With all due respect, it's my opinion:

Everyone has different theory of love. Not everyone's opinion matches.

Love at first sight does exist. It grows stronger when two people get to know eachother.

See, love at first sight doesn't necessarily mean falling for looks. There are things called Telepathy, Intuition & positive vibes. When you see a person for first time you might want to know the person or you might be attracted to the person.

Now, if it's only for beauty, then many people wouldn't have tried to persue someone they saw for first time, who isn't very beautiful or the very definition of beautiful. It's also about vibes you know..

Also, in Ruhaan's case, if he were to fall just for beautyhe would have already had a girlfriend. Because, he is a fashion photographer & he would have met much more beautiful girls than Mishti...

So, it's not at all illogical.

For the debate we can say they need to mature but technically it is their money and they are the ones to decide where to invest it.

Ruhaan was smitten by her in the very first sight. That's all. If he has felt that he is in love in that very moment he could have introduced himself to her tried to converse with her or at least tried to know her whereabouts before leaving that place. But he just left without any motive but just with a memory that he met someone for the first time who looked special. Even in the second meet too, he was surprised with the fact that the lady who mesmerized him has kissed him then again there wasn't any motive when he went and tried to converse with her. She told him to back off and he did. He left the place. He wasn't trying to pursue her even though at that time he is not aware that she is in a committed relationship. If he was shallow he could have came to a conclusion that he was fallen in love and followed tried to know her better and tried to be good with her to impress her. But this two moments are reason for him to feel special for someone for the first time.. and it's later when he was staying at Mishti's house he has been knowing her much better and much faster than normal as he was already intrigued by first two incidents and it wasn't in his control to not let him think or know more about her as she is his friends finance cause it's all started even before he knows her as his friends finance. Just if we take a case if Ruhaan was introduce to her as his friends fiance he could have seen her friends finance since first time which couldn't have let him even feel what he has felt for Mishti when he first saw Mishti ...I don't know if I am making any sense. I suppose what makers meant in Ruhaan monologue is that his feelings started for her even before he knows her as Veer finance. Whatever the reason for the first two instance ..what he felt and how he felt I couldn't judge much.

And I don't want to see much into him clicking Mishti's pic at first instance or pulling her hair. I suppose CV's thought that scene could be something asthetic as he is an artist. He might have seen much more beautiful ladies in his profession but if he felt to click this random girl whom he saw at some random place.. may be CV's intention might be like a painter finding his muse from a random person and feeling passionate to paint not as a professional but just for his happiness. He might have felt his muse to click a pick just without any motive in that very moment. I don't want to discuss it how correct it is or not. Any girl in Mishti place supposed to feel intimidated for such a moment when a random person clicking a photo and she felt it as it is about her own personal space. She wasn't remembering that moment happily or whatsoever. My point of saying all this I personally don't feel that their first moment as shallow considering the fact that Ruhaan is an artist and for the fact that how he left from the place without any motive.

And I think there won't be any exact moment for people to fall in love and its with time they will reach this moment that they feel they have to stay together/ feel hard to stay away from each other and in that moment their first meet too would look special and make them feel they were always meant to be since that first incident / fist sight since how its all started.

Ruhaan was upset in Mishveer engagement but it's not like he couldn't stay away from her or can't live without her something that deep which he is feeling now. He could have dealt with that if it was only that much he was feeling. He has clicked a photo of Mishveer's passionate moment in that very engagement and it shows how he accepted the fact.
