Just purchased the "The book of Ram' by Devdutt Patnaik. Also reading his 'Sita' book and Ramesh Menon's retelling

The series called 'Game of Life' by Shubha Vilas is wonderful. He has included messages relevant in today's life in footnotes and I find those very valuable. Books 1-3 are out right now

OMG Bheegi!! I remember reading this post earlier this month, and I randomly came across it in Mumbai while shopping for books. I forgot you posted this, so I was pretty excited to share my new find. Reread your post just now, jaws dropped, and realized how amazing the subconscious mind works. 😆 Have the exact same comments regarding the footnotes - one of the primary reasons for my initial purchase.

Though, I only found books 1 and 2. Didn't know the third one was out, so didn't ask.
