@aku yes it was fighting the fears. If a man has to be strong in the physical space, his better half has to manage the mental space in such a way the society trusts the man and his actions.
@swatsu yes we have to face our fears and that fear shouldnt paralyze us from letting go.
@appu thank you for giving me a better understanding of sacriifce and giving. Yes when we sacrifice we expect something and the sorrow itself is the result of this expectation not being met. I did this for you, so you have to do this for me. The problem is when the mind is not at peace the action refuses to be pleasant and neither the giver, nor the taker feels happiness in it.
Yes Arshics fear is the one that makes us take many irrational steps. The fear of the unknown wants us to do things which may not be correct.

@ Shruthi, Sorry for making this late post but I just read the post now and felt like commenting on the same. Hope it doesn't affect. well explained about Sacrifices and Give policy. Ram has already witnessed and seen the tragedy of Sacrifices in his own family which had brought in a feud between his parents and affected the whole family system due to the sacrifices made by his sister. Had his father considered Shatha had given up her daughter rights for the betterment of his kingdom or for her parents, he would not have regretted her decision to become Rishjyashringa's wife and would not have avoid his wife as a coward with a false face in the name of a King. Had his mother considered her daughter's decision as not a sacrifices but a duty of a daughter, she would never grieved for decades and missed her valuable years as wife and also as a queen. Had Shantha not considered her step as sacrifices but her fate to become a learned one, she would have reconciled with her parents long back and they would have had a loving and cordial relationship than suffering on their own. So neither Dashrath was a father to accept to send his daughter to Rishi, nor Kausalya was queen and Shantha never thought as responsible citizen but as an emotional girl deprived of father's love and was eager to gain his nod for her work. (her all time goal is to make her father proud of her steps. So all the 3 involved in this act were selfish in their moves which spoiled the harmony of the whole family (which also brought in Kaikeyi's ambition on a later part). So Ram doesn't want one more half hearted act by his father affect his and his kingdom's peace and prefer his father to give his permission whole heartedly, so that he can go in peace and be successful in his goal.

@jaya do post more. Your posts are always insightful and covers the spectrum end to end. And yes I agree to you. Only when our inner feelings match the outer space real peace will be there. When we try to show something which we are not we will have conflicts only.
