Hello everyone! My name is Amrita 😊 and so far I've been a silent member of the Silsila forum. I've been liking the 2nd season enough to make a post about it. The 1st season had some horrible writing and was not as impressive as I thought it would be but it gave us Mauli. Mauli is the reason I stuck around - partially due to how she was written and mostly due to Aditi's phenomenal performance.
With Mauli's journey ending, I had no intention of sticking around to see how Mishti and Pari's story would unfold but then something happened. I caught glimpses of the show as my mom watched it and saw a scene that had me curious enough to watch the 2nd season. The scene in question was Ruhaan finding out Mishti is Veer's fiance. The tension and chemistry between Mishti and Ruhaan had me itching to make a VM. The last couple that enticed that very feeling was Adiya (Aditya and Zoya from Bepannah).
So I watched what has aired of the season so far and have been pleasantly surprised. I'm interested in the characters (loving Pari, Mishti, Ruhaan and Arnav) and where the story takes them. I hope they aren't butchered and so far I don't dislike anyone. As far as pairings go, I would like to see where Mishaan will go. They seem endgame for now just based on foreshadowing and the scenes we've seen so far. I look forward to their individual character growths as well as how the writers develop them romantically.
