I am of the same mindset- in a relationship the one who is committed has the burden of proof. When you commit then you be loyal to that commitment. If you do fall out of that love or are conflicted about it then best to talk to your partner and even after that you remain conflicted then best to leave. But this whole , while I figure out what to do about Nandini, I don't want to rock the boat with Mauli " is no hero in my book.

Agreed...

Kunal...so far he is the most butchered character in the show. Actually one of my friend's father was in an EMA. Of course this show is realistic in that case. EMA is not a rare thing to happen. But here the mistake is they are trying to give a sacred love story image to this bullshit. Its OK to have feelings. Even if you are married even if you are in relation with another person its OK we'll get attracted to someother ppl aswell. But cheating your partner is 🤬 kunal... If it was me in his position even before I express my feelings to nandini I would share it with mauli. Whatever be the consequences... I think in a relation this kind of openness is necessary. So far the mistake is with kunal.

Bold@ Tell me about it. His feelings came after that dance, it could be her beauty, dance anything. The same question comws to my mind, whatever Kunal has for Nandini it's all outwardly and it can change anytime.

In fact, I was having an argument with a guy in another SM just yesterday. His pov was it's the traditional qualities of Nandini which attarcted Kunal. Even if it's those qualities of hers, there will be always someone who's more better than one other. Would Kunal fall for them too? As expected the guy I was arguing with never replied...So itall comes down to what a jerk Kunal is...Hypoctire kahinka

Nandini never eyed Kunal with anything other than mere r espect as her freind's husband before the so called Baba's stupid foretelling happened. The starting point was Kunal. His feelings which came after seeing her dance in rain its so shallow, more like a mere attraction. Nandini still has justification coz of the bitter abusive marriage she went through. But there's none for Kunal. He's absolutely remorseless unlike Nandini.

I rewatched the episode and I don't see it's a creepy stare. Also camera doesn't focus on Nandani body part. Means Kunal is looking Nandani as a whole not the wet body of her. It could be the beauty of a person that Kunal is first time looking at Nandani. What is running on Kunal mind is not shown

My only viewpoint is people are exaggerating which is not shown.

I am taking an example of what if I exaggerate Nandani scene. Let me remind you episode which I felt is way beyond respect. When Nandani cooking class succeed, she only gave credit to Kunal. Not a word for Mauli. What was that. Is not some kind of hint to Kunal. And she hugged Kunal and run away as soon as she saw Mauli. What was that. It's like saying to Kunal, behind the back of Mauli we can do many thing

You are right...its not exaggeration...she could have thanked Mauli too and she should have...which is why i believe nandini cannot be absolved of her wrongdoings but her blame is a lot less because its Kunal who's strayed in a marriage...

Nandini is doing many mistakes after she started to have feelings for Kunal. She doesn't have the guts to confess this to Mauli, and she's started to act on her feelings in Mauli's absence, like hugging Kunal. Its wrong and there's no excuses there. But since she had a bad Husband her emotions are somehow reasonable unlike Kunal who is doing this nonsense in spite of having a good wife like Mauli.

His feelings may not be lust exactly, but it's not Love either. Its more like an attraction.

Exactly!!!! I think it is possible to fall out of love and fall in love with another but if I am seeing this deep love then I need substance behind it. How can watching someone dance makes one fall in love? is it even love, or lust? or even infatuation? Plus when Kunal is shown to be in love with his wife, this whole thing feels contrived.

How can the traditional qualities attract him? I haven't seen that, did they show it in the previous episodes and you are correct what if someone else with better qualities comes along? then what?

My biggest issue with Kunal's character is his dishonesty towards his wife. In my opinion emotional cheating is worse than physical cheating because once emotions gets involved it is very hard to move on. One can feel lust and give in, yes it is just as bad but with emotions it is on a more deeper level.

Him a trophy? yeah sure - a trophy to show how dumb one can be 😉

Falling out of love and falling for another is ok, like many even o wanted to see what makes Kunal fall for Nandini. There was a need to show a valid reason like a emotional connect through some heart to heart conversations where Kunal feels more connected to Nandini. And also if they'd shown him having some basic issues with Mauli before Nandini entered the picture, we can somehow conclude that there was something wrong in their relationship, that it was already on the rocks. Nandini was just the last straw in it to get finally torn away.

But no, they never showed anything like that. They neither showed Kunal and Nandini talking about something meaningful. It'd have been acceptable that they showed him getting attarcted to her evem before. But Bam, one day he watches her dance in rain, and new feelings comes? Like WTH?
How can this feelings be called an emotional connection or Love??? Its nothing but bullshit...

The guy happens to be very shallow and disgusting. And I Pity Nandini also now. She is falling for a man who didn't blink an eyelid to dump his wife Of few years ... How long it'll take him to forget her and fall for another beautiful woman who can also dance well? Where has her brains gone huh?
Oh yeah, if Kunal is a trophy, I wish no woman wins him.

Good Balanced post !
In our patriachal society it's easy to blame woman for everything. Be it the wife or the other woman, somehow it's never the man's fault🤢

It's always shown in TV serials, how the husband other woman ke jaal mein fas jata hai and The Good wife rescues him from the Evil woman! The husband is Not bad, voh bas raasta bhool gya kyunki that other women ne Jaadu kar dia on poor husband!!!
Heights of idiocy!
In an Extra marital affair,Both the man as well as the other woman are equally responsible, Yet the blame always shifts to The woman!!!
Similarly , Nandini and Kunal are to be equally blamed in case Mauli's marraige breaks but Team M members are busy accusing Nandini for the whole fiasco and Team N is accusing and finding Faults in Mauli !!!
And Kunal walks Scot free! As always the man escapes ! The sad truth of our society.

I am in 100% agreement here - if love happened because there was a deep connection it makes complete sense. Generally speaking people whom are content and happy either in marriage or relationships do not cheat - unless you are a serial cheater. I don't understand one minute a caring and loving husband and next a man who lusts after his wife's best friend. WTH with bold and underline.

With Nandini she needs counseling and soon - anyone who comes out an abusive marriage the last thing they should do is jump into another. If that idiot baba would have shut up perhaps she would have been okay but alas now we have a woman who was cheated and now she sadly is a participant in cheating and that too with a man who is a complete no no.
