its not a fact. its an opinion.. he may be wrong if reality had hit upon him. but neither he nore mauli and nor even we can be sure of what could have happened if he had stayed back..

i am just saying his defense wasnt bad or fake but yes his accusations had no base..


@abhiya --- i have also complained about this that he didnt spare a single thought about mauli and her pregnancy, about their future together .
but the entire thing happened in one day.. he came back they had karvachauth pooja just the very next day and rest is history..
we dont know what he could have done if given more time. although in my personal opinion it seems impossible to imagine that he would have accepted his fate happily but its just an assumption..

if i were kunal i would have said the same things..

to everyone -- lets not forget that what we think we could have done in a certain situation can be totally different in reality.. but that doesnt mean our thoughts/emotions about that situation are fake..
kunal said nandini is his destiny and mauli was just a padaav is the best example here.. he thought that nandini is his destiny but he had to surrender when reality hit upon him.. it doesnt mean that his words about nandini were fake..

So he basically starts having thus doubt when he discovers that Mauli is about to marry Ishaan , so he knows Mauli can't sleep with him and have a baby before wedlock. That's why he strongly doubted that he could be the father.

So this actually made it look that he can never doubt Mauli's values. He did earn some respect in my eyes with this.

Secondly, when he came to know Mishti is his daughter and saw her for the first time , his fatherly emotions were visible, especially with the way he was talking to Pari about having aa friend cum sister, he was happy for real.

So inspite of all that he has done to Mauli, it' possibly looks like he would have somehow accepted his fate with regards to his divine love and be a father to Mishti, though he'd have grieved for his divine love for ages before he came around .

However, since the guy never showed any repenting over his actions it's hard to consider or trust his Shayads and makes us go harsh on him I guess.

u have watched today's episode u have seen him correcting himself when he said "hamari beti" and corrected immediately it to "tumhari beti". he isnt claiming any rights on mishti.. he knows he was wrong and probably has no custody rights on mishti.. (not legally but morally)
whether nandini was alive or not. he would have behaved the same as far as mishti is concerned.. as it has nothing to do with his getting back to mauli..

@noumi - co-parenting isnt easy when u have such toxic experience with ur ex husband.. lets see what kunal wants..i dont think he is thinking about co-parenting ( if u have seen today's episode)

bold 2 -- ditto!! even they show qaulities in him, i still dont want her to fall for him. even if she has feelings for him i dont want to trust him again.. she had tried everything in past.. everything.. kept her self respect aside but he didnt come back.. now since nandini is dead i want him to respect nandini and his so called love and never think about mauli again.

actually post isnt actually about whether he could have accepted his fate or not butitss about him assuming that it could have worked. and he isnt wrong here.. we also feel at some point in life that aisa hota toh main aise karta/karti..
