I read it somewhr ...During the War btw Meghnadh and Lakshman . Meghnadh realises that he is unable to win over Lakshman because he has got a protecting force back at home and it is his wife . the prativratha and her devotion towards his husband .
SO meghnadh decides to kill lakshman and later to marry Urmila so that he can get her Love and in this way he can be protected . But we all knw ,Lakshman kills him .

I dont knw whether it is true or not ! Might be a folklore as well😊

Even meghnah wife protects him with his devotion..
Only that can kill him who has won over nidra..Lakshman has given his nidra to urmilla to serve ram Sita day and night..so nidra ask him who will take his nidra to balance and he says urmilla and she accepts and slept for 14 years...
