@pamk06 -- guess the question is how are we supposed to interpret these two kunals? that nandini is actually healthy for him because he is more free to be himself, to be assertive? or that the real kunal has no voice and is a coward? it is really difficult to understand what's going on because there is such a stark contrast between the two kunals. the selfish kunal is so much easier to understand as he is assertive and opens his mouth. it is a real mystery to why this kunal v2.0 disappears whenever he is at home.

@summerrain7 -- even I kept waiting for nandini's kunal to come out of at least frustration and declare that this is ridiculous. he could have said that he agreed to come home but he cannot participate and pretend that all is well. actually I don't understand why mauli agreed to it either. if she can kick him out of the bedroom, then she can certainly tell dadi and his mom that there will be no celebrations because there is nothing to celebrate. but even mauli has lost her voice.

Actually the more I write about this Kunal and also of the lack of the talk in their house , the more I feel ithat Nandini is actually good for him or "No wonder he fell for her.

I think the emergence or assertiveness is on the terms of priority right. For him, Nandini's happiness is utmost important, then his family, then Mauli and then his own (i am not sure Mauli is before or after family) So, totally guessing her, if he would have known that Dida is sending live feed to Nandini, he would have rebelled because her happiness is at stake. Then, family. So at that point he knew that Dida wanted this and her happiness is at stake so even though it was a torture for him and Mauli and he hated it, knew it was wrong, he continued without saying a word. I do feel though that if Mauli would have said No, he would have supported it but he himself would not because of Dida.

Last night's episode was such a "Kuch Bhi" episode... Matlab Kuch Bhiii!!!!😲

If they were to get rid of the background music and the lines of those other show characters, was there anything of substance in last night's episode?? Dida did give a few instructions like a ring master to Kunal and Mauli and that's all the sound byte we got. Silence sometimes can be more impactful than words, but clearly there can't be just silence at this stage of the story.

Pamk06 - yetserday there were moments when I felt that, out of sheer frustration Nandini ka Kunal might make an appearance. I also expected Mauli to just shun everything and walk out at one point. But sadly nothing happened and we got more of those pukeworthy symbolisms.

Aur yeh Dida toh bohat tedi cheez nikli. She turned out to be one of those women who thinks that " mere phool jaise baache ko us aurat ne behlaya puslaya hai." If she changes her mind , then Kunal will come back to Mauli. And Yamini is another lost cause, did she even make an appearance yesterday? What stops her from having a private conversation with Kunal? Why does she not want to know what her son is up to?? She is acting as though she expected Kunal to do something like this. Like it was meant to happen or something!!

Such a dysfunctional family! And what about Mauli's parents?? Where did they go missing ?? Her mother, I am sure will be happy with this set up but what about her father?? This is beginning to look extremely UNREAL now!

And this is what happens on most shows. Zabardast ka track track dikhana ke chakkar mein they make all the characters look stupid .

Also , sometimes I feel the makers are loathe to make them talk because they fear that the leads will then look completely grey. They made Kunal get into an EMA, without revealing anything about his thought process. And whatever he was shown doing till now was shown in such a way, that it looks like he was merely reacting to circumstances, except of course for that love confession.

If they plan to continue these meaningless torture episodes, I won't stick around for long.

Nandini again baffled me yesterday - Mauli's mother's words seems to have affected her but what about Mauli's words??? Mauli also said the same thing about a woman's sajna savarna.. I think we should try dissecting Nandini's character again. I shall try to put down my thoughts and confusions about Nandini later, when I get the time.

Sachi mein, Bawre Naina was the previous title. Would have definitely work as only " Nainas are talking here.

I know showbiz is entertainment but thoda social responsibility. What message are we sending here. If your husband is enticed, blame yourself or the other woman. Do not blame him and if you want him back, do pooja. Nothing against it but they also show the other side of how to fix things. Dida though old is quite modern when it comes to drinking then why not in this case too. This is a doctors house and Mauli is a gynecologist, so definitely the word counseling must not be a new concept in their household.

I do wish someone shows Dida and Mauli mom those signal CCTV videos and of bus stand and then they will know, how crazy their grandson is and who stopped whom. Would definitely be a reality check for them.

Regarding Nandini, not showing Maulis words is intentional or just editing mistake but I at least happy that something is finally piercing that bubble and she has started thinking.

I actually see two Kunal and CVs have been very consistent with this. One is Nandini's Kunal who we see only when he with her or fighting for her. He is strong, decision making , not tolerating any nonsense kind of a person. We also shades of this one when someone is wrongly accused, like in front of his MIL while defending aMauli and also when his BIL eloped.

Then there is this other Kunal who just does not argue, does not speak, does not take any decision related to family, who has learnt to give up to the woman in his life, who just goes with the flow of life almost like all those husbands who claim they have given up arguing with wives ( not true though) and blows up when there is emotional overload and even then his family shuts him down.

If you look, you can actually see the differences in behavior and body language. Shakti and the director has really done a good job there.

I agree with both of your comments. I feel like at the end of the day Kunal is really a family man. He doesn't want to upset his family members (hence why he didn't say anything) and he doesn't want them to be angry at him either. He wants to create the least amount of problems. I'm glad he knows that he's wrong and he's said it too. Unfortunately, it's Dida and Mauli's mom that have been the problems. They are not blaming the person who is actually responsible for the betrayal. Yes you can blame Nandani but in this society, no matter what you believe, friendship is never considered to be in a higher standard than a marriage. It goes without saying (apparently not) that Kunal should never have cheated on his wife. But these two women are not blaming him, are not giving him the backlash that he needs to fully understand that what he did was wrong. And then maybe if his love for Nandani is really as strong as he makes it out to be, he would have said something out loud. If Dida and Mauli's mom, who has the most power and the biggest voice respectively, had also blamed Kunal, the divorce process would have probably been over and done with.

Honestly, now I want Kunal and only Kunal to do something about this situation. He is the one who initiated this EMA, so if he wants Nanidni in his life then he needs to take initiative for it, if he has to go through the guilt of hurting his family (damage is already done BTW) or even Mauli , then so be it. I am so cheesed off with this character right now, that until and unless I see him take action in the right direction, he as a character will have no credibility in my eyes.

So they will make Mauli suffer a little more so that the audience can burn in righteous anger and they will continue to watch until her character gets some justice. This is the kind of stuff that they hope will get them TRPs. Do I need to say who will again get butchered the most? 😃

Ofcourse, it's so obvious what they are doing. It will all depend on TRP this week, if it increases then they will keep Mauli and Kunal together as that's the promo they showed which they might believ pulled people.

Can anyone tell me, what exactly did Kunal tell Nandini about his one month stay.? Did he say it was just to take care of Dida or did he tell her the truth? I know he did not tell her about the Puja. I had to step away from the TV and so missed it.
