Yaar I know,I don't want it either
But it was unnecessary to make that statement
I respect all language

After all we r all Indians
And like u said our beauty is "unity in Diversity"
So mutual respect is very important
But can't stand and watch when my language is questioned
It's my duty to say that
we should be proud that
we have two of worlds most classical language
Shouldn't neglect either one of it
And I am not fighting dear
Just clearing it🤗

!. He was better in todays episode than last 3 days from when he appeared, his delivery was far far better. pls note that

2. Im from bangalore too & I Im proud to say I speak better hindi than many northies, I am just too good, yeah sorry for that self boasting here ahem..😆..LOL..so thats not the problem, he will improve dramatically you wait & see when the Sitaharan time comes which is at least 2 to 3months or more from here according to me.

3. That Mallyavan actor is justawesome withhis diction & delivery with that slight south accent which is deliberate I feel & that feels too authentic, somethingtoo different than whatever Ramayan we saw & again its a plus point for the show

What say..??!!😛😃

Definitely he will improve .. And i am yet to watch today's episode. Really looking forward to see Ravan today :)
Agree about malyavan.. He is one terrific actor.. Am already his fan..:)

I mean which is older Tamil or Sanskirt is going on in all fronts
Archaeological or historical proof is not accurate either
So both languages existed
Ramayan cannot be quoted to prove Tamil
As Ramyan itself
I mean the people who lived doesn't have much historical proof
That is also an issue under debate
But there are Tamil scriptures dating back before Ramayan
Religious belief can't be mixed with History or language
It's a sensitive issue
And proof of Tamil authenticity cannot be taken from a Sanskrit literature(Ramayan)
Ramayan is not ultimate proof of everything
As all language scriptures will glorify
it's own language and try put down others
Saying that only Sanskrit existed hurts Tamil sentiments
If we start debating on that we can go on for ever
It's not relevant here either

I am not saying Sanskrit is any less
But I won't take if Tamil is put down too
It's a still very much alive language with rich literature and
one of the oldest language in the world
And there is no solid Proof that Tamil originated from Sanskrit and vice versa
or that everyone spoke Sanskrit

No one is putting down tamil, nor saying Sanskrit is superior. Believing one is older than the other is not insulting it. Like you said, there is not enough historical evidence to prove which came first. The only thing I said is that I believe Ravan spoke Sanskrit. Valmiki Ramayan may not be evidence for everything, particularly the sanskrit vs. tamil debate, but it can surely be taken as a basis for one's beliefs regarding the culture the characters followed. Some may believe the people of Lanka were tamilians, but in my opinion they spoke Sanskrit. It's not an insult to tamil to believe that, and if I believe that Sanskrit was the prevalent language during vedic times, it's my personal opinion and no one should feel offended by that. Having an opinion is not a personal attack against a particular group. I'm not even interested in debating this topic.

India is home to 100s of languages, and obviously everyone feels their native language is the best. I myself am Telugu and very proud of it, but I wouldn't claim that people in vedic times spoke Telugu.

personally,I feel it depends on opinion. but as per recent proof, Sanskrit and Tamil both existed since very long long ago.As per vedic scriptures, Sanskrit must be first language. at same time, For Son of Ikshvakhu, Bramma created Agastya who believed as Father of Tamil. But Some people (probably atheists) opposing an idea that someone who created complete language pack. They believes people must made a language on mutual consent. And one more thing, Lord Muruga was believed as god of Tamil. but Shiv must know some Language nah? here Sanskrit comes first. OK Take like this. Everything started with 'Om'. Surprisingly, both languages shows 'om' as first word. so both must be successful execution of same source. but as a language, sanskrit would-be first verbal execution. same time one can't deny 'Agathyam' believed as first grammar book of any language. for Atheist, he needs proof. definitely, book won't serve solid proof to him. it depends on individual choice. for me,Sanskrit and Tamil both are twins. it's my take

@Dev: Yes, the actor has southern accent in his dialogue delivery but his flawless acting (so far) just overshadow his defect. I didn't notice this, as I was very busy in hating him😉. Hope he develops the proper accent soon.

U said it as a statement not a opinion
If u had said that" I think all know Sanskrit in lanka"
I would have taken it as a opinion
But simply saying that there was no north south then
All spoke Sankrit is what made me respond
It means that it was the spoken language of Lanka then
Which doesn't have proof whatsoever
Infact there were more divisions then, more kingdoms
Which makes obvious differences
As travelling is not easy,
Lanka itself has diff history attracted to it
Opinion toh anyone can have, but facts are diff altogether

If that's was just ur opinion, let's leave it at that
