You said it. I was expecting Mauli to handle the situation well but I see Kunal doing a better job of it. Mishti is confused, she wants answers to whole lot of question but instead of addressing them, she is putting it all under the rug. Even if Mishti does not want to meet Kunal, Mauli should have address the fact that Mishti thinks its because of her that her father left. That a huge thing for a child to think and say and it can have long term repercussions on a child psychology. Now, how much ever Ishaan loves her, she will always have that in the back of her mind unless its cleared. Also, the hate that Mishti is showing towards Pari, Mauli is not addressing the root cause of it. She should understand why Mishti is feeling this way and that is because Mishti is blaming Pari or is jealous of Pari because in her mind, Kunal prefers Pari over Mishti. Not meeting each other is not a solution but this shows has never been great at communication.
Now all my hopes are on Kunal to address this situation in mature way. I think I would love to see a Kunal-Mishti scene where she asks him "why you left us" and he tells that, I left because i did not love your mother but that does not mean that I do no love you. I will always love you, I will be there for you and I will wait for your forgiveness for abandoning you" This conversation should be between Mauli and Mishti but the current Kunal is more capable of doing it.

Thank you!!! I see people cheering for Mishti. I am so confused! Do any of these people have children or are they around children? Why would we want a 5 year old girl to be in so much pain that she is lashing out like this? You used the perfect phrase, about putting it under the rug. Mauli and Ishaan's solution is horrible. Mishti is a child. Of course her solution is going to be to run away from the person who hurt her. She ran away from Mauli and told her she hates her because she won't spend time with them. She ran away from her grandmothers because they won't give her ice cream. This is not about her self respect. This is about Mishti trying to figure out how to not hurt. She will never forget that she has a father who loves another daughter and not her. She went from loving Pari so much to almost physically hurting her. You can take Pari from her environment so there is no actual confrontation but would that change Mishti's feelings? Will Mishti feel less jealous and rejected? No. She will simply carry this hate with her for the rest of her life.

I do understand how tricky of a situation this is and how it is going to be almost impossible to explain this to Mishti without the risk of making Mauli's relationship with Mishti bad. If Kunal gets 99% of the blame for leaving Mauli and hoping the child was a lie then Mauli gets at least 1% for hiding the truth (I am not personally blaming her because I loved that. Just objectively speaking). How will Mauli tell Mishti that Kunal didn't actually leave Mishti, his child, without telling her that he assumed she wasn't real because Mauli let him. So they do need to tread carefully. But at least Mauli should be trying to have this difficult conversation. Baby steps. At this moment it should start with your father does love you and he didn't knowingly leave you so this little girl doesn't have to hurt.

Even I was expecting that Mauli will speak with Mishti, but right now, writer thinks that kunal has been butchered so bad that he has to come out a better character than Mauli so she is trying to 1 Put the blame of Kunal leaving on Mauli
2 Making Mauli incompetent as a mom

This is the problem with itv, growth of characters is not with characters actually growing but they ruin other characters to show one good.

They ruined Kunal completely before leap but due to circumstances they had to kill Nandini, now Nandini is dead and Kunal has been butchered completely.. So they have to show him as a perfect father now and Mauli is the worst mother, who can't even see that her daughter is suffering

I don't think they are ruining Mauli at all or showing her as an incompetent mom. Parents aren't perfect magical creatures. They just try to do the best they can do and some decisions they get right and others they don't. Same with Mauli. She is the leading lady of the show. I don't feel they are butchering her character if she makes mistakes like a regular person. I think the show has always shown she is one heck of a mother. Even with this new CD thing they just told us you can't do better than Mauli. Nandini on her deathbed didn't ask Kunal to move on and marry and find Pari a mother. Instead she looked toward the woman who hates her because Mauli is filled with so much love and goodness that there would be no better mother than her.

I don't know what to make of that CD to be honest so right now I am taking that as ek pagal aurat ki behuda demand, that's it.

It has nothing to do with the kind of mom Mauli is, because these people are the ones who believe that Mauli used pregnancy as a tool to keep Kunal with her.

I have a problem with the word "Hate", kids should not know this word in first place, Mauli as a character has been forgiving, she is impulsive, she can't read people so as far as she was not reading Mishti, It was consistent with her character, but how can she not object to use of words like "Hatred" from Mishti? How many times did she tell people "Mishti to Kunal aur Pari ko hate karti hai", that does not go with Mauli's character sketch.

Also, since leap, not a single Mother - Daughter scene between Mauli and Mishti, Kunal and Pari have these scenes in every episode.
Now ideally, the conversation Mauli should have had with Mishti after revelation, I bet Kunal will get to do it because he is a better parent.
I don't have problems with Kunal being a better parent but give Mauli something

Not many will like my opinion..
MAULI is a good person.. but very bad at judging people's mind even if they are her own..
She was in la la land when kunal started moving away from her..
When Nandhini was back stabbing her .
Now completely incapable of handling her daughters emotions.. eveytime they show ishaan comes to rescue or its dadi or dida.. frankly lady please grow up.. hard working and good heart gets you only so far .. you need to learn to handle relationships too.. with this kinda attitude very soon you will be pushing ishaan away too..

