I think Mishti's issues do make sense but it should be about losing her perfect family, she did lose Ishaan and Mauli so she is trying to keep everyone else near her.

The Rajdeep statement doesn't make sense. Unless we imagine Pari got to know about Nandini's first husband , there's no such scene in season 1. Also, raping is different from a guy trying to save your life while you're choking. I'm sure Pari knows that.

As for Mishti 's insecurity :

She yearned for her mother to get her a father she knew only as Ishaan.

Then she got to know the father of Pari whom.she refused to share was her father too and he had left her pregnant mother. She grew to hate the man and the daughter she had with the other woman. Kunal patched it up wisely, so Mishti was back to normal. Then she saw deranged Kunal shouting at her mother that she had tried to trap him with false pregnancy when he had wanted to leave with Nandini. That was a clear cut revelation to Mishti how much her father had wanted to leave her mother. Since she has not suffered any memory loss, all these things are deeply etched into her memory.

She grew to love and respect her biological father later on, that doesn't mean that a sight of Nandini still doesn't make her uncomfortable. She has just not attained the level of maturity her mother did. She probably will, otherwise it really is not fair to Pari. In fact, Nandini's photo should hang next to Kunal's. I'm surprised he didn't have one photo of Nandini hanging in his living room when he lived with Radhika. After all, she was his legally wedded wife and he must have done the pooja for his dead wife? He should have made sure Nandini was accepted by his family, he owed her that much. I think they purposely kept Nandini out of the picture to keep the EMA factor alive. Otherwise Radhika could have easily forgiven Nandini too and let her son's wife'S photo hang along with his, since Mauli had forgiven all and the children would have grown accepting everyone.

Mishti has an issue.

They didn't show us that Pari got to know about Nandini's bad marriage in S1 so it doesn't make sense but tomorrow if Pari gets scared of a man laying hand on her and says that this reaction came from her because her mom was raped and beaten by her husband, we will have to imagine that in some time growing up she got to know the truth. Similarly, they didn't show anything about Mishti knowing the truth in S1, we have to image all that and aftereffects of the revelation on her.

This is exactly what we are saying here that they are not showing in episodes that Mishti is in pain, I see posts everyday about her pain, but in episodes they don't have scenes about it. Even today's scene where she was crying was very normal for a bride to be afraid for her future, it happens with everyone, we fear that our happiness will be snatched from us.

I think it's impossible for Kunal not to have Nandini's picture in his house, he left India knowing Nandini and Pari will be rejected by his family. Again we have to imagine what happened but as far as I remember Kunal did have a picture of Nandini in his house.

Why should Pari be afraid of a man who saves her life while she is choking? I still don't understand that logic. It is more likely she'll fall deep in love with him. If someone grabbed her without any reason, she'd react as it is assault. Rajdeep Nandini doesn't come in the picture anywhere. Mishti would react the same way too if any random guy grabbed her.

What do you mean episode don't have scenes of her?

Season 1 clearly showed her insecurity and how bad she reacted to it until corrective steps were taken.

Season 2 shows her cringing when Nandini's pic comes up and voicing aloud her fear that something might ruin her happiness just like her mother's was ruined.

She must wonder what made a decent man born in a decent family leave her mother like that. She knows both Kunal and Mauli were nice people and definitely must wonder what can go wrong between two perfect people like that. It is very natural. If Kunal was like Rajdeep , it was understandable. Since he was quite a decent man won't Misti wonder what went wrong and if that can't happen to her too who is going to marry another decent man.
