The episode seemed again too short, fast paced and snazzy, it was quite a thrilling watch
We saw two almost opposing roops of Rama

Part 1

The soft hearted raja Rama, for whom happiness of his praja is all important

Who listens to not only what is said ( bhadra), but also those pleas that are unsaid - the mai!

I always wondered how the mai loop closed, today we came to know -

Rama had appointed an official to mAke sure that the woes

of common people are heard and addressed .

He has not only no bhed bhav, but genuinely loves the simpler humble souls of his praja

And eats the kheer so lovingly prepared by mai

This fulfilling her prateeksha and Asha both!

He knows how much his presence meant to those simple people, and even on his birthday

He was more keen to give rather than accept gifts...

Part 2

We saw the veer yodhdha roop of Rama

A valiant fighter, a brave soldier and a fearless protector

Rama, cut off from his soldiers, is unfazed because his brother lakshmana is with him

And together they are more than a match for any rakshasas

While Rama and Lakshmana led from the front, and were ahead of their army

Subahu and Mareech, first sent in their men, watching from a safe distance

Arrogant in the belief that two youngsters are no match for the cruel Giants

Little did they know, of the valour of the two brothers

So, mazedaar episode, establishing Rama as an able heir to the Ayodhya throne

Yes, a fast paced episode, which portrayed the soft, compassionate, empathetic side of Rama as well as his warrior side.
I just hope, the Ram - Laxman jodi do not kill off Mareech and Subahu as yet...

May be they just defeat them and make them run away. 😆

Per my understanding , after Rama killed Tadaka, Viswamitra taught them divya astras , and then they killed both the asuras., when they were interrupting his Yagna.

I know, but to be fair to the asuras, rama and lakshmana looked so small and defenceless in front of them!

Ya, I know, according to the original story, they don't die just yet! I am looking forward to Tadaka Wadh.

And I am looking forward to seeing the grown up Sita also
