Hmm, you are correct, its hard for mishti to suddenly accept someone as his father. It will take time but its not impossible as the child is only 5 years old. But, more than that its hard to accept that someone is ready to accept a divorcee woman with a girl child that too after proposing her three years ago. Ishaan's character is too good to be true. Its not even shown that from where he came and how did he become an important part of their family. There is some mystery to his character.
