Nice post. 😊 I am also one of the persons who will always view this action of Ram to be very wrong. I can never find anything to justify it. It was a great injustice to Mother Sita and also to the women of Ayodhya like Mano pointed out. It is a taint to his character but it doesn't /overshadow/ his good deeds at all which is why we still respect him and worship him and admire the bond between him and Sita.
He made a huge mistake in my opinion and we all know of the great depth of love he had for Sita to know that it would have tormented him to no end to be separated from her physically. You can be connected to someone mentally but you still miss their physical presence non the less. You can hear their voice in your memories but it is but a sliver of satisfaction compared to the great joy you feel hearing their voice in person. So yes, their physical separation would have been agony for him but perhaps that was his punishment as well for taking that damaging decision.

In this Ramayan Siya Ke Ram Serial, I want the writers to show even Lav Kush Story in detail about what made Rama to send Sita to Vanvaas. They have to show here Rama's Reason of Sending Sita due to Praja's Gossiping about her and the impact of this on lav kush's perception about their father Rama after Sita goes to Mother Earth.
They have to clear the misconception of many ppl that Rama was not responsible to send Sita away but the Praja Of Ayodhya was mainly responsible.
thanks agsard and nicley written .. i understand and appreciate your pov .. but the only question i have iswhat ram could have done?he couldn't have gone and forcefully change his praja's views or mindset as change has to come from within..should he have abandoned his praja and left with sita? - would it not be again a great injustice to all the people of ayodya...continue to pretend as he has never heard it and carried on.. ? would it again not be an injustice to sitaThe people would not have come and openly putforth their thoughts as they are king and queen but would they have truly given her all the respect heartfully?the situation i would put forth in krishna's term as 'dharmasankat '... in this period like krishna explains the actions taken at this period cannot be generalized to all situations. or even to society's norms of what is percieved as right and wrong... the actions taken at this situation though may look like a grave injustice are based on karuna or compassion ...again merely my friend its an alternative i putforth... would be very happy to hear a perspective of what indeed ram could have done...Hopefully as the serial proceeds on we could have alot more to discuss... and thanks for the response...

Trust is something that is very powerful and when shown to others it can change people's views. I think if Ram had stood by strongly and declared openly that he had immense faith and trust in Sita to know she will not taint herself in the way the people thought, then that would have been a powerful weapon to make them re-evaluate their own thoughts. After all they respected Ram a lot and knew him to be very righteous so if he is whole heartedly and with great determination declaring that he trusts his wife will never commit the sin which is being gossiped about her then that would have been a very strong stance indeed. The people seeing their king being so sincere and resolved about something like that might have just made them question the validity of their own words.
Some people say he made the decision as /a king/ but I think /the husband/ in him should have /guided/ the king in him in this situation.

What should I call u as?😊Thanks for such detailed replyHopefully we might get some more views and perspective in coming daysLet see how the show handles it tooAnd sorry I mixed it upSome parts were commonNot specifically addressed to uThere were general comments thatRam's good qualities ignored and only abandonment is spoken aboutAnd also the P.S part was common tooFrom ur whole post I can sense thatur r here for discussion not for arguments or fightsLovely interacting with uHope to see u often hereDo make more such posts in future😃

Just a side note though, since this thread is about Sita's abandonment. If they do explore Luv and Kush which I am hoping so much that they do in this show, could you all imagine how heartbreaking it is going to be to see Sita's abandonment and then the scene when she returns to the earth. 😲
Just picturing the depth of emotion Ashish will show in those scenes as Ram is making my heart sink. O_O
