Yes, I'm the one who transcribed the interview today.

Shakti said they sped up the EMA, and then it drifted to Mauli being the correct character and everyone else being grey characters, so again showing Mauli was correct and everyone else was grey. But your original comment was butchering, about butchering. What butchered Kunal and Nandini's character was the EMA itself.

The EMA which according to Shakti, was supposed to be love and whose storyline was to be developed, right?

But they sped it up to a 2 week thing, and then the melodrama began, as per Shakti.

So what I'm saying is, the act of having an EMA already butchered Kunal and Nandini, and then only the show drifted to Mauli being correct, and everyone else being grey.

Meaning even if they hadn't drifted, from the majority viewers, EMA would have been wrong and never justified. In fact this is what made them drift to begin with, because they got backlash, petitions signed to ban the show etc. so they knew they had to call a spade a spade and instead of exploring Kunal and Nandini and justifying Kunal and Nandini, and show them as true love, which was the original plan, they now had a black and white show. Mauli on one side who was correct and KuNan on the other who became grey.

Okay so Ishaan is too good so you cant relate. Understandable.

But what about Mouli? She is sleeping on the same bed with her cheater ex...is she relatable? She stayed and still loved the ex's family more than her own family...is tha relatable? So tired of these snide remarks on.Ishaans mahaanta. Ishaan isnt mahaan. On any other show he would have been a standard male lead. But since the actual male lead of this show is piece of shit so it just looks like Ishaan is too good in comparison.

Also kunal wasnt butchered for Ishaan. Kunal was butchured for Nandini and his divine love, way before Ishaan was intoduced. Kunal isn t being a jerk just now. He has been ever since he started falling for Nandini.

Am I the only one who is seeing a pattern here. When talkibg about Ishaan, we talk about how good, bad, boring he is. It is about him. But when talking about Kunal, again its about how Ishaan is too good and too boring. Have you ever seen a ML so despicable and weak that only way he even has a case is by making a supporting character look too good and boring.

My POV about ISHAAN. If n when I feel I wanna write about others, I will.

Ishaan has enough faith in Mouli to not do anything wrong just becaus she has the chance to do it. A d you know what Mouuli hasnt disappointed him yet. Just like Mouli never once thought that Kunal and Nandini being so close was anything wrong. She had full faith m. That where Kunal disppointed.

Kunal cheating , humiliating and abandoning his unborn child and pregnant wife for his mistress has not butchered him. No Ishaan by loving and supporting mauli,and loving mishty like his own child has butchered Kunal ..Ishaan being a good father is making Kunal look bad.. so maybe they should not have brought Ishaan into the show to love Mauli and mishty because that has made Kunal look very bad 😆

They never spoiled one charcter in order to glorify another character...
