Episode 54:Contrast..

As I was watching the episode today,
a quote that I had read a while ago came to my mind
"Arrogance is used by the weak,
while kindness is used by the strong".
How true is this?
This is exactly the difference between Ram and Ravan.
Ravan seemed like person who used arrogance and
ego to cloak his weakness.

Writeup:Varshu😛

Note:
Caps are free to be used by all SKR fans, but don't use my edits to belittle or demean the actors and the show.
No cast/crew/fandom bashing in this thread.

The episode begins with Ravan coming
to pay his respects to the Shiv Danush,
but what he did was the very opposite.
He not only disrespects the Danush,
but goes a step ahead n disrespects and
insults Lord Shiv too

In all his arrogance ,he thinks he can keep the Danush in Lanka
in a golden temple and string it with gold and precious stones.
He has the gall to tell Mahadev that the lord needs him
more than him needing the lord.

His head is swollen so much with power n ego ,
that he feels it is a test for the Lord and not him.
Ravan calls himself a Shiv Bhakt,
but nowhere can his bakthi be seen.
He is absolutely confident that he would win.
Cannot wait for him to fall flat on his face.

Ram on the other hand is trying to help an old woman plough her field.
She gives him directions,
while Ram visibly struggles with the job on hand.
But with the ever glowing smile in his face

Aren't u attending our Rajkumari's swayamvar...
Though I couldn't be present there
I know for sure that
Only a blessed soul could win over our Sita...

Did does she know that the man is right now working in her field😉

The lady is still not satisfied with Ram's work😆😆
Which grabs the passerby's attention

Ram assures the lady that he will try again...

I he not a Rajkumar!?

but who will make this old lady understand...

u must be kidding me...
Ayodhya's Rajkumar...
why would he plough my field...

She doesn't believe he is the Prince of Ayodhya at first,
but looks on in stunned disbelief when Lakshman comes there looking for Ram.
The old woman then apologizes to Ram,
but Ram says he was happy to work on the lands that even the King has worked on.
Ram's nature of always wanting to help others,
his thirst for learning new things, his respect for the earth are all clearly evident.

Lakshman inform Ram that Gurudev wants to meet Ram...
Ram takes leave...saying that we would love to learn more form her...
if at all he gets an chance.
the lady overwhelmed by his humility...
says she will wait for that day till her end..

While Ravan reeked with conceit and a sense of superiority,
Ram is humble and kindhearted.

Ravan meets Kushadwaj upon Malayvan's insistence
Ravan being his own-self insults Kushadwaj
who comes to assure about Ravan's comfortable stay
Being a perfect host ,Kushadwaj maintains his calmness and
apologizes for his inconvenience

Ravan has built himself up so much in his head that
he is willing to rest a while and give the other Kings a chance to fail.

The Dhanush is brought into the hall
with all the pomp and splendor that it so richly deserves.
All the various kings are eager n excited for the Swayamvar to start.

Janak asks about Ravan's absence

Malyavan comes to the court and tells Janak that Ravan
would be a hindrance to the day's entertainment
if he strings the danush first

Sita resplendent in gold and silk enters the hall with
her mother, aunt and her siblings.
All the while she walks her eyes are searching for Ram.
What follows is a very beautiful and poignant scene.
As Sita goes up to the dias to bow down to the danush,
Janak looks on with eyes filled with pride, love and contentment.
He thinks back to the time when the little baby Sita was able to lift the Danush.

Sita's eyes is still in search of Ram.
I believe he will comes...

The actor playing Malyavan was great today
His look of contempt n disgust along with the smirk was splendidly done.

Ravan and his arrogance is going to fail miserably tomorrow, and
all of us have front row seats to witness it.

nice post Mano👏👏👏
I too remember Ravan saying somthing like this
Abhi toh mere bhakti ka pariksha nahi abhi toh aap ke aaradya hone ka pariksha hai
Ravan is too arrogant
Swaarthi aur ahenkaari
Daridra desh Daridra raja really hated his words😡😡
Par acha hai na we should hate him to the core
he is doing well
once again a nice post
Dean when ever u post pm me

Wow Mano what caps and what a writeup, amazing 😃 👏

And title is so apt CONTRAST

What a contrast the CVS have shown between Ram nd Ravan...
One hand we have Ravan who claims to be the greatest shiv Bhakt , wants to take the dhanush as it belongs to shiv ji but his way of talking to the God leaves us in a doubt that is he truly a Bhakt?
That is what happens when arrogance takes over everything..

Ram on the other hand is helping out the same lady whom Sita wanted to help 😳
He is not there to win anything nor to claim his superiority just to help an old lady who has lost her land due to the vanity and arrogance of the so called Shiv Bhakt..
The hul doesn't move a bit 😕 Ram being so shaktishali?
What I felt was that he didn't know the right technique to plough thus this happens..
We saw earlier Sita helping the lady but she couldn't, now Ram too tried his best but couldn't,
I have this feeling that they maybe show that Ram Sita after marriage come back to the lady and combining Sita's ideas about cultivation and Ram's physical strength, together they make her field rejevunate 😃

@Mano: What a beautiful title to describe the episode in one word.👏 Wonderful words to add on to the beauty.
All the collages are mind blowing and today u put in dharm sankat. Yes, i like all ravan collages but dont want to pick one from asura😉. So my pick of the day is Ram changing the hands of old lady from folding to blessing him. Beautiful words uttered by Ram.
Thanks for ur pm.
