Hello friends,

I wasn't sure if this is just me or if anyone here feels the same way. Among all of the 4 sisters, I feel as if her character is the weakest. Not sure if it's the way her character is written or is it the way it comes across on screen.

I would have thought that she would be wisest after Sita, but I find Urmila and Shukirti to be much better than her.

I just can't seem to connect with her character. They probably need to tone her down a little bit.

Now I love Bharat and the actor portraying his character is doing full justice to it.

Mandavi fans pls don't throw chapals at me, I am just stating my personal opinion here.

Much love

I agree to a certain extent
Lol was about to post regarding it

She is shown impulsive and not too mature
She rejected Bharat first without talking and then was impressed just by a single talk that she reversed her decision! Strange!

She is shown opposite of Sita
But I guess she is shown a bit like it to suit Kaikayi's character after marriage I feel...

That's my biggest fear, I hope she doesn't join hands with KK with the vanvaas track. She clearly wasn't a part of it. I am probably overthinking this.

From the very beginning, when it came to Ravan...now Bharat. God I can't help but feel sorry for him 😆

No offense to the actress, but even the acting isn't on par. I just can't tolerate the sour face that they keep asking her to do 😆

I agree at some points
Yes she is the weakest character among the four sisters

But good as individual

She is very restless girl

i feel that shes most realistic character for current generation. Yes impulsive...but so was Urmila in judging Lakshman until the snake episode... Just that wedding came too fast in Mandvi's case. Yah maybe in the classic terms she might look weak but if it was current world order she would be the most realistic i guess

[/QUOTI but she was the same way whe Ravan was in the picture...I find her to be immature

I think in Urmila's case, the banter between them were adorable since both Urmila and lakshman are shown to be similar in some ways...

Now whe it comes to Bharat, he is completely an opposite of her.

I agree, I think they didn't put too much thought into Mandavi's development as a character. She was supposed to be portrayed as Sita's reflection - mature, thoughtful, etc.
Also, I feel like the Mandavi-Bharat interactions were like a faint (and less interesting) copycat version of the Urmila-Laxman interactions (which were so funny and made sense in terms of how their relationship evolved. Just wish we could've had more of it.) Anyway, to me it looked like they kind of did the same stuff with Mandavi and Bharat but it didn't make sense for their characters - Bharat is so thoughtful and not impulsive like Laxman. Wish they showed something else other than those forced bump-ins :) Mandavi and Bharat's coming together doesn't even make sense, whereas Urmila and Laxman's evolution as a couple did make sense.

Guys Bharat and Mandavi are the typical arranged marriage couples. They are quite ok with it that's it. Mandavi is impulsive by nature. They are keeping her like that because at vanvass time her character has a crucial role. Whether she will be with Kaikeyi or with Sita. That emotions which sway has to be shown in her so that someone think they can manipulate her, but then ultimately her love for her sisters will win over, like it had done in the past.
