hi ladies..there's like no media coverage around season 2..we don't even know who they have cast in the lead roles...there's like hardly anything from the media. Silsila is only the second show that I have followed closely via social media and IF..But I find the.media coverage extremely low. We very rarely get any OLVs , interviews with the actors and even the spoilers aren't even spoilers because they are usually about things that have happened already in the episodes...I think I'm comparing it to Naamkarann..where the reporters used to basically camp outside the set..we used to get interviews from the leads, and olvs almost everyday. Even the media articles were written daily and the spoilers most of the time used to come true.. And the leads of Naamkarann were fairly new ..not big established actors like the Silsila cast. The cast of Silsila are all well known established actors who've done quite a lot of work already.. I dont understand why season 2 is not getting promoted..they need to create a buzz..show us the new leads ..that's how people will get interested ...and if its a new young cast...then they can target a new young fan following.. and that's the way to increase viewership..On the last day of Naamkarann shoot we got a whole day live coverage on Instagram ..fans could ask questions and the head of the PH ...took us through the whole set live on Instagram. With Silsila we get nothing ,.I'm yet to see one interview with Aditi and kinshuk...we don't even have an official announcement of the last day shooting or season 2 start date..😕

Well, even though Zain & Aditi were fairly new, Naamkaran itself was very popular. And Silsila is basically criticized for its' amazing plot.

And in the past I have seen when a show is about to end, its' diehard fans start twitting & sometimes even the PH talks about the possibility of coming up with a new season.

Everyone here loves Aditi & wants her to thrive. But I don't think a lot of people would really want to see her invested in a crappy 2nd Season which is a high probability if we go by this season's history.

Plus its' rating isn't that good.

I don't really think a 2nd Season is possible. But it's just my prediction. Don't know what's gonna happen. 😊

I thought season 2 was definitely on. I read in some posts here that season 2 shooting is starting on Monday... And I thought how can season 2 start without any promotion..without revealing who the new cast is going to be ? so what's going ? Is there going to be season 2.. we really don't know anything for certain 😕

May be because it is an online show not a tv show anymore.When it was on tv we used to get olv every 2-3 days.

This show is a commercial flop and had miserable ratings even when on TV. Apart from confrontation week , TRPs were negligent too. Hence very little buzz.

This serial doesn't deserve a season 2