I disagree with Kunal and Mishti staying in attachment.

1. First of all Kunal was never her father or still not. Just by donating sperm no one turns father. Agar aisa hai toh all the rapists would be a father. So no. He is not a father.

2. Mishti doesn't know Kunal. She found her father in Ishan. Ishan is her father. Ishan is a stable man with normal mind and man who can give her peace of mind. Right now she needs lots of support and care. Which is not possible for Kunal to give. If he comes near to Mishti she will raise lots of questions and these are her right to ask.---------Why did you leave me? Why did you not stay with mom? Why did you choose Pari's mom? Kunal; can never answer these question when she is just a six year old kid. You can't force a 6year old kid to suffer or dump pile of mental pressure on her head. Six year old kid doesn't understand those.

3. If Kunal or Mauli forces Mishti here are the things which may happen ---------she will get angrier and she would react violently which she is already doing. And the fact is that it is not possible for anyone to force a six year old to understand what happens in senior world.
Next she will go to frustration as her mother is not supporting her. It is not possible for Mauli to support Mishti too. As Mauli herself is going through a mental trauma. Uparse she is such a nice lady.
Pari has no mother...you have to remember that. She is more younger than Mishti. I guess 3. It's harder for her to accept all these. Kids----------they are not robots or dolls. She too will suffer.

Once again there will be a fight from Pari's side just like her mom...and she will also turn into another psychological patient. Who will suffer from insecurity.

Mishti will feel lonely. Mom is "Adarsh ki murat". Kunal is not capable to be her father only as he has his daughter Pari . She will end in depression...which may cause more anger and frustration in her life.

The most important thing a child needs is "Love". Love needs to be peaceful. It can't go with violent questions like "Why did you leave me?" Besides Mishti doesn't know Kunal. She knows Ishan as her Dad. I think she is also suffering from a fear of losing Ishan too. As she loves Ishan very much. She has stronger bonding with Ishan than Mauli. At the age of six snatching away from a lovable man like Ishan hurts a child extremely. This might be the other reason why Mishti is so mad. She was alright when she heard Pari's papa is her Dad. But her anger became stronger when Kunal came to Mauli's house. His behavior and aggressiveness made her insecure. So he needs to step back.

Year 2018 is ending. And now there are couples who take help of other's sperm and ovum to produce child. Technology is there now. Aab someone donated a sperm so he is the father kind of attitude needs to be stopped. Mauli is a Doctor and she needs to keep this in her mind. But for that she herself at first need to see some psychiatrist. Then explain this to her daughter. She needs to show Kunal as a sperm Donner not a father. Marrying a responsible and intelligent man like Ishan is the first great step in her life ever since Kunal left. She needs to marry him fast, spend more quality time with him so that Mishti can get out of her fear. If needed kiss Ishan too. They are going to marry very soon. So what's wrong? But for this she needs to take professional help of a psychiatrist.

And for Kunal ...big deal. Maja le raha tha ...bacca ho gayaa. He himself was surprised when Mauli got preganant. So no contribution from this jerk. So why asking for "what happened to my sperm???" Why he is interfering so much in Mauli's life? This happens when Mauli turns the beti of sasuma. Toh chalo rakhi bhi bandh lo. Moma ka beta bhai hota hai.

Kunal -Mishti bonding nooo need. He is not her father and she is not her daughter.

Totally agree with you that Kunal was to be blamed but Mauli was also wrong in hiding the truth. I also agree that it's a tricky situation and Mishti is very vulnerable at this moment. Children are very perceptive and at this moment all she wants to know is that her father loves her as much as he loves Pari. See Pari has experienced loss and hence she is more matured of the two but Mishti has always had people around her who loved her unconditionally. So finding out about her father and then finding out he left her and loves another daughter is a huge blow for her. Her pushing Mauli to kiss Ishaan was the sign of her insecurity that may be her mother will choose kunal and thus Pari over her. Mishti needs to have one on one, heart to heart with Mauli and Kunal. Frankly, looking at both their character sketches at this moment, Kunal is more capable of getting Mishti to a place where she can go back to being the emotional healthy child that she was before revelation. It might be because he is already dealt with such a delicate situation with Pari when her mother died but If Mauli listens to Ishaan suggestion then they are heading towards tough times.

I actually also feel that Mauli needs to have an heart to heart conversation with someone because she has so much suppressed within her. She is emotionally vulnerable and all she thinks about is protecting Mishti because she herself is so dependent on her emotionally. Might be because of Kunal betrayal but it's unhealthy for both.Mauli is forgetting that a mother's duty is also to ensure that your child is capable of facing difficult situations. Running away or shielding her from this is not a solution nor right. As you said Baby steps but so very necessary.

Kunal and Nandini never apologize, not once for cheating on Mauli, not once Kunal has apologized to Mauli for doubting her pregnancy because this writer thinks apology makes Kunal wrong. I am really not understanding anything that is going on in the show

Absolutely spot on! The one thing I've been noticing is that they are visibly trying to act like the Kunan EMA and all mistakes committed by kunal had never even happened, and trying to make kunal appear too good, perfect and a bechara. This is what angers me about this show. 😔
