No. As viewers, we have constant values and principles and we use those as a gauge to judge a show, movie, book (insert whatever form of media) and those exact values, principles and morals we have do determine how we perceive a show.

We can't and shouldn't let a show "slide" per se, and not take it "seriously" or want an end for it, that we wouldn't want in a real life situation, solely because it was never meant to be moral, or is a show/fake, so on so forth.

Our own morals, values and principles should not change based off of if it is real vs. fake, or if it's my favorite actor vs. my most hated actor, etc.
