Let's start from the beginning. Even when only promo was being aired I knew you were going to be my fav . The wife who didn't even get a POV. The epi stared airing the way Aditi portrayed Mauli so naturally was fantastic. Mauli was a good wife and daughter in law but more than that a great friend and a great human being . You stood by your friend through thick and thin. You were strong, bold and beautiful , who wouldn't love you. Then started the worst period of your life EMA. And I started not only connecting with your beauty as a character but also the pain that would be inflicted on you. Felt your pain when you found out the truth, felt your pain when you want a Kunal back and he rejected you, felt your pain when he threw you out of his life like you were a piece of paper , felt your pain when Kunal refused to believe you are pregnant. But then came what I would now say is BEST MAULI MOMENT , despite the pain and suffering you realised what is more important, self respect . Despite the fact that you deeply loved Kunal and you could have had him you chose yourself and stood up for yourself and told Kunal that you weren't pregnant. š You had moved forward , you were happy. But still unable to fall in love because of the betrayal you got. What I loved the most was that you hadn't lost your innocence and your gold heart because of the betrayal. You had moved forward but not changed . Again AMAZING MAULI MOMENT . You were able to cry for Nandini and forgive her and you were able to love Pari. But then you adimitted during the camp track that you can't hate Kunal and that you love him. Was I disappointed ? Yes ,not because you love some one because you love some one who never cared about you, who threw you like a used paper when he found a more beautiful and homely girl. I was disappointed because I thought you deserve some one much better and I thought that you would think so too. And as per the recent episodes I am pretty certain that you do love Kunal. Am I disappointed with it ? Yes . Am I disappointed that you can't take a firm stand on Kunal or Ishaan? Yes. Am I dissappinted that some one like Ishaan who has been selflessly committed to you is getting hurt whereas a selfish Kunal is going scott free? Yes. But today when you cried your heart out . I realised your predicament. You are truly not able to get over Kunal and you do feel guilty for Ishaan. You are simply just stuck.Again am I disappointed that after all Kunal has done you still can't get over it? Yes. But that is the way writers have choosen to write your character and I have to accept it. I am not disappointed that you love Kunal but more because you don't realise you true worth. That you deserve some one who loves you for who you are and not some one who wants a saree and a kheer girl. I am dissapointed because I like you so much as a character that I simply want the best for you. And best doesn't mean a guy . Best means a life in which you don't feel like a second choice and like you got a consolation prize. But I am disappointed that you are ready to led that life. In the end I would say that your are a good character but disappointed because I believe you could have been an awesome character . Note: I have written this going by the fact that Mauli loves Kunal and I am almost sure that is how this season will end. But if things change I might just retract this. š
