The episode wasn't all bad apart from Kunal's butchering by the writer...
Connected with Ishaan for the first time when he was talking to Mauli on the phone, he loves Mauli and Mishti a lot, but I'd still say that he is the one who forced Mauli into living with Kunal, he is not reacting to Mauli's changed attitude towards him and he has absolutely no reason to doubt Mishti's loyalty for him, Mishti picked him over Mauli, so I don't see the reason for insecurity but I did feel bad for him... He was crying...
One thing I don't understand in his character is that they don't have a motto beyond "Mahan Ishan", we all know he is a good human being, I don't understand why people think being selfish is trait of bad people, every organism is selfish... That's law of the nature. He apologized to Mauli for coming near her or something like that it does not make any sense, he is doing ALOT, taking care of Maunal's daughters all by himself, on top of that apologizing because these kids want to meet their parents, it's not his fault... There was no need to apologize... But of course they have to show that Ishaan is mahan so be it...
Pari - She is living with strangers, her father doesn't remember her, felt bad for her too
Mishti - She is missing her mom, she has her popsie so she is getting that much
Kunal - I felt bad for him too, none really cares about this man, whatever everyone is doing is because they don't want him to die, that's it and that's very very sad... Ishaan was worried that kids didn't eat, Mauli was worried that Ishaan didn't eat, Kunal was worried that Mauli didn't eat but none cares that kunal did not eat, then he dressed up like that (OH MY GOD, Have mercy Shakti) to surprise Mauli and sees that Mauli is with Pari and Mishti...
Mauli - I don't have that connection with Mauli any more, I didn't feel a thing for her, she is too comfortable for someone who is being tortured then I don't like her reaction to Ishaan crying.. That guy is very happy by nature, it is a big deal to see him cry but her reaction was thanda... Moreover she is doing absolutely nothing to get Kunal's memories back
