I just don't like this Mauli, she is a woman who stood up for Nandini when people were calling her a Divorcee and what not, she is a woman who slapped Makhija but now due to one reason or the other she is taking everything, the way she is reacting to the tag of Divorcee and the way Ishaan reacts to it, am I supposed to understand that it's not wrong to degrade a woman just because she got a divorce for some reasons?

lol 😆 fruity i didnt expect aisa koi post bhi ban skta hai.. i mean where did ishaan's mother tried to suppress her?? dont try to make it look like as if mauli has lost her identity and somebody is doing atyachaar on her..

people have no problem if she says "i still love kunal" but have problem if she is willing to adjust in the new family..

Or they are showing how Mauli's life will be in Khanna family, how not all people are like Dida and Radhika

Lol I think Mishty irritates you 😆...but anyway you need to understand a mother child bond and more especially a mother daughter bond.. daughters may be rude to their moms , get angry with them Even say they hate them when they don't get their way..but it lasts a very short time..daughters love their moms tremendously and the wonderful part is that it last forever...even when girls are married with their own families they need and want their moms for so many things ..and we se it with little mishty as well..she may get angry with Mauli...and say she hates her,..but she gets sad thinking that her mom is sad or hurt or lonely. When mishty didn't go with Mauli after Kunal threw her out of the house ...mishty was so sad that her mama will be crying and lonely ...mishty and mauli have a beautiful mother daughter bond that is on par with all mother daughter bonds. Also kids go through different times in their growth ...where they love their parents ...then dislike them at times...we know that the teenage years are bad ,..because kids become rebellious...it's all part of their natural growth process ...then as adults and when mature ..then they get along better with their parents ...

A really great post. At this point, I don't even know what is shown deliberately by the writer & what is our imagination. But as always, many people have put forward their opinion which is more interesting than the show itself & really enjoyed reading those.

Now, my two cents on the current situation.

We always demand for realistic story. Sadly, Dida & Radhika are too good to be true & in reality Sandhya type of MILs are prevalent. I don't like her but I can't say she is not real. My real problem here is with Ishaan.

Let me state this clearly, it's not about endgame.

My mother always says that how a girl or a boy is treated in their in-laws, it is solely based on how his/her spouse in behaving with him/her & how they are getting represented in their new family. Here, the writer has done a seriously crappy job to shape up Ishaan's character. When he was first introduced, he seemed to know Mauli through & through. I had even commented that they looked like a married couple who may not say I love you ten times a day but they are intertwined with each other's life. Ever since he started taking Kunal's help that feeling disappeared. It started looking like a lover boy who is completely oblivious to the other's pain which he wasn't at the beginning.

I was watching this serial where a young city girl gets married to an older village guy under some circumstances. There was a scene where the girl is asked to try their traditional dress. But the guy comes forward & prevents her saying it's not required as she comes from a different background. Seeing the girl's hesitation, he also assures that no one in his family will ever force her to do anything. Now the girl in that show was very strong & confident. But on her first day she needed assurance that she had her husband's full support & once it was proven, she became more comfortable & actively started participating in other matters.

Here that is completely missing. Ishaan may say 100 times how he lucky he is to have Mauli. But knowing his mother, he should have made more gestures which could actually make Mauli comfortable about her status. He is still convincing his mom. He is not showing his firmness. And with due respect, sometimes firmness is necessary no matter who is standing in front of you.

I don't know if I am the only one here but this mission of Kunal & Ishaan to make Mauli love him has practically destroyed her.

Mauli was a strong person. Someone who had stood against the society for Nandini. But she could do that because she had a strong family support & was confident. She was never alone. After Nandini, she had Kunal. When Kunal left, she had Dida & Radhika. In some weird way, Nandini too was there for her to listen to her scolding & anguish. Nandini did accept that she was wrong. So Mauli had a belief that she was the right one with whom something terrible had happened.

But with Dida, Radhika & Mishti backing up, she became completely lonely & for the first time she thought herself to be at fault. So there is no longer that strength that had kept her going.

Now it's more like BHAGWAN KE NAAM PE DE DE BABA!!! Whatever she is receiving, she is trying to hold onto that little piece. That's how the strong Mauli has been destroyed completely.

So, for me it's just deliberate destruction of a girl in name of so called patient, selfless love

that is no condition...that is pure love for mauli...aunty also she accepted when mehek advise her...till she knows the truth even now when she know the truth she is silent...never once told mauli abt her wish to anyone except for her father and mehek...she never forced mauli neither force her buddy..she just told her wish when mehek advise her she understood it...thats the difference...

Nandini s wish u mean which Pari heard. I have not seen Pari s pure love for Mauli in this show and I have seen all episodes.

she is criticised for keeping relation with kunal and pari in front of him not even dida radhika..

Mauli had taken alot of crap from everyone and it actually feels bad that her own daughter is no less, can you tell me one scene where Mishti told Mauli that she loves her?

Or she is a good mother, I started disliking Mishti when she accused Mauli of separating her from Kunal so she hates her biological father, she says that he is not like lion king and he abandoned them but to hurt Mauli she said that Mauli took her father Kunal away from her...

After that she has done nothing to make me feel good about this character, she is a disappointment ..

I am not saying Ishaan has to constantly praise Mauli. Because you are right. That will make it look more fake. But you can't possibly say that Ishaan is unaware of her mother's feelings. And as I had mentioned in my comment about another show, there the guy didn't say I love you. There he showed his support in front of his family members in a way which made the girl realize that no matter what happens, she has her husband's support. Ishaan's sweet smile isn't enough. So far he hasn't really taken that sort of a stand which could make Sandhya realize that she better shut her mouth about Mauli..

okay got ur point.. !! i really wanted ishaan to know the real reasons.. i am not saying he is fully unaware.. but he isnt fully aware..!

I don't have a problem with Mauli adjusting a bit. Because, let's face it, in every relationship we do adjust to make the other one happy. And we saw Radhika after 3 years of MauNal marriage. We don't know how they adjusted with each other.

The problem is, when I look at Mauli, I can see her smiling at Ishaan's attention but also sadness in her eyes. And it's always there. I feel she knows Ishaan loves her & will be there for her. But the strong emotional connect or I should say the feeling of confidence that a wife feels, that is lost in Mauli. Se hasn't put her past behind. Rather she was kicked out of it & now she is like BACHI KUCHI CHEEZ KO GAWA NAHI SAKTE. That's how I feel..

no no!! dont say like that.. arent u watching the show these days? there is no sadness in mauli's eyes.. rather she was enjoying , dancing, laughing, joking and was full of life..
