong. But on his own he has the knowledge. His love for Sulochana is true. He loves her, respects her too except when it comes to his relation with his father. Sulochana if you look Meghanad's inner voice which wants to protect him from the path of adharma which she knows his father is taking him. But unfortunately for all the love and respect Meghanad has for Sulochana he doesn't heed this advice of her. To me Indrajith has always been the Karna of Ramayana. Supremely talented, loving son whom Ravan sacrificed for his ego, his lust.
Now Kumbhakarna is the power or tyaag of Lanka. A loving brother knowing fully well what his brother is doing wrong, fights for him and dies. He sacrifice his life for the brother.
Vibhishan is the rajdharma or moksha. He leaves Lanka after doing everything in his power to show Ravan the right path.
What did Lanka lack. Dharma or knowledge which results in wrong vachan palan. And this is what Ravan does.
Irrespective of having wealth and power Ravan squanders everything away in the name of vachan palan, in the name of revenge for his sister but in truth is his ego and lust. Ego of losing Sita swayamvar and lust for the beautiful lady.
Look at Ram. When he does vachan palan it is him who is going to suffer everything first. He is leaving the palace to take vanvass. First suffering is for him. And then wealth follows him, then power and finally moksha.
If Shatrughna is performing Rajdharma it is not easy for him. With all his 3 brothers and his 3 bhabis suffering one way or the other irrespective of living in palace he and his wife lives a duty bound life following their elder brother's example.
When Sita goes, Lakshman falls, Ram cries , cries out of desperation and the desperation stems from the fact that he was unable to protect her, unable to protect him. The guilt of his wife and sibling taking the hit in the protection of dharma affects Ram and he breaks down. If you look in MB same happens with Arjuna. The crazy Arjuna on 14th day is a guilty father. A father who was unable to protect his son Abhimanyu. That failure of protection is what breaks them.
Same happens with Ram. Look at Jatayu, Sambathi. What does the elder brother do. They were competing , but the moment the elder one saw the younger one in trouble he took the hit saving the younger one. And the younger one always remember that sacrifice from the elder brother.
It is said that elder brother is like father in his absence. And he offers protection taking the hit on himself. What does Ravan do. First Moksha goes when Vibhishan switches sides, then goes power when Kumbhakarna sacrificies himself, finally the wealth Meghanadh dying at the hands of Laxman. Lack of knowledge makes him alone to fight the final battle. Whereas for Ram everytime he is broken someone comes for him. And the most important one being Hanuman. He is Ram's life line. He brings the chudamani proving Sita's existence, he brings Sanjeevani for Laxman, he stops Bharath from doing Agnipravesh and finally because of him Ram meets his sons. Maruti gives his lord whatever he wants in his fight for justice, in his fight for dharma without asking. He knows and with anyone having the real knowledge there will be a Hanuman. A uttam sevak.
Dharma is prominent in Mithila. From there come 4 girls who with the help of 4 men in Ayodhya erects the pillars of dharma in Ayodhya. And Lanka for dharma to be established first the existing adharma has to be destroyed for that Lakshmi had to go there. We need to understand Sita or Lakshmi is taking away the wealth created by Agyaan and restoring the wealth of knowledge in Lanka.
Now Sulochana and Urmila. Why does Urmila has no qualms when Laxman supports Ram. The reason is simple. Ram walks in the path of dharma. Urmila trusts Ram. She knows knowingly Ram will never put Laxman in any danger. If any danger comes Ram will stand in front. And she also knows an injustice has happened to Ram. He is going to forest alone and her husband will never be happy when he knows his brother is alone, no one to talk to, in any danger no one to support him. He will not ask. But she gives her husband willingly for the service of her jijashree whom she knows needs the support at that point more than her. Urmila has no fear.
Now Sulochana. She fears Meghnad's safety. She does not trust Ravan. She knows if it is between Ravan and Indrajith, Ravan will let go of Indrajith. He will not hesitate to make her husband a pawn to satisfy his ego. That's why she is not allowing him to follow swadharma or obeying his father. And in the decisive battle this is where Laxman will gain and Meghanad will lose. As Urmila supported Laxman's swadharm, but Sulochana doesn't support Meghanad's swadharma. And reason is the difference between Ram and Ravan.
Now let us see Surpanakha. A woman whose identity his linked to her brother. She doesn't have any individual identity. What she does, what she doesn't do, people who near her everything is measured in the capacity of her being Ravan's sister. She tells no one wants her, no one appreciates who she is and to gulp that sorrow she dances, drinks and lives a way ward life. Now imagine this woman seeing a man who values a woman not because she is someone's daughter or some princess, but who she is. A man who cannot be won over telling she is Ravan's sister or her beauty. She will want that man. Just like her brother who feels has the right over all women who ever he thinks he wants, this girl will also want the man irrespective of knowing he loves another woman dearly. Ram is that enticing toy for Surpanakha whom she has been looking. A toy who she feels she can make dance to her tunes. And when he refuses she cries and creates mess. Ravan in the name of vachan palan goes to mess around another man's life for his sister. Yes it is crime to take another man's wife and it is again a crime wanting to have a man who is another woman's husband.
Chastity is not a woman's privy thing. There are enough men out there who values it. Who are committed to the woman they love. It is not right to tell he is a man why couldn't he have another wife, or what his wife died cant he marry second time, or a man can have extra marital affair. They too have emotions. They too love their wife and their family and want a peaceful life with their loving wife and kids. No woman has the right to go and wreck it just because she didn't get the man she is looking for and this man looks good enough for her so she should have him somehow.
Let us see Shanta's situation here. She was also a girl not valued by her father. And unlike Surpanakha what does she do. She gives herself upto a cause which her father wants. Yes the sacrifice pains her, but she does get her father's acknowledgement and brother's love. Even in the sacrifice Shanta wins somewhere. She brings something good for her land by burning herself. She gives Ayodhya a ruler who can transform it. And Lord Vishnu as Ram touches her feet.
And Surpanakha what does she do. For acknowledgement, for lust she destroys her family. Because unlike Shanta who wanted acknowledgement Surphanaka wanted freedom from Ravan's fear and with her lust, she gets the freedom but at a huge price. She survives but Lanka goes in flames.
If Shanta is Gowri, Surpanakha is Kali. One live to see the family tree grow, the other live to see the extinction of the family.
Last but not least want to touch upon Lakshman and Sita. See the scene where Sita comes in front of Lakshman. She sees Lakshman struggling to fight with the bird. Sita who knows Prakriti comes in front so that Lakshman can take the bow and arrow. Sita feels the bird will attack the first person. But it is when Lakshman attacks they know it is a mayavi pakshi who has thought process.
For me I felt it was a teaching for Sita on the Maya and for Lakshman on Prakriti. Because what Sita thinks pure Prakriti is a combination of Prakriti and Sanskriti. Jatayu has Maya. And Jatayu is trapped only with the help of both Prakriti and Sanskriti. Sita and Lakshman. Sita gives the indication, Lakshman follows it.
And these instructions are very much important to lakshman is because he is going to fight Indrajith. The king of Maya. And Maya can only be broken by knowing Prakriti. And unless Meghanadh is brought down there is no victory of dharma. For me Sita standing in front looked like the cover she was giving to Lakshman on Maya, the way to fight Maya as till she came in front Lakshman was struggling, struggling to aim at Jatayu. Same way Lakshman will struggle with Meghanad Maya, till the knowledge his bhabi has given him will open up in his mind to deal with Meghanad. Sita giving the shawl. Protection of Prakriti. Knowledge of Prakriti. Sita telling Lakshman Laksya dharan karo. She pointing towards the direction from which Meghanad will attack or rather his Maya will attack and Lakshman attacking that side eventually bringing down Meghanad.
Shiv-Parvati and Hanuman DD has detailed it out. So leaving that part for now. But I do have some points. But will give a comprehensive analysis when I connect some more dots

