You said it. I was expecting Mauli to handle the situation well but I see Kunal doing a better job of it. Mishti is confused, she wants answers to whole lot of question but instead of addressing them, she is putting it all under the rug. Even if Mishti does not want to meet Kunal, Mauli should have address the fact that Mishti thinks its because of her that her father left. That a huge thing for a child to think and say and it can have long term repercussions on a child psychology. Now, how much ever Ishaan loves her, she will always have that in the back of her mind unless its cleared. Also, the hate that Mishti is showing towards Pari, Mauli is not addressing the root cause of it. She should understand why Mishti is feeling this way and that is because Mishti is blaming Pari or is jealous of Pari because in her mind, Kunal prefers Pari over Mishti. Not meeting each other is not a solution but this shows has never been great at communication.
Now all my hopes are on Kunal to address this situation in mature way. I think I would love to see a Kunal-Mishti scene where she asks him "why you left us" and he tells that, I left because i did not love your mother but that does not mean that I do no love you. I will always love you, I will be there for you and I will wait for your forgiveness for abandoning you" This conversation should be between Mauli and Mishti but the current Kunal is more capable of doing it.

Even I was expecting that Mauli will speak with Mishti, but right now, writer thinks that kunal has been butchered so bad that he has to come out a better character than Mauli so she is trying to 1 Put the blame of Kunal leaving on Mauli
2 Making Mauli incompetent as a mom
This is the problem with itv, growth of characters is not with characters actually growing but they ruin other characters to show one good.
They ruined Kunal completely before leap but due to circumstances they had to kill Nandini, now Nandini is dead and Kunal has been butchered completely.. So they have to show him as a perfect father now and Mauli is the worst mother, who can't even see that her daughter is suffering

I don't think they are ruining Mauli at all or showing her as an incompetent mom. Parents aren't perfect magical creatures. They just try to do the best they can do and some decisions they get right and others they don't. Same with Mauli. She is the leading lady of the show. I don't feel they are butchering her character if she makes mistakes like a regular person. I think the show has always shown she is one heck of a mother. Even with this new CD thing they just told us you can't do better than Mauli. Nandini on her deathbed didn't ask Kunal to move on and marry and find Pari a mother. Instead she looked toward the woman who hates her because Mauli is filled with so much love and goodness that there would be no better mother than her.

I don't know what to make of that CD to be honest so right now I am taking that as ek pagal aurat ki behuda demand, that's it.
It has nothing to do with the kind of mom Mauli is, because these people are the ones who believe that Mauli used pregnancy as a tool to keep Kunal with her.
I have a problem with the word "Hate", kids should not know this word in first place, Mauli as a character has been forgiving, she is impulsive, she can't read people so as far as she was not reading Mishti, It was consistent with her character, but how can she not object to use of words like "Hatred" from Mishti? How many times did she tell people "Mishti to Kunal aur Pari ko hate karti hai", that does not go with Mauli's character sketch.
Also, since leap, not a single Mother - Daughter scene between Mauli and Mishti, Kunal and Pari have these scenes in every episode.
Now ideally, the conversation Mauli should have had with Mishti after revelation, I bet Kunal will get to do it because he is a better parent.
I don't have problems with Kunal being a better parent but give Mauli something

Thank you!!! I see people cheering for Mishti. I am so confused! Do any of these people have children or are they around children? Why would we want a 5 year old girl to be in so much pain that she is lashing out like this? You used the perfect phrase, about putting it under the rug. Mauli and Ishaan's solution is horrible. Mishti is a child. Of course her solution is going to be to run away from the person who hurt her. She ran away from Mauli and told her she hates her because she won't spend time with them. She ran away from her grandmothers because they won't give her ice cream. This is not about her self respect. This is about Mishti trying to figure out how to not hurt. She will never forget that she has a father who loves another daughter and not her. She went from loving Pari so much to almost physically hurting her. You can take Pari from her environment so there is no actual confrontation but would that change Mishti's feelings? Will Mishti feel less jealous and rejected? No. She will simply carry this hate with her for the rest of her life.I do understand how tricky of a situation this is and how it is going to be almost impossible to explain this to Mishti without the risk of making Mauli's relationship with Mishti bad. If Kunal gets 99% of the blame for leaving Mauli and hoping the child was a lie then Mauli gets at least 1% for hiding the truth (I am not personally blaming her because I loved that. Just objectively speaking). How will Mauli tell Mishti that Kunal didn't actually leave Mishti, his child, without telling her that he assumed she wasn't real because Mauli let him. So they do need to tread carefully. But at least Mauli should be trying to have this difficult conversation. Baby steps. At this moment it should start with your father does love you and he didn't knowingly leave you so this little girl doesn't have to hurt.

Gajra is messing with Mauli now
She is practically trying to erase the EMA part and the part where Kunal accused Mauli of lying. The whole blame is shifting to Mauli so Kunal can become a positive character.
She does not understand that to make Kunal positive she doesn't have to erase his past, it's not possible, she has to correct it.
Kunal and Nandini never apologize, not once for cheating on Mauli, not once Kunal has apologized to Mauli for doubting her pregnancy because this writer thinks apology makes Kunal wrong. I am really not understanding anything that is going on in the show
