Actors are doing there job. They don't have much say in the script they get. All they can do is stop on improvisation in their acting only. Family knows that they are playing a character. So, they don't associate the characters with the real actors. I mean it's their job that rarely affects the real them.

I mean Vatsal once said, his mother hated that he was playing a rapist in EHT, but then it was his job to play a character.

So, actors need not be brought into this. They are just doing the act on the script they have been given. I mean they laugh too much Behind the scenes.

Someone can play a totally negative and ruthless character and they'll be commended on it just like Abhinav was appreciated on playing Rajdeep but why would you ageee to play a character that doesn't make any sense is beyond me??? You do realize that actos are bound by contracts. Breaking contracts is considered unprofessional that no sensible actor would want as a quality on their resume.

Besides, breaking a contract comes at a price in financial and prestige terms.

It was easy for abhinav since he was a negative character from the beginning.

It's not actos fault is writers messed up their characters completely.

Why sign up under such clauses? You can't always blame the contracts. I am sure they read them thoroughly before signing them so they themselves are responsible for putting themselves in such predicament. Plus it's not uncommon for u to hear that an actor left the show because they weren't satisfied with their role

Nor am I commenting on acting or character of nandini. But about this contract , an actors contract is inflexible. It is signed for 1 year . Agreed they are paid handsomely . But if they break the contract the channel can sue the actor heftily . The carrier going for a toss is one thing but cutting a term in jail is another thing . I am sure when it comes to moral compass and stuff what would any one choose , being politically correct and going to jail and running ur carrier or being politically incorrect and be happy .

You can make mistakes in ur carrier . Every one has made mistakes . That does not mean you are wrong always . And to say another aspect yes it is like they are holding a gun at your head .

Secondly actors can leave , but they need to give notice of 3 months atleast .

And it will be revealed only 10 days before to audience by professional phs

So we never know if she is gonna walk out or their is over haul .

Thirdly , actors interfering in writing process in strictly frowned upon . If u dare to speak against it , you will be heavily criticised and no TV actors have no freedom . Hence many have quit TV daily soaps because working hours are bad, no time for family , ni creative satisfaction and liberty .