@DD just read your post. I too could empathize with the kid. Though I am not a mother yet, one thing I have asked my younger cousins and nieces to do this if they have any problem, any peer pressure, anyone compelling them to do what they don't want to do give me a call. I have told them I may not be able to solve everything but I can listen to them. Offer them something. But have literally begged everyone not to take any drastic step in a moment of emotional unstability. Sometimes you just need a listening person. Someone who tells yes I understand and believe me 80% problems get solved if you don't judge and listen to the pain. If you allow someone to cry on your shoulders.
One more thing I want to say. Yes I am also afraid to talk on a public forum. But I have learnt to put experiences because if it helps atleast one person, then my experience would have some meaning. I struggled, why should I make someone else struggle if I can pass the knowledge to a receptive person.
Yes misuse is possible. But then for everything there are 2 sides. If you think about misuse and don't share then also you are doing injustice and Maa Saraswati will leave your side if you don't share the knowledge the right way.
Also I have learnt one thing. My posts have regular readers. So one way or the other I might be influencing their thoughts or somewhere I am clarifying something for them. If I can concentrate on that group, I will be happy, they will also be happy. I cannot change the thought process of someone who has rigid views, who believes in my way else high way. And obviously they wont come to my posts also. So as long as I am convinced I am sharing the right things, I should do it.

