She stood
Watching the chariot disappear.
Laxman glanced back just once
And then he was gone.
She stood
Her head held high
No sadness
No anger
No fear
She stood
The trees
The birds
The wind
The tiniest blade of grass
stood silent
As if in Waiting
And then
There was
Just the slightest moment
Deep within her womb
She smiled
Protectively Her hand covered
Her happiness