One more thing I have to put. I talked about self before others. Ram places himself before others. He takes the hit of vanvass first of leaving power and wealth.
Cut to infamous hall of dice. What does Yudhi do. The elder Pandu brother in the game of dice keeps each of his brother as a deal. he treats each brother as his property to be kept. Which dharma was that.
Did Ram ask Laxman to follow him to jungle. He didn't. Laxman went on his own. Did Ram ask Bharath to live like him or be a care taker king. No. Bharath does it. Does he expect Shatrughna to run the affairs of Ayodhya doing pooja of his padukas and not sitting on the throne. No. But he does it. Ram wanted to protect all his brothers. he wanted to give best to all of them even it meant suffering for him. But the brothers didn't leave Ram.
If you look at dharma Yudhi should have kept himself as the deal first. Once he had become slave he wouldn't have any right on any of his brothers. They would have been independent and Bhim and Arjun would have done then and there what needs to be done to Shakuni and co. He could have given them choice of fighting their battle. But no. He decided. He puts the chain on them. If you read infamous hall of dice Bhima and Arjuna are screaming when Panchali is dragged with yudhi sitting quietly. Bhima's and Arjuna's screams reflect in the pillar. And they too think they have to listen to their elder brother as he should be treated like Lakshman and Bharath treated Ram.
But did Yudhi do Ram's actions. They should have broken. They should have questioned the dharma of their brother and refused to abide by him just like Vibishana when Panchali was dragged. But their mistake was again they thought they have to listen to their elder brother whatever he says or does.
And if you see in the great battle no wonder Krishna calling the shots once Abhi is killed. He makes Yudhi utter a lie. Because with Yudhi's misguided dharma the war cannot be won.
He can be the king only with the help of Bhima and Arjuna the people with real knowledge, who can put themselves in the line of fire if need arises.

DD n Shruthi beautiful analysis.👏 I just love when you bring the contrasts between Ramayan n Mahabarath.⭐️

Net still not ok.

In Ayodhya every relation is treasured. Where as in Lanka there is no transparency in relationships. The sister and brother trying to fool each other and showing false affection. Father just using the obedience of a doting son.
If the base of a building is strong it will be able to withstand most of the external forces. Even if there is some damage since the base will remain you might need only minor repairs. But if there is no base at all every thing will be lost since there is no anchor.
The Lankan siblings trying to outwit each other was such a contrast to Sampathi n Jadayu.

Hanuman and the kid scene was touching. Hanuman rescues the kid and explains to the kid that for every problem there is a solution. All of Rams problems will have a solution through Hanuman.

Ram, Lakshman n Sita hears about Sampathi's story and his hatred against sun n suryavanshi's. Sampathi will hear about the death of Jadayu from the search party sent by Ram, Lakshman n he will help them inspite of his hatred n attain moksh.( Sita's dialogue- when there is solution to the reason for anger then that anger can be resolved)

From the time Sita is wearing the dress given by Anasuya her look is changed. Ravan makes the plan of golden deer bacause Sita was the mark. He assumed she will be ensnared by the golden deer just like any other woman. Despite leaving the luxuries of the palace n choosing the life of a sanyasi she succumbs to the plot. Was she obliging him? Was Ravan the mark the whole time?

Waiting for Kumbakarn to wake up today😛

SIYA KE RAM- 27/04- LIMITS AND BOUNDS
Shruthi am bookmarking your post on the index. shall read it later. this month is boring and tedious .
mili my baby, watch today's epi its a big answer for ppl like us.
cvs can we really get a break from such mindblowing epis? u r wasting my time 😡
cmn to lanka scene am really clueless what's happening from yday 😆 didn't give much attention but itna samajh aya ki ravan wants to stop surpankha (correct me if am wrong.😆) and c how he does that.👏 TACT!!!!
aise nahi toh waise ghee nikalna chahiye.
kumbhakarn and all the sena reminded me of gulliver's travel..😆
shruthi aap lanka sambhalo 🤣
cmn to my most fav scenes...
the kid, hanuman and vanar sena 👏
it didn't take a minute for hanuman to figure out the kid's capability.
yday i had said sharing your issues with strangers helps more at times. and today we get the answer to why? the ppl who don't know u c u as an INDIVIDUAL. that's really important. for a family, teacher and friends u r a child, student and a friend.
"business toh uske khoon me hai"
"carry fwd the legacy of acting"
i don't understand yeh khoon ka kya logic hain. khoon mein RBCs WBCs and platelets hote hai. bas! do u get it 😡
mili here comes apne kaam ki cheez. 😆 "proof" it didn't take a second for hanuman to understand what the kid is capable of. many times strangers understand or observe what our family or frenzz don't. the ideology of society has become like which field is better? scope kaha hai? paisa kaha hai? but does anyone see this what our child is capable of doing?
i got this chance of realization late and a stranger or an outsider only pointed that to me. and what initiated it? it was a "proof". at times proofs aren't enough. then what shud one do? am reminded here of kirti's dialogue
"sita didi kehti hai upaay dhundo chahe jitna samay lage.' but she didn't say baki kaam kaaz chod do 😆
i'll quote here one line that i came across.
" set ur desires free. do ur work till then. if you believe that the earth is round, the desires one day will knock your door"
sita jatayu scene was nice..
am glad cvs came up with the loop opening. the loop had opened when sita had stood and jatayu came to attack.
this wil close once he's dead.
"aap humse milne ayodhya awashaya aaiye' was so poignant 😭
sita's anubhuti of their next meet is more or less of a gentle reminder that jatayu is here for a greater purpose.
today i attacked you. but the next meet i'll try to help you and be your savior. maybe then my misdeeds will be forgiven.
karma comes back. we know. but i'll add smthn. karma does come back even if u aren't wrong or u are indirectly/remotely involved. i understood this day before yday when a truth stared at me with wide ruthless eyes. and in such cases history repeats itself but with a twist (if u aren't at fault directly). at times u get framed for no fault of yours. u are misunderstood or misinterpreted and at times leads to harm someone else. but you had neither wished this or intended to happen. in such cases u do face a similar situation with roles reversed ( as indirectly u hurted smone) and get saved before tym (bcz ur intention was good and u weren't involved directly). i don't know if anyone else noticed this bt i understood why it happened.
i see sita jatayu scene on similar lines.
cmn to the next and my most fav scene. am glad there wasn't sira hug today 😆 last week it was too much. cvs need to get this,, the too much ruins the divinity and essennce of this couple.
today's scene reminds me of the scene where sunaina braided sita's hair for the first time and the word "bandhan" popped up.
i don't remember that convo exactly but i suppose its very much like todays ram sita scene.
beautiful👏
limits Vs bounded...
i loved the usage of the gajra here... cvs u stole my heart today ⭐️
sunaina gave her hair pin and tied her hair. today sita was removing the gajra and let her hair lose. the time she is doing this ram calls her from behind.
she's surprised. and then comes the most cliched dialogue 😆
aasan bhasha mein
the universe conspires and always gets me to you.
i loved the way he held out the fresh gajra and she gave him the one she had removed 😆
it was as if she doesn't want to be bound.
a similar parallel to sunaina sita scene with the hair pin. it was wow all the way... i can watch it for n no. of times 😉
i loved the convo...⭐️
sita talks about bandhan and ram talks about maryada. WOW!!!!😃
limits and boundedness are needed to channalize your life properly.
am talking about boundedness not limits.
and how beautifully sita explained...⭐️
limits stems from responsibilities and free will
boundness comes from selfishness.
i guess this is what sunaina had explained sita. am not sure tho.
what i really loved is the parallel they are drawing. i realized it when sita mentioned sampati.
jatayu has limits but that's what he has chosen out of freewill.
sampati has bounded himself in the shell of anger, pain and hatred.
now what parallel am i talking of?
jatayu=vibhishan
sampati= ravan
vibhishan has limits as a brother and a loyal of lanka. but he uses that freewill to support ram.
ravan is bounded in a shell of his ego, anger, hatred (cz of surpankha's nose off).
tomorrow's epi will be interesting to watch.
but prior to it.. i loved the way sita agreed for the gajra.
first she explains of limits and bounds. ram acknowledges his wife as vidushi 👏
and then comes the gajra..⭐️
sita will always put limits and she expects smthn similar from ram.
the hair pin that sunaina gave her came across as boundness for her. but sunaina explains and she agrees for limits.
today first ram came. she handed over the old gajra to him. that is rejecting boundness.
after the convo when she understands that he respects her words she agree to put the limits.
once again lakshman aayo 😆
and c here, the gajra is used as a bow and then left lose..(hairstyle bhi ho sakta hai 😆)
the precap is interesting 😃 but i really hope they don't distort the abduction 😆 mujhe ekdum aisi feeling aayi that sita apaharan tomorrow 😆
cmn to the title
the kid had bounds or limits?
was surpankha bounded or limited?
we did get about jatayu and sampati.
overall a great episode 😳

Beautiful analysis everyone
Take a bow everyone pulled it so well .

I caught a little of yesderdays episode , I loved the Hanuman scene
He talked about expectations isn't that the truth of life , u can't expect a mango tree to grow apple can we
We have to understand someone is fire , someone is water , both needed for survival .
